This was a fun find on our anniversary weekend. The food was out of this world and worth the wait. The razor clams… WOW! You definitely want reservations for dinner and may have to wait a bit but it is well worth it if you have time. We did not have reservations and waited quite a while but we didn’t mind since we were kid free! It is a cozy little restaurant and they had no problem accommodating small and larger groups. Our waiter was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Very impressed with the whole experience!

Great food and service. They were super busy, but handled the overflow crowd with ease. Wonderful evening.

Great service, good food. Need to get there early as it fills up fast for dinner and the parking lot every small.

Been dining here since they opened years ago. Menu is always changing but their tomato soup is always on the menu and they sell it to go as well. I like to go during 3 – 5 Pm as there is parking available and a cheaper happy hour like menu. If you go in the evening know that the parking is awful and you may have to park down the bloack and across the street. So just plan to drop your partyy off and have one person walk back. That being said, the food is great.

If you’d preferably scout out a one of a kind location over a chain fish and chips this would be an easy pick! You must love the feeling… sit outside on a good day… and yes PORTLANDERS they’ve a covered seating area… so its great 365 days annually! Cost is spendy for a twentysomething like me … but the happy hour is amazing.

Came in on a Saturday with my husband and 2 daughters(10, 15). We had called ahead and made reservations to avoid the long wait and we’re happy we did. Our server Kelly was amazing! So friendly, kind and attentive. My husband had the pork which he said was delicious and actually had left overs that he happily ate the next day, I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The homemade ice cream and soups are to die for! We will 100% be back.

So… Picked up my wife and daughter at PDX on Saturday afternoon after they spent a week in New Orleans, LA. It was dinner time and I asked where they wanted to go to dinner. Without hesitation they both, in unison said, «SEASONS®IONS.» I said, «WHAT? After spending a week in the heart of cajun country you want to go to S & R?» To which they responded, «No one does Cajun as good as Season & Regions.» What more needs to be said? Sincerely, Steve, Judi and Melyssa Graeper

The food tastes great, nice selection of seafood and northwest favorites, priced very affordable for lunch, and everyone is nice, albeit a little on the slower service side. Stopped in for lunch yesterday around 1 pm — the actual parking lot was PACKED, but there is tons of overflow parking in the Jewish Community Center across the street(they designate the entire back row, closest to the main road). We were seated fairly quickly and were able to snags patio seat. We waited around 15 minutes until someone came by to take our order… It could have been our seat was tucked in a corner, but still. Luckily they have some trivia cards to keep you occupied at the table. It took a while to get us our bread, but it was warm, toasty, and perfect — it had a nice garlic/pesto topping and the bread itself had a nice, slightly sweet flavor. We ordered the Alaskan halibut cakes(at 7.95… A steal!) and the hot seafood salad(12.50…also a great deal for the amount of seafood and large portion). The halibut cakes were our favorites — it came with 2, creamy mashed potatoes(needed little more seasoning) and roasted veggies. I normally don’t like tartAr sauce, but theirs is delicious and paired well with the halibut cakes. The seafood salad was huge portion –it came with salmon, bay shrimp, and rockfish. I would have preferred a different dressing(maybe like a creamy dill or green goddess) but it was still good. The salmon and shrimp were great, but we found the rockfish excessively fishy — it needed lemon or some sort of acidic marinade/dressing to cut through that fishy flavor. All in all, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a go. I like the food and they have a great cheap eats menu(essentially HH) that id love to try. I’m hoping next time around the service will be more attentive after we are seated, but everyone was still very friendly.

