Fast, friendly and overall great service. The food was really fresh and not greasy at all. I’ll definitely be going back for some breakfast!

Open on Christmas… That’s all I have to say. No wait a second. Wheres the rest of my shake? Lame. No metal cups. Same price. Is this a milkshake tax to afford the overtime wage? Or is my waiter a grinch? Either way… yum. no tip. 5 stars is for consistency.

I always come in for a pie shake and fries. I just wish that like all the other Sharis I’ve been too is that with your pie shake they give you the remainders of the pie shake in the medal cup. Because paying 4.99 for a pie shake and only getting half of that is kinda a waste!!! That’s the only problem I have with this sharis…

I don’t care what people say about Shari’s but they do it right. This morning I had the Ultimate Country Fried Steak with stuffed hash browns. It was awesome. The server was on top of refilling my soda and water. They were never empty. Food came out quick. Shari’s knows how to do breakfast. I will be back.

I’m saying that sometimes you just need steak and eggs. Just a tasty slab of medium-well protein and two runny eggs to sop up your steak bites. Friendly service at this location. My steak did come out well done instead of medium-well. So next time I’ll make sure to ask for medium in hopes that I’ll get it medium-well :-0

I visit this Shari’s with my mom and I have to say that some of the people who work in this location are not very friendly at all, especially one of the managers who is this obese always angry looking wench. Then there’s another server that’s only cordial when you are tipping, other than that she gives you the bitch face. They do have one guy that’s super cool, he always brings you a drink and checks to make sure everything is okay. The place is always clean and the food is mediocre.

Sharis is going down in my opinion. I got sat literally by another couple, our table was less than a foot apart from each other. Could hear their whole conversation. When the food arrived it was fast but honestly wasn’t anything special. The eggs on the omelette were rubbery and it was pretty small. Pancakes were small and thin. It was quick and friendly service however.

They have pretty good food but sometimes the service can be a little slow but always very courteous. the only thing that I don’t like too much is that they have a 21 and over gambling area in the back and something you get strange people walking around. Otherwise everything is good but sometimes slow.

Always a good enjoyable dining experience for me. Everyone always seems in good spirits and the food is better than fast food. Great place to meet up with friends.

My party of 6 stopped in for a breakfast meeting in the morning, 4 out of us had hair in our food. First it was in the coffee, then in the meals. Clearly was not any of our groups hair. Will not be going back and the waitress forgot to bring us all of our food.

It was serviceable. This place certainly gains more stars the drunker you are.

I saw a mouth watering email promotion of a juicy, red slice of prime rib with endless shrimp at Shari’s offered every night from Dec 24th through New Year’s. When we arrived on Christmas eve, the waitress claimed it was offered only on Fridays. I asked her to confirm w the kitchen and she figured out it was indeed being offered. After a decent wait to have our order taken and another 40 mins of waiting for our entrées(with our 5 year old active twin boys), the prime rib arrived looking as if it had been microwave cooked — and it was well done even though we’d ordered it medium rare and medium. After waiting for our waitress to come by and check on us, I finally got up and asked to speak with a manager. Our order was re-entered and about 5 mins later we received another 2 slices of microwaved prime rib … but this time they were medium well done. The shrimp scampi had no sauce whatsoever — a first for us – and was equally overcooked. And we were never asked if we desired more of the«endless shrimp.» The grapes they served to our boys were not washed, sticky and several had rotten spots.(I showed them to the manager, who returned our fruit to the kitchen but never came back with anything.) My mom had to pick out about 25% of her salad leaves — they were the kind of greens that come out of bag, and clearly were past freshness. I asked the waitress what was going on, and she said the cooks were new. I honestly was worried by 84 year old Mom or 5 year old twins might get food poisoning if the cooks’ food prep techniques were as bad as their cooking. I’ve never had this bad an experience at Shari’s … well, that is to say, breakfast is usually fine. I did get a quesadilla once at a Las Vegas Shari’s and they used processed cheese, which I thought was pretty lame given even Taco Bell uses real cheese now. With 5 year old twin boys, I like restaurants like Shari, but I’m doubtful I’ll return for dinner.

