Portland Waxing

Finding an awesome waxer is hard. Finding one to fit you and your husband in one long appointment is karma. Located in a quiet neighborhood, Portland Waxing is a gem of a find. Lisa is knowledgeable, clear on the processes and time flies while you chat. Her prices are reasonable, and other than it IS waxing, not a bad experience at all.

I would love to write a review about the actual services that I received but unfortunately I never even got the chance to get an appointment scheduled. I started calling Lisa on July 17^th maybe even a few days earlier, not only did she never call me back after leaving multiple messages which I know that she received because she confirmed that when I went in to her establishment. That’s right, I had to go to her office (on August 5^th) just to get in contact with her sadly. I do understand that life happens however when you’re in the beauty business and work for yourself, it’s very important to at least touch bases with your clients especially a potential client! This caused an inconvenience as I’m due to take a trip to Aruba on the 14^th of August and was forced to search through Unilocal reviews for a new esthetician in hopes that I come across someone that does superb work. I won’t even get into her condescending attitude while at her establishment because that in itself was rather appalling. I just recently located to Portland from Las Vegas, Nevada so to have that as a first experience was very discouraging. I am a very loyal customer so the way that I see it is she missed out on getting to know an amazing individual that would’ve came regularly until I relocated again in the future. Way to go Lisa!!!

Lisa is great. She really makes sure she gets all the hair off unlike some body waxers I’ve had in the past. Definitely one of the best body waxers in town.

Lisa is very professional and skillful. She is very knowledgeable about skin and hair growth. The salon is very open and light and well decorated. Highly recommend!

The most difficult decision that I had to make after moving to Portland involved choosing a body waxer. It’s not like finding a good coffee shop — there is a certain level of trust that must exist that relationship. I did the research and it led me to Lisa at Portland Waxing. She is part artist, part mad scientist, part counselor, part nurse, and most of all the best waxer that Portland has to offer.
