I have had one of the worst customer service experiences ever with this company. I ordered a rug in October which was supposed to be in stock. After a few weeks passed and it hadn’t arrived, I called the company and they said «Oops backordered til January» no apology or anything. Since I really liked the rug, I decided to wait and now at the end of January I went to check on it and now it is backordered until March! Again, I was not notified of this, nor were they apologetic or accommodating in any way. I would strongly discourage anyone from ordering from them!

This is a big store with all kinds of clasic stuff for your home. It is a Portland original not a chain, With a mix of salvage and new stuff you might expect it to be a mess, It isn’t it is well layout, most of it is beautiful.
They have been salvaging building matirials for a long time. Service here is always profesional and excellent. If they don’t have it they probably know where to look.
The layout: First floor in back has salvaged house parts, front has a mix of bathroom things (much of it new) and furniture with lots of odds and ends. Up stairs has the clearance area, verious displays and more furniture, Lots of examples of things that you can order through them.
They are not cheap, but their stuff is amazing and well made. Their stuff makes me think that it will become the antiques your great grandkids will get to enjoy to.

They can’t even manage to ship one light fixture. They lied about requiring a signature for delivery, their «customer service» staff couldn’t be much snottier or more incompetent. They want your money, they couldn’t care less if you get your product. Whatever they’ve got you can find elsewhere.
The customer service at nearly all of the Williams Sonoma companies really couldn’t; be much worse. I’d love to talk about the light fixture quality, but seeing that I never got the product I can’t. oh but they’re soooo sorry for the inconvenience.

I purchased $ 800 worth of pendant lighting for my kitchen island back in August 2015. The items arrived and were attempted to be installed. Upon installation. the brass nuts that hold the light fixture glass shade popped off. This happened on two of the three fixtures purchased. Luckily I was there to catch the falling GLASS shade.
I immediatley called in to Rejuvenation and requested replacements and expressed concern over quality and safety of their fixtures. (I have two babies) The staff at Rejuventaion assured me that the fixtures are safe and well made and that this must have been a «fluke». At that time. the customer service rep put in the order to have replacements sent. She assured me that they would be expedited delivery.
Three weeks later… I still had no fixtures, so I called into customer service again. The rep I spoke to informed me that the rep I spoke to prior had not expedited the light fixtures and that they went out regular mail. So I waited another week and finally recieved the light fixtures but NO SHADES!
So I called in again. Apparently the second Rep I spoke to had accidently removed the shades from the order. So the new rep went ahead and over nighted me the shades.
The next day the fixtures were installed… come to find out they were the WRONG size! The rep at Rejuvention had put in a 30″ fixture vs. a 30″ fixture plus shade as was originally ordered. When you purchase on the website… you put in your custom size and that is the size of the fixture including the shade… whichever is longest.
After 2 months of going back and forth I decided to return everything and not do business with Rejuvention. My return arrived in their system on Oct 7 2015. I still have not gotten the refund of $ 787.71. I called in today come to find out they kept the money as a CREDIT to STORE!
The rep told me that they will be posting it to my credit card today and that it should be in my acct. in 3 business days. Completely UNACCEPTABLE!
The products in their catelogs and website look amazing. Unfortunately the product is not well made and their staff is clearly not competent. Can’t believe this is part of Williams Sonoma– Pottery Barn. Will NEVER EVER purchase anything from them again. BEWARE!

My husband and I went into the store to browse their merchandise and we selected this antique library table. We had to find someone to help us because no one bothered to greet us in the furniture area. We asked the sales representative to hold the table for 24 hours while we made a decision. The next day I called and purchased the table and the rep told me that I could pick the table up within two weeks, but that it would be preferable to pick with the week and to give them a one hour heads up as to when we would arrive. I scheduled it for a Sunday in July and then called one hour before we expected to arrive.
When I called, the person instantly told me that it was not possible to pick up the table that day because of some kind of craft fair they were hosting in the store. No one told me this when I called and purchased the table. I had already made arrangements for pick up and our friend was not available for another month due to summer vacation. I told them to figure it out and that I would be there within the hour.
I was then called by the «GM» who asked if there was any way that we could reschedule, and that a month wouldn’t be a problem. They would break the table down, bubble wrap it and store it for us until we could pick it up. He also said «he would make it worth our while». We picked the table up after closing on our house. My husband arrived and the table was not dismantled or even wrapped in bubble wrap. He had to ask to borrow tools and was ignored. Luckily he found tools around the loading dock and was able to dismantle it himself.
We have yet to hear how they are going to «make it worth our while». To be honest. I love the table, but not the place. I will never shop at Rejuvenation again.

