I am frequently changing my hairstyle or color, and Annabelle has never been anything short of fantastic. She is extremely professional while maintaining a very friendly and welcoming interaction with her clients. My hair has never looked better and every time I come to Prima, I leave with exactly what I asked for and more! Thank you so much to Annabelle and I truly reccomend Prima salon!

I started seeing Annabelle last summer and she has been a lifesaver. I finally have the color I’ve wanted (mostly brown with natural blonde highlights), my hair is getting healthier thanks to her amazing treatments and it is so much more manageable since she did the Brazilian Blowout. She is always professional, really listens and works with you and is just sooooo sweet! I cannot recommend her enough! And booking appointments is always easy thanks to their app on Vagaro :)

Shay Slyter does my hair. Whenever I come home from school I make sure to make an appointment. I refuse to go to anybody else. I have bounced around from salon to salon, stylist to stylist. Now I have finally found somebody who makes me feel confident I’ll walk out of the salon looking stunning. My hair is super long and thick. It grows fast and the bright red color is hard to maintain. She creates a hair style that is unique, and talks me through different options. She is super friendly and even takes time out of her day to look up hair styles specifically for me. I would definitely recommend booking an appointment with her. You won’t regret it!!!

I go to Annabelle at Prima and she is awesome. I moved to Portland 8 months ago and have been trying to find someone who can do great highlights and cut. Annabelle listened to what I wanted and then exceeded my expectations. On top of it she’s super sweet. Highly recommend her as a hairstylist!

I’ve been coming to Prima Hair Salon for over 5 years. Every 4 – 6 weeks I make the 35 minute drive from Happy Valley. Why?, because the owner Jenn Webb is a not only a professional as a hair expert, she runs a great business. I have been through a few assistants along the way, that she has either kept in the business link of Prima or they have been trained well enough to become a stylist in her salon.
My hair always looks fabulous for social events, it also is classy enough for all my business meetings.
I always look forward to coming and seeing what Jenn and her crew have in store for me. The 2 hour rest period usually includes coffee or wine to assist in the relaxation time.
Parking is paid and the surrounding businesses make it an enjoyable place to have on my calendar as opposed to just another thing to do to keep up w/​the necessities.

I love the central location! The front desk staff is friendly and attentive and the décor is high end but comfortable. I have seen Cassie for years and she gives HANDS DOWN the BEST facials I’ve ever had in Portland, and I’ve worked in the spa industry for ten years. See her for a fabulous microderm facial and leave minus ten years off your mug. Her attention to detail is impeccable yet you’ll feel totally relaxed when all is said and done.

Stacey ford is a keeper; talented and so sweet! She did an amazing balayage, kept it natural, dimensional, and vibrant! Xx

Kevin is amazing! I was having a hair crisis from another salon and he spent time to listen to my concerns. I have never had someone hit the nail on the head quite like him. He understood exactly what needed to be done and I couldn’t have been happier with the results. He is super easy to talk to and understands hair! He also showed me some new products and my hair has never felt healthier! I think I found my new salon (:

Simply put: Kevin Christopher is an artist with hair; he is detailed, knowledgeable and delivers exceptional results. My hair was cut and colored by him over a month ago, and it still looks great. I won’t be seeing any other hair stylist now, because my expectations have been exceeded.

Before I went to Kevin at Prima Salon, I had been growing my hair out from a very short pixie cut for the past eight months. I had also gone back to my natural color and was loving the natural look. I was terrified of getting it cut and losing all the progress I had made, but I had to do something about the mullet on the back of my scalp. I also wanted to add a little brightness for the winter months, but I was afraid of that orangey, overdone highlights look. I am so glad I went to Kevin!!! He did an amazing job! He really listened to what I wanted and he really took his time with my color. It turned out perfectly blended and natural — in fact, someone commented that they loved how I’d gone back to my natural hair color. On top of that, he gave me the cutest cut — I finally feel like I have hair again! I never thought of myself as someone with amazing, gorgeous, luscious hair, but you better believe I do now! I will definitely be going back.

Five stars for Noni! I’ve had several different kind of treatments from her and she never fails to make me comfortable and be an absolute pro. So far I’ve had facials, brow wax and tinting, back treatments, brazilians, and even a spray tan. Even when I’ve got a million questions about something I’m trying for the first time (hello spray tan) she answers them all and I always feel like she’s genuinely happy to see me. My skin has never looked better. My own mother confirms it.

