I discovered Sahagun Chocolates for the first time when visiting Cacao Drink Chocolate café. A display case had several single pieces of artisan chocolate from various vendors like Sahagun, Michael Rechutti of San Francisco, Theo of Seattle, etc.
I chose the Luscious Caramel ball enclosed in a bittersweet Ethiopian chocolate shell. That evening back in my hotel room, I finally got around to trying it out.
The firm chocolate shell broke upon my bite and salty, buttery liquid caramel oozed out. OMG! This is the B-​E-​S-​T chocolate I’ve had in years!
Glad Sahagun had their chocolates conveniently offered at Cacao in downtown and I hope to try many more varieties of confections from this company.
