PDX Junk Out

PDX Junk Out did a fantastic job with our junk. They were prompt, courteous and very accommodating. Very friendly and easy to work with. I called them for a same-​day pickup and they were able to show up within an hour! wow! I kept remembering things that needed to go and he was very nice about it and very patient with me! They were very fast, clean and efficient. I would absolutely recommend calling them if you need a load of stuff hauled off.

These guys were quick and efficient. We had a ton of junk to get rid of before we put our house on the market that consisted of old rugs, bed frames, yard debris, and much more. They were in and out in about a half hour with a full truckload!

Perfect five stars! I relied on Unilocal when choosing these guys, so it’s the least I can do to pay it forward. They earned their five stars… and then some. I had an enormous job for them: cleaning out a construction site in the attic, a full basement, a garage, behind the garage and a spare bedroom. They showed up on time and were professional, polite and friendly — truly lovely people. They were done in three hours and it was flawless. The service they provided was invaluable and so worth the money — which comes at a very fair price. What they were able to accomplish in three hours would’ve taken me several back-​breaking weekends, a truck rental and numerous trips to the dump — and also probably my sanity. These guys work very hard, were honest, trustworthy and wonderful to work with. So impressed. I cannot recommend them any more highly.

These guys were FANTASTIC! I called them at about 9 am and wanted my stuff out ASAP. They happened to have an opening 30 minutes later and came to take our stuff away. Very professional, quick and friendly. I highly recommending using them if you have any trash /​junk /​recyclying to be picked up.

Trusted the other Unilocal reviews on this one; and and got burned pretty badly. Instead of asking these guys for a quote over the phone I just assumed they’d be competitive in terms of pricing. So I set up the appointment, they showed up right on time. I had leftover pile of gravel and a big pile of ripped out grass sod. The guy quotes me $ 800.00 to remove both (in two loads) which to be honest was about 4x what I was expecting.
I should have just turned them away right then, but I really wanted to get rid of at least half of it; so I ask him how much to just take the sod — it was still $ 400. I guess I felt the pressure of having called these guys out there, so I tell them to go ahead. After loading up about 2/​3s of the sod he says he’s full up. At this point I’m starting to feel like I’m getting taken pretty badly, paying $ 400 and they aren’t even clearing out the sod. The final red flag was that he offers to ‘help me out’ and throw some more on the truck for an extra $ 50. Wait, what?! You aren’t even fully loading up your truck for $ 400?!? At that point I was just done with them, and told them to just cash me out and leave.
So these guys do show up, and they do have nice uniforms but GET A QOUTE FIRST. I called around this morning and found that I could have had the whole load taken away for a fraction of the price. Don’t make the same mistake as me, call around and get other estimates because these guys are EXPENSIVE.

We had a lot of yard waste and a deck tear-​down in our backyard. I filled out the online request form on Saturday afternoon (Memorial Day weekend) and the scheduler called me on Sunday afternoon to firm things up for a Tuesday pickup.
I appreciated the communication from the guys prior to their punctual arrival. After showing them what needed to be loaded, they agreed that we had a full truck load (12×8×4 feet).
In two hours, the same number of guys had all the yard waste and wood loaded! They even cleaned up the areas that the piles had previously occupied. Julio and Jose were very friendly and did a fantastic job.
The high level of customer service from everyone involved with this company was great and I recommend them.

I needed an apartment cleaned out and found this company on Unilocal.They called to confirm our appointment that morning, showed up on time, did the job fast and efficiently, and they were really nice guys too! I’ll use them again.

We’re remodeling our house and boy is there a lot of waste material. I had no idea how to get rid of all this debris. Thankfully I found these guys online. Scheduling a pick up time was simple. The arrived on time, were exceptionally considerate, and they solved my problem. When the man told me the enormous pile in my garage would take 20 minutes to clear out I secretly doubted his estimate. They took exactly 20 minutes, got it all as discussed, and even swept up after. These people know how to get things done, no fuss.

The crew that came to my house were quick and efficient, not to mention professional and friendly! I would definitely recommend them.

These guys are great! I needed a mattress hauled over the weekend and called around to several places. Not only did they give me the best price over the competition, they were also punctual, fast, communicative, careful, and very friendly. Happy to support a local business, especially folks who give such excellent customer service. Would recommend them and will use them again if I ever need anything hauled.