This place is a little gem! Everyone is nice and they have a parking structure they validate parking in the same building. Russ has been many of my friends hair for years and is stellar!

My first time at Prima & Annabelle Campbell worked magic on my hair! I went in to brighten up dark brown hair– she listened to exactly what I wanted & exceeded my expectations. Left with a beautiful mix of foiled/​balayage highlights in the perfect shade. If you’re looking for an amazing color technician & stylist in Portland, she’s your girl! Vannda is amazing! I haven’t been 100% satisfied with any salons since I moved to Portland two years ago and I’m so happy that I finally walked into Prima Salon after having not been there for two and a half years.
Before moving to Portland, I always had my hair nicely layered and had thinned out bangs as my hair is pretty thick but no one could get it right. I remembered seeing Vannda two and a half years ago when I came into Prima to get my hair relaxed by another hair stylist. Vannda was working her magic on another customer and I was amazed just watching her.
I can’t believe that I didn’t go to Vannda sooner. Prior to cutting my hair, she asked me questions and allowed me to pull up pictures styles I like/​looks I wanted to go for. I gave her my ideas and let her run with them. After she shampooed and cut my hair, I could feel such a difference. My hair is now thinner, lighter, and much healthier before AND it looks amazing. Mad skills aside, Vannda was really cool. Easy to talk to and open to any questions I had. She also gave me a mini consultation on dyeing my hair and I can’t wait to do it in a couple months!
I highly recommend going to Vannda if you want a gorgeous, trendy haircut. With a few flicks of the wrist, she really does transform your hair into something amazing.

It is a very rare occasion that someone can put their hands on my thick, pain-​in-​the-​a$$ hair and not make me want to stab myself in the eye with a dull butter knife and then run away screaming. This is where Kevin Christopher comes in (looking mighty fine might I add). He listened to my thorough (ridiculous) requests, looked through my Pinterest photos of similar hair styles I was interested in (that were all probably completely different), reassured me that I would in fact live another day after cutting off 10+ inches of hair, and then proceeded to bring me wine. Is this a dream? No.
Long story short… the salon is super cute, and Kevin is super great. He makes sure to talk you through every step of a big change, is nice to look at, and gives a mean scalp massage. Or was that just a shampoo? I don’t know, I blacked out.

It’s a gorgeous salon in a beautiful location in Portland. Kevin Christopher is a colorist and stylist extraordinaire, and he makes my hair look terrific. Fabulous!

I came in for the first time to Prima Salon with a small group for a hair and makeup bridal session, and ANNABELLE CAMPBELL delivered! Annabelle listens attentively, is professional, friendly, experienced, and proficient.
She easily executed my lanky straight hair into a voluminous, wavy side updo with a braid, and my makeup was beautiful, classic, and timeless. Annabelle also did the bride-to-be’s hair, and it was stunning! The bride-​to-​be had shown me pictures of what she wanted, and Annabelle expertly coiffed her hair into gorgeous locks. Other wedding guests kept complimenting on the hair and makeup, which lasted all through the day and night (and even through breakfast the next morning!).
I came back to Prima Salon yesterday, after my great experience last week. After showing Annabelle my Pinterest pins of my coveted haircut, she once again worked her magic and transformed my lifeless, long hair into a healthy, body-​full, shoulder length, versatile bob. I love how I can wear it sleek and straight, tousled, or wavy!
I highly recommend Annabelle, especially for bridal hair and makeup! She is now my new stylist!

After researching for a long time I came up with Stacey Ford to help fix a failed attempt at an ombré. To make this short I would have to say Stacey is a hair color genius. She listened and delivered perfection in color! She has done many classes on ombré and different color techniques… she knows her stuff! The salon is beautiful and the products are top quality also. Thank you Stacey!!!

After much research I came in for a consultation with Stacy Ford. My hair had been over processed with bleach and I needed a color correction. My platinum blonde hair was a mess until Stacy transformed it. After all her hard work and carefully getting it back to good health I am blonde again! She is a color genius.

I went to Prima for a wax and Leigh was the sweetest, cutest, friendliest, most
professional and least painful esthetician have ever been to. She is great! The salon is delightful! Please go!
