Sei Bella

This salon is awesome sauce! It has a wonderful vibe and such great service. Kalynne has been my stylist now for over a year and I’ve always been pleased. Being somewhat new to Portland I’m happy to say that I’ve found my salon. Everyone there is friendly and super fun. I have to say they’re all quite comedic so it’s almost like you’re getting a free laugh as well.

Been a client for several years. Wow. Time flies. I was seeking a ‘regular’ hair dresser after mine moved away. A co-​worker recommended Kalynne at Sei Bella and I’ve been with her ever since.
I have always had stylish, quality cuts and color. I always get compliments a day sometimes a month after getting a cut. Once I went with bangs and they came out perfect. I was so happy.
One time in winter, she heated this warming pillow thing in the microwave and it set on my lap while I got my hair cut. Nice touch.
Also, since I constantly procrastinate, I often call in to see if Kalynne can sneak me in for an appointment and she always makes it work. A life saver.
I do sometimes think $ 50 for a cut (no color) is high, but I still go.
The salon is comfy, sometimes I just want to hang out there and chat. Kalynne also places peanuts on the outside window sill for the squirrels to eat. It’s entertaining to watch them.
Kalynne and her other stylists are also pretty funny. They tell good stories.

My hubby and I have been going to Gemma at her shop Sei Bella for years now. We wouldn’t think of going anywhere else! Ever.

Ever since I walked in, shortly after they opened in 2000 or 2001, I’ve loved, and have been complimented on, every cut and style I’ve received.
The 3 ladies are friendly, creative, experienced and keep up on cutting edge of styles and techniques. (There’s commonly talk of the latest conference or style show.) A relaxed, cozy and idyllic atmosphere attracts a varied clientele, of all ages and genders.
Prices are competitive with higher-​end salons, with cuts in the $ 30 – 45 range.

Great little place, tucked away in Ladd’s Circle. I’ve gotten nothing but fantastic hair cuts here. The place itself is very open with big windows — this afford a nice view of the people traffic (bikes and walkers) that pour through Ladd’s Addition.
Prices are on par with other hair salons in Portland.
