I work for a law firm that utilizes Ruby Receptionists daily and as someone who at one time worked for a company that took inbound calls, I know what a good call and a bad call can look like. The people at Ruby’s do an absolutely amazing job. The level of professionalism these people carry in their work is phenomenal. Every single time I talk to them they are not only willing to help me, but eager to do so and never, not once, have they made me feel like my request was burdensome. If you are looking for a company to handle your calls, look no further. They will most likely not be the cheapest but I can stand behind them and say the WILL BE THE BEST.

The service is the best. I have never received a complaint from any of my clients about Ruby. I have even had clients who want to meet the receptionist!
If you are considering an answering service, look no further. I will give an example: Once I had a client driving to my office for a meeting. He got lost and called my number, which Ruby answered. Ruby’s receptionist got on Google Maps and told my client how to find the office! When my client arrived, he wanted to meet the receptionist! (She was on break, I said.)
Doesn’t get any better than that. Now they even have an Android App, which is a little confusing, but it works.
I am very pleased with Ruby Receptionists, and highly recommend them.

Ok, I don’t have any first hand experience with them as a client, but as a prospective client, I was certainly WOWed!
Firstly, Ruby was very forthcoming on the services they DO and DO NOT provide. They gave me a name of another option because they weren’t going to be able to do what I needed. Wonderful.
Secondly, I got to talking to Thais about my upcoming trip to Portland and she and her coworkers came up with a really long and awesomely detailed list of things I could do on my trip. Holy COW.

After yet another stellar encounter with Ruby Receptionists, I had to Unilocal.
Ruby is wonderful. We use them as a receptionist service for our small clinic. Even though they can’t schedule appointments, their level of service, professionalism, and accessibility was so high above every other service I researched that we decided to go with them anyway.
We worked out a system with them that enables us to take appointments easily, through instructions that route calls to the right person at the right time. Working with Ruby is truly like having a receptionist that was the perfect hire.

I totally agree with Brigette Z. We’ve been working with Ruby for over two years now and can’t say enough about how amazing they are. Through the years staff at my company have grown to love our «Rubies.» They provide beyond exceptional customer service, go out of their way to be friendly and helpful to us and our customers and I have personally interacted with several of the staff and the owner and am amazed at the humane way they operate their business. Here, too, is just one of a million examples I could give of how great they are. I was off to a meeting. The person I was meeting was not only lost but wanted to let me know she’d be late. As she was giving the message tot he receptionist whoever helped her said — «Where are you? Why don’t I just look up the directions for you?» Sweet and helpful in every way. Seriously. So the meeting went off without a hitch thanks to our helpers at Ruby.

In ten years in business, I don’t think we’ve had a «vendor» who has been more integral to our success. It’s hard to think of Ruby Receptionists as only a vendor. So, please indulge me while I anthropomorphize the «partner company» that is Ruby Receptionists into the «perfect employee» that is Ruby.
When we found Ruby, she was like a mirage, seemingly too good to be true. We thought, «There’s no way that she works as smoothly as she claims». So we talked to her, got a feel for what she offered, and thought we’d give her a shot.
We hired Ruby two years ago, and we have never been disappointed for one second. Ruby is our ideal colleague, always bright-​eyed and bushy-​tailed from the crack of dawn all the way until dusk. She is seamlessly integrated with our phone lines, and she knows exactly what questions to ask and when. Ruby’s call handling is perfect, and you would never know that she’s in Portland and we’re in San Diego. Yes, she’s THAT good!