AVOID ordering on line. Placed an order three weeks ago. One item that was supposed to ship for free was charged 50% cost for shipping. I’ve been told over and over they would credit my account but it still has not happened. Second item was supposed to ship two weeks ago. I email and received a notice it would ship last week. No shipping notice. Call again and I’m told it was damaged in freight and returned. Called again and told it was shipped and I would have it in two days. Still no shipping notice so I called again and was told the item was in «picked» status. Asked for the entire order to be cancelled and so far nothing but finger pointing and excuses. Every thing from we have new employees to we just don’t know what happened to your order. Worse yet they billed my CC for shipping on an item they didn’t even expect to have in stock for another three weeks. Just plain awful customer service.
Thank goodness for CC protection from Companies like this.

Lighting fixtures, and anything that is period are simply expensive. I ended up spending 3x what I spent at Rejuvenation for a true period piece on eBay. It was a splurge. I couldn’t help it. It also really depends on what period you’re trying to accommodate. I’d never pay for their Craftsmen or Victorian pieces. There are tons of reasonably-​priced imitations out there at Home Depot and Lowes. Me, I’ve got a Googie time capsule and thanks to Mad Men, finding really good midmod is difficult.
As for Rejuvenation, I purchased the two fixtures, but had to get ceilings fixed before install. When I finally opened the packages, I realized one of the glass shades was missing. It was my fault, I should have inventoried when received. But, I went back to the show room and they treated me like an actual person and just sent me the $ 100 shade free. No grief, no drama, just «Oh jeez. Let’s fix that pronto!» In the long run, shopping here is worth the investment. Do your research, you’ll get over the sticker shock. Wait for a free shipping sale and you’ll get some savings. If you’ve got your eye on something specific, keep checking back. They have sales and clearances all the time.
If you’re visiting a retail location and getting bad service, it’s likely because the place is mobbed. It is almost always mobbed. Sales people tend to hook up with customers and follow them all the way through a purchase, which is a lengthy process since everything has to be ordered online. Nothing is on site so you won’t walk out with product. Go during your lunch or right when they open. I got hooked up with a salesperson who remembered my name and recognized me each time I returned. And, I’m covered with ink and get snubbed at the best places as a matter of routine.

Very disappointed. We bought a gorgeous leather sofa — several years ago — that was made from a local Oregon furniture company but sold at Rejuvenation. Within a few years the leather started to peel. Apparently the material is a leather composite… though we spent a small fortune, they cheaped out on us… be careful what you buy here. Expensive does not necessarily translate into quality.

Tried my best to buy a $ 372 door knob setup combo to go with my mid-​century modern house. First shipment was missing the back plate. I sighed and called them and they picked it up and sent out another. Oh guess what, this one contained the cheap back plate made in China, but they put in a gold door knob when the order clearly stated brushed chrome. Well I called and arranged for a SECOND return and cancelled everything. They won’t be given a third chance to screw it up. For your notes, the Ariel door knob set IS NOT WORTH IT.
Thanks for wasting over a month of my time. I’m not sure what the shipping department is smoking, but they truly suck!

Back when I bought my first house this place was tremendous. If you were into the craftsman thing– plus crazy antiques from windows, to hardware, to lamps, fixtures and rugs this was THE place to go. For an even stranger reason at the time I could afford some of these things. I still have them. That damn round Stickley coffee table will surely outlive me. The second floor used to be rewired light fixtures. I’ve got some amazing old alabaster lamps that I think are grand and are certainly precious to me.
Anyway, then came college and I haven’t bought anything from there in about 15 years other than a lamp. All this to tell you it’s changed. A lot.
To me, it’s not nearly as interesting and there is only one floor of the groovy stuff– not nearly as many antiques and the few they have are pretty cool, but Very expensive– no more rewired and rebuilt stoves/​ranges from the 20’s or 30’s. No more reupholstered mohair furniture. No more examples of local cabinet makers (what’s up with THAT?!) — things change and I’m about to gut my kitchen and I’ll get my hardware there but that’s it.
Expensive as hell, for sure, but nowhere near what this place used to be as far as unique stuff.

Gorgeous stuff, but the customer service is sub par.

Meh is all I have to say. I can get cooler stuff and have a way better time doing it at hippo hardware. Not one sales person even bothered to say hello to us, and only did they come out of hiding when the more well to do looking customers approached the order picking counter. The lady that rang us up was very friendly, but all the staring from customers AND employees was a bit uncalled for. There are way weirder looking people in town, and sideways glancing is just rude. All I needed were some hooks and cord. Think I’ll go somewhere else next time, where an old rusty metal tin doesn’t cost $ 15.