Mothra Says… Quality and Freshness So Andrew has mentioned Seasons and Regions to me for some time and is one of his favorite restaurants. On a recent Sunday afternoon, I wanted to take K to a new restaurant; as it seems we continue to go to our 6 or 8 favorites over and over. We hopped into the Mothra mobile and headed over to Seasons and Regions which is halfway between Hillsdale and Multnomah Village in SW Portland. Andrew had advised me that it is superb dining with fresh NW Seafood at its core. We parked easily and entered to a mostly full restaurant. We were greeted and five minutes later we were seated in a covered area outside on a partly sunny/cloudy Oregon April afternoon. Chelsea greeted us as our server and provided menus. We quickly made our choices but first ordered two glasses of a 2014 French white wine: Domaine D’ Augeron. Quite good. As K and I people watched, we noticed some of the entrees walking by. Many were off of the brunch menu, and some off of the lunch menu. One that I will try the next time I am in(yes indeed, there will be a next time), was the fried oysters with fries. Wow, not only looked delicious but smelled fantastic as well. Also, there was a shrimp and dungeons crab salad that arrived next table over that a woman with an appetite got very excited about. I concur, that looked really tasty. Within about 12 minutes, my wageyu 1⁄3 lb cheeseburger with all the accompaniments, and exceptionally well seasoned«hot to the touch» fries arrived then; K’s two loaded rockfish tacos with black beans and Spanish rice greeted her. I have never had wageyu beef before, so I was excited. However, these hot fries were simply calling out my name. I must have had a dozen before attempting to bite into my burger. I will say that was a fresh hamburger. The crunchy lettuce, red onions, sliced tomato mayo and of course melted cheese was really tasty. K got after her two fish tacos as well. Chelsea did check in on us but could tell that we were very satisfied with our plates. No dessert, no coffee but, we definitely will be back. Very good service, excellent cuisine by the chef, clean modern restaurant. Mothra says…3.65 of 5.0

I’m updating my review again. Their food is just that good. The Honey Ginger Lime Salmon Salad is excellent! So much flavor and the salsa on top is delicious.

Beautiful part of town. Was seated outside within 5minutes of arrival. While waiting they let us order drinks that were put on the tab instead of having to cash out at the bar. Love it!!! Peach drop martini and ginger palmer drinks were amazing. The menu is awesome. Lots of options. We started with two appetizers. The tiger shrimp bruschetta and coconut shrimp! Delicious! Then I had to try a cup of the tomato bisque which they sell too! Caesar side salad was perfect size.

We really enjoy Seasons & Regions. The food is always very good and the price is affordable. This time we had the tomato bisque, friend chicken and mashed potatoes(DELICIOUS), Thai peanut rice dish, and strawberry rhubarb crisp. Also had the strawberry lemonade but it wasn’t worth the price considering there are no free refills. Staff are also very professional. The only cons are the parking and the size of the restaurant. If only they could upgrade to a larger place! Oh, and the food must have been salty because I am so parched writing this review!

First time here last Sat with a few friends and their son. We purposely came for their«March Cheap Eats» I selected 3 items off the menu thinking the portion size would be small, however it was quite large. Far and away the favorite was the fried chicken. Good service, friendly tone, delicious food and a good value. Only draw back was seeing a few rats by the dumpsters but… garbage is garbage. Loved the experience. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Overall, we were both pleased with our brunch experience. The server was thoughtful, the food was good, and the food came out quickly. We got the Pacific Beach eggs benedict and the sweet potato ham hash. We both really enjoyed our dishes, although with a few exceptions — the food was barely warm when it came out(and cold poached eggs & hollandaise are not great), the potato pancakes were on the mushy and cold side(I was hoping for crispy and hot), and there was a small hair in my hash. But, I figure these things are bound to happen sometimes, so I didn’t bother sending it back or anything. More kudos for two specific things: 1. they take reservations for brunch! If there’s anything in the world that can stop me from wanting brunch, it’s the idea of waiting for an hour to eat. 2. scones with every brunch order! I always want something sweet to pair with my savory, and this was perfect.

Had their late happy hour. It’s great they even offer a late happy hour, but what’s better is that their happy hour menu is always changing. So you can try more stuff. I shared a few happy hour dishes with a group of 4 and all of the dishes were good. Tried a pasta with chicken dish, a salmon dish, fried chicken, chorizo flatbread, and a salad. I was really impressed with the tequila cocktail ordered. Super fresh and well balanced. Would come back again.

