The staff was very helpful even after I told them I was just trying to figure out what glasses I was going to order through my Optometrist.

This is the first Oakley store that I have visited in a mall. The other branches I have visited are at outlet locations and the main headquarters in SoCal. After going to this shop, I know that I will not be coming here again.
There are 2 reasons why I will not be returning here. The prices are much more expensive here compared to their outlet locations! Still, I may have been convinced to splurge if someone had assisted me. When I walked into the store, the two clerks on duty quickly looked at me then turned away. No greeting or anything. All I got were snobby frowns. Appears that they judged me as not worthy of acknowledgement, and I was not worth helping.
I will purchase Oakley products elsewhere. Because of my experience here, I think that this particular store is awful!

I have a Love Hate relationship with this Oakley store located in the Washington Square Mall.
I love the fact that they always have the latest releases, plenty of stock, and a lot of signature items many other stores don’t carry.
I hate the fact that is so freaking expensive. Yes, I know you get what you pay for but a savy online shopper can buy used or discounted items on Ebay all the time! It’s hard for me to shell out $ 100 or more for a pair of sunglasses…
3 stars? I guess the laid back, don’t seen to care to much staff they have their. But I guess it’s Oakley and we need to act cool…

Cool store inside Washington Square. You can customize the sunglasses with interchangeable parts. Next time I need another pair of good sun glasses I will go back to the Oakley store.

The young man who helped me was very nice and informative. I told him I was there to try on the frames because my optometrist’s office carried a limited number of frames for prescription sunglasses. I also told him once I find a frame I will order through my doctor’s office. He very well knew that I may not be a paying customer at his store, but he still gave me excellent customer service, was very resourceful, knew a lot about the varying lens types and frames. I would come back even to get prescriptive sunglasses.
…So it’s been a few days and I went back to make a purchase. The guy I liked was not there! Instead, guess who was there to help me? The kind of guys that really get under my skin. The duuuuuuude-I-think-I’m-paid-to-look-good-and-to-hang-out-with-my-friends-when-they-come-and-visit-me-oh-yeah-there’s-a-customer-that’s-been-here-for-five-minutes-and-I-just-remembered-my-job-is-to-help-them-but-I’m-going-to-half-ass-my-efforts – so – I’m – cool-and-life-is-just-one-big-joke-I’m-going-to-move-to-California-because-my-whole-life-is-about-skating-boarding-or-surfing kind of person drives me nuts! He didn’t even help me! He handed me off to another guy (he was a little bit better) so that he can go stand at the front of the store and people watch the mall population. UGH I wanted to slap that person.