The food was so bad during our last visit about a week ago. We were there around 7:30 or so, and place wasn’t busy or anything. Took them for a while to get water, and we had call for help to refill. Everything we ordered we so bad. heck how can one manage to make bacon taste bad, i have never left 4 strips of bacon and didn’t want to bring any leftover home. The omelets size has dropped about 40%. Strawberry lemonade was so bad, we had to ask to switch to hot cocoa for my son. Coffee was about the only thing that i could say was good! The toilets(both men and women) were smelling literally like if someone had just puked there, i had to hold my breathe until i came out. That place is in so bad shape, that they please shut it down.

I was a regular Shari’s customer for years. You normally get what you expect. Good service and not great but decent food and a consistent experience. The Cornell Shari’s seemed to change from above average to poor in a short time. My last two visits were bad. The first time we were seated and the waitress forgot or wasn’t told about us. The last time we left prior to ordering. One coffee mug had a lip stick stain and the silverware had baked food on it. I also noted the restroom was filthy. I went there because it was familiar and good. I really can’t get over how filthy the restaurant has become. They could give me free food for life and I wouldn’t be able to eat it.

Shari’s is Shari’s — a decent enough place, usually very good for breakfast, and the staff is always friendly. I ate there recently for dinner, and everything was as I expected it to be. I had a glass of wine, which is always a nice touch for dinner.

The first time I visited a Shari’s was about 6 years ago when the BFF and I drove to Portland from the Bay Area. We stopped in Medford at the Shari’s there and I got to smoke inside! Coolest thing ever!(At the time). Anyway, 6 years down the road and I live in Oregon now. =) I stopped at this Shari’s late one night for some breakfast grubb and it was just okay. I do think that the quality of Shari’s food is better than a Denny’s/iHop, thats for sure. However, the menu did suck and the service at this location was super slow. Not to mention our tweeker waiter, but thats a WHOLE different story, another time.

Coming home from the Blazers game and was hungry so I thought we could stop at Sharis on the way. It was HORRIBLE. The chef behind the counter took a very long time. My grandma’s pancakes were so greasy and soupy that she couldnt eat it. I felt bad because I got my food and she didnt. My food was good once i got it after a 45 minute wait. The worst part is that they were not even busy at all. That really ticked me off. Our server was very embarassed and I do not blame her one bit. When we got our food it was almost 45 minutes waiting time and it was even busy except for 3 groups besides my grandma and I. I am NEVER going to another Shari’s restruant ever again. Every time i go to a Sharis, tables always dirty/Dirty dishes not being picked up and half time the resturaunts aren’t even busy. DONEWITHIT.

Shari’s can be grouped with Denny’s, IHOP, and countless other chains. Their menu offers typical diner food ranging from biscuits and gravy, hamburgers and fries, and shakes and desserts. They also have an extensive pie selection and you get free pie on Wednesdays. The ambiance is old school diner but clean. The food was good and comforting. I had the biscuits and gravy with smothered fries on my first visit and the biscuits were light and fluffy and the gravy was not too greasy. The fries were delicious, but most things are when smothered in cheese. The following visit I had the egg scramble with hash browns and my hubby had the cinnamon roll french toast. Both breakfasts were yummy and filling before our black Friday excursion. The service though is really outstanding and raised my review from a-okay to me being a fan. My family comes here a lot and all of the staff knows them by name, and vice versa. This is defiantly a neighborhood joint even though it is a chain. All of the waitresses are friendly and check on you often. You get your own pot of coffee and plenty of refills. They even have a gambling room in the back so I guess there is something here for everyone.

Great prices and free pie on Wednesdays! FREEPIE! When I asked the waitress to help me decide between the s’mores and the peanutbutter/chocolate pies she said«oh, I’m not the right person to ask that. I hate pie.» I told her I appreciate her honesty. She then said«actually, I would recommend the peanut butter one because it’s easier for me to take out of the box.» I REALLY appreciated that honesty and the humor that came with it, so I ordered the peanut butter one and left a 50% tip. Hooray for telling the truth!

Shout out to Mitch the Server! You handled our party of 20 last Saturday with great skill and pleasantness. As the only server of our party, I have to hand it to you — you did well. My food came hot and as far as I could tell, everyone was happy with their orders. We may have gotten a few stares, as half of us were still dressed up from a afternoon of Robin Hood themed LARPing. But we were all treated nicely and were very grateful for the seating accommodations. Our party took over the entire large booth area near the lounge, plus two or three regular booths across from our main body. This worked out great. I’d vote for a return next time!