A little too much crammed into a space that is holding too many. If that is my only complaint it is gonna be a good review. We started our evening with the wontons which were light and creamy, followed by the Caesar salad(which was a little heavy on garlic) –Que the dragon breath We came for an early valentines day with the 9 y.o. My wife ordered the rock fish risotto which was very good. I ordered the razor clams. Both dishes were accompanied with a side of delicious veggies and some rough mashed red potatoes. The Razor clams could have been a little crispier on the outside, but that is just a personal preference, and I could have asked for that. Our 9y.o. ordered the crab cakes which were very good. Overall, I would most definitely return. Their corkage fee is reasonable and also their drink menu was plenty. We had great service throughout the evening. Thank you.

Praline Bacon FTW!!! I like how this place doesn’t get over crowded as most Portland brunch spots. Food is on point and I everything I tried was great.

As everyone else mentioned, the ambiance in this place is WEIRD. Grandma goes urban but doesn’t get rid of all the tacky trinkets and clutter? It’s a mess. The tomato bisque is amazing. Order it. Dunk bread in it. Die happy. I don’t remember what my main dish was. That could be one of two things:(1) it was forgettable or(2) it was just overshadowed by the delicious soup. I’m guessing it’s a combination of both. There is a parking lot BUT it’s teeny! It fills up quickly, so be prepared to possibly park elsewhere. Is this place worth trying? Sure. I’d return, but I’m not sure I’d make a special trip out of it.

My first visit was 10 years ago. I wasn’t impressed and hadn’t returned. A friend wanted to go last night, OK I’ll give it another shot. No line, seated immediately and that was as fast as it got. 15mins for water and a waiter. 25mins in before waiter came for order I ordered a special of pasta, halibut, chantrell, muscles Friend ordered a salad We both ordered the tomato soup– highly touted Soup and bread arrived and it was delicious. I had several bites of my special and couldnt go further. The combo was not working, chantrels were slimmy, for lack of a better word, and as a whole VERY fishy. I rarely send back an order and didn’t want to but I did. I was offered another order and I chose the fried oysters– as they are highly touted as well. My friend was served fish tacos instead of the salad she ordered. She said the tacos were actually her second choice so she kept them and enjoyed them. The oysters came out fairly fast and were nice. We had ordered an alcoholic drink and an iced tea– we were not offered further drinks until readying to leave. Our server was pleasant but I wonder if very new. The experience wasnt BAD it was a ‘scattered feeling’ and poor timing for taking orders and checking in with us. We also had pumpkin dessert and the bread pudding which we both enjoyed. 2 stars and a meh, Ive experienced better as this was just not memorable. They have a huge following and there is something good going on there but I havent hit it yet. I’d go back to get their soup to go which is prepackaged and ready to go.

I love some good seafood. It tastes even better when it ends up being a free meal. Not because of the restaurant, just to be clear. So I spent the day out in the Beav/SW Portland area at a friend’s daughter’s birthday. Six years old, a strawberry fairy party. In other words… total fun was happening here and you are all jealous. So I head to their place afterwards and my buddy’s parents invite me out to dinner with all of them. Originally it was Thai but that quickly changed to seafood. No biggie. Off to Seasons & Regions. A nice little place across the street from a Jewish elementary school where my buddy works. He can’t bring this to lunch when he’s at work. Poor guy. First off, nice menu with lots of great choices. Apparently it’s the time for some good salmon right now because that’s what our server was pushing. Being that I ate pretty good all day, including a stop at Burgerville, I wasn’t eating heavy. The prices for most of the menu items were in the teens but the salads and lighter fare were a more appropriate range and the NW Seafood salad looked like a winner. Rockfish, salmon and shrimp with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion and bacon and a vinaigrette dressing. There was a salmon dish ordered along with sole and a waygu burger. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the fresh squeezed lemonade was perfectly tart. The meal was enough that no dessert was needed(plus there was ice cream to be had elsewhere) even though their desserts looked amazing. As for the free meal? My buddy’s parents took care of that and kinda shocked us. Very nice of them. Great place, nice patio although there could have been a few more fans outside, not enough of a breeze. Enjoy.
