I’ve just found a new place to solve problems! I came to buy a headlight, thinking I would have to go home and figure out how to get it installed. A very helpful staff member named Evelyn not only found the headlight and something else I wanted, she came out in the dampness and installed the headlight for me. I’d never have gotten the job done without a lot of time, frustration, advice seeking, and a good bit of cussing. Thank you, Evelyn, and thank you O’Reilly Auto Parts for helping me out.

I came into this O’reilly location because it is closest to me and my check engine light had turned on while I was driving home from Boring, Or. My boyfriend and I came to the store to use their code reader to see why our engine light came on and found that it was a «cylinder 4 misfire» my boyfriend is pretty handy with cars but knowing this could be a few different things we called our mechanic and they were already closed. We went back into the store and asked the girl at the counter if she knew anything and her response was «you need to see a mechanic» and no other advise. We were standing in the front entrance calling any mechanic we could that was open on a Saturday night when another employee, Chris approached us and asked if he could help. We told him our situation and he instantly gave us 2 different things that could be causing it and we determined it was probably the spark plugs. He let us borrow all the necessary tools to change our plugs right there and even helped us to make sure we were okay with changing them ourselves. He came and checked on us a couple times and was extremely helpful. And it worked! Chris took the effort to help us solve the problem and saved us the money it would have cost to just have our car looked at by a mechanic. We are extremely lucky up have had Chris help us and will definitely return for any of our car part needs. I highly recommend coming here and hope that Chris is recognized for what great customer service he gives! It’s people like this that keep us coming back and we definitely will be back.

Rudest customer service in a long while. I just needed windshield wiper fluid and saw it by the door. Grabbed one and took it to the counter where an employee, apparently the only one there, continued his conversation with a customer who was opening a box. He never acknowledged that I was even there let alone offer to ring up my purchase. I stood there for several minutes while the employed tapped on his keyboard and chatted then when it was apparent that he was never going to help me, I put the product back and left. I never once got more than a fraction of a second of attention. I will never go back.
