Barbeque Saturday Night event: What a delightful place to enjoy great food, great service and music! Sitting in a backyard garden enjoying great acoustic guitar and songs sung with emotion while eating Bbq with good friends — doesn’t get better!

I am sorry, but no where else in Portland hits the sweet potato pie out of the park like this one. I’ll go without dessert all week just so I can have a whole individual pie for myself

We just found out Poshette’s has a $ 5BBQ dinner on Saturday nights, so we had to check it out. It was great! $ 5 buys BBQ meat and a side dish. We tried the ribs, mac and cheese, and sweet potatoes. We were not disappointed! The back patio was lovely, and the music was great. We’ll definitely be back!

Good if you like quiet and not too busy on a Monday afternoon(I’m more of a busy coffee shop person so I can sit and do some homework). The smoothies are very yummy and the person working there at the time I showed up was very courteous and kind. Side note: love the decorations of this place.

My boyfriend and I had a hankering for smoothies and found that this was the closest. I had been meaning to stop by for a few months. The café is very cute, bright colors everywhere and very eclectic. They sell antiques as well as being a café. Michael welcomed us and was one of the most friendly people I’ve been helped by at a café or restaurant. Seriously, this kind of hospitality is rare in Portland. We only got smoothies but those smoothies were really good and hit the spot. The pastries in the case looked amazing so I will definitely be back to try them.

We got there right before they closed but they were nice enough to seat us. Very family home style feel we didn’t get to see the inside but the outdoor seating is chill. It’s set right in the middle of a nieghborhood so it feels like home and added plus I could see the moon coming up from where I was sitting. Added added plus the foods hit the spot! For 5 bux you get a protein and a s side I got two lol! Ribs ribs ribs greens greens greens yes yes yes! Oh the reason why we stopped by is we were hungrily looking for a place to eat as we drove by we smelled barbecue such a lovely promising smell and the food delivered. Such a nice little neighborhood spot p. s. they make a mean sugar free Italian soda as well. Thanks poshettes for the happy! When your done eating get the peach cobbler it’s outstanding.

Had my first visit to Poshettes today since their arrival to the neighborhood. The inside of this place is interesting as one side serves as a café serving coffee, teas, smoothies, and tasty baked goods. The other side has a lot of interesting art pieces and nick-nacks for sale. The service was fantastic and Michael was so nice and personable. I ordered an iced latte and could not resist taking one of their giant peanut butter cookies asking for the walk home. I was pleased with both the coffee and the cookie. They have some decent seating options outside, but could use for some additional tables inside. As a full time student I am always on the lookout for nice places to get some studying done. I was informed that they have BBQ from Poshines on the weekends and they stay open later those days. They are also in the process of obtaining their license to serve wine and beer.

I was really excited to see this new«coffee shop» in our neighborhood so I walked over to try it the other day. Michael is SONICE and I really appreciate his friendliness. I don’t entirely get this place, however — there’s no where to sit and there’s tons of stuff all over the place making it way too busy to even want to stop n’ look around — I don’t know, I guess I really just wish there were tables and chairs taking up all of that potentially AWESOME hang-out space. There *did* seem to be really nice seating outside, though! and in the shade in the afternoon/evening, which would be delightful — so I will return as I love the idea and the people running this place — I guess I’m just going to keep hoping(and keep my fingers crossed!) they turn it in to an *actual* coffee shop and not a trinket store where you can«get coffee and treats» with no where to sit. Please, guys, focus on the tasty treats and coffee and you will get a massive customer base — this area could REALLY, really use a coffee shop :-)

The coffee was good. Problems: lots of knick knacks, odd décor that felt too busy, glass cases displaying sets of fancy glassware. I thought this was a café. The pasteries were wrapped in plastic — obviously not fresh. How old were they? Its a mystery. I ate one and it was not good. Look, folks — if you want to succeed in this town, you’ve got to offer fresh food, good quality coffee, and a simple, clean store. The barista was nice, but when I enter a café, I am looking for coffee, and I’m not looking for someone to introdue themselves and shake my hand. Clear out the knick knacks and glassware, offer fresh pasteries that are clearly priced, and I might come back. I know I’m only one guy, but I know this town and I know cafes…