My Wife and I come here to fight. Then we stay away for a few months, come back, and fight again. Finally… we agreed on a light fixture for the living room. The right look and the right price. Now the kitchen and dining room are next. We will fight. We will argue. But by God… we will have the lights we want. Yes… this store is expensive. But the products will last a lifetime. That, to us, is worth it.
Oh…bike parking, really ??? You want to spend a grand and carry it on your bike? Not happening. So who cares.

Whoa! Spendy!
So this place is like a Restoration Hardware mixed with an architectural salvage. They’ve got great stuff, and damn if they aren’t proud of it. I would love to have lots and lots and lots and lots of money and design a house based on their wares, but that’s not in the cards, or my income tax bracket.
That being said, this place is fun to browse. It’s merchandised beautifully, and allows for a lot of inspiration that can be achieved (with a little research and effort) at a fraction of the price. Ultimately, however, I found shopping here to be a bit discouraging, as price tag after price tag reminded me that I’m so not the 1%, and probably never will be.
The staff wasn’t particularly friendly and never came to ask if we needed any assistance. Maybe they got the impression that we were out of our financial league. Still, a «hi, can I help you?» would have been appreciated. They were, however, helping other people so maybe we just fell through the cracks.
While full of so many pretty things that I covet, I doubt I’ll be back, as browsing for things I’ll probably never afford is pretty masochistic.

Kind of cool. The reproductions are obvious. They do have obscure items and charge a hefty price. If you have time, go online. The employees are not knowledgable but are helpful.

Hello expensive.
I really like looking at things here. But no touching. I don’t want to break anything.
I do like the part in the back where things are on sale.

I kind of love this place, despite what other people may think. It’s full of things that, while I might not purchase, are still a lot of fun to peruse.
I have no interest in buying their furniture, as I live with a maker, but I love the collection of candles, lotions, and small goods they have throughout their store. Everything smells lovely in here — maybe b/​c there’s a super cute, small, café attached to it? Or maybe b/​c I like the combination of tea, coffee, pastries, and… wood.
If you’re looking for a cool place to wander around, you should go to Rejuvenation. Who knows, you might find a treasure or five to buy!

What a difference a few years makes. Gone is the sprawling upstairs assortment of furniture. Gone is most of the upstairs, actually. Gone are the beautiful clawfoot tubs. Gone is the sprinkling of local Lonesomeville pottery to help set the mood and make you feel like you’re wandering around someone’s living room where everything happens to be for sale.
They still have the $ 300 mailbox that I covet so hard. Though it’s now $ 400. Inflation, yo.
They also still have the as-​is discounted lighting fixtures upstairs in the back corner. That area is still worth perusing, but it’s hard to feel like you’re getting a deal so much as avoiding a complete and total beat down before having your wallet forcibly removed from your back pocket.
I guess it was inevitable. Things change. They did open a new store in Berkeley, CA. I think they may have accidentally priced everything in the Portland store as if we live in the Bay Area housing market, though. We moved here to escape that. Turns out, there is no escaping California.

Quality has really suffered since they sold out to Williams Sonoma «Sellers of Chinese Junk».
Most of their glass shades now come from China. They charge 50 dollars for a 5 dollar shade.
We’ve bought many fixtures in the past, and this last chandelier was the last straw. The vertical tubing was rough, looked like Jose cut it with a torch. The spread of the lights are not even.
Customer service was polite enough, but did nothing. All 6 of the chinese made shades they sent, had chips on the rims, and were un-​even. They were supposed to send 6 more that were inspected prior to shipping. They sent 5 instead and they were worse then the originals. They were supposed to send a UPS call tag for return shipping, but never did.
If I see a $ 250 charge on my card, they are going to get a charge-​back. Never again will I buy anything from Rejuvenation. What a shame

A one-​of-​a-​kind wondrous warehouse filled with authentic vintage salvage and reproduction lighting, plumbing, and hardware pieces. The store is spacious, 38,000 square feet with 2 floors and a café.
On the first floor they have clawfoot tubs, bath fixtures, doorknobs, lighting, dishes, candles and so forth. The most interesting section is the salvage area, with wood doors from old houses, vintage keys, vintage doorknobs, old windows, old tools, and even old urinals. The pieces have so much character. On the second floor they have a sale section and furniture (nice views too).
Rejuvenation’s vintage reproduction lighting allows you to design your own piece online (the mount, shade, length) with styles ranging from Victorian to Mid-​Century Modern. I’m officially obsessed with lighting fixtures.
