This place needs an overhaul. We used them two years in a row. The first year, we had this experience: when we couldn’t get the same person to help us that we spoke with on the phone and had confidence in, even though he was there that day, the person who took our order made several errors. When we came in to pick up our suit, there were errors made and we had to wait a long time while they were fixed. The following year, the manager called me to see if my son wanted to «sell» for them again and I told her I had no intention of using the service again because it was so problematic the first time. We were offered us a large credit to use if we wanted to try the service again. It was a nice gesture, and it was enough for us to consider using them again, despite the previous negative experience. Then, fast forward to this year — we had more errors! My son had to wait 30 minutes for the correction of the error AGAIN. I was under the impression that we would be getting white glove treatment. We did not. The day before the prom, there were only two employees helping a room full of customers. The one I spoke to had trouble with the math and wanted to charge us more than what we had in credit plus a $ 50 discount card. I’m through with this business. Never again.

Joseph is very knowledgable, helpful and goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied, even in an unusual or time sensitive situation.

I had been emailing with Veronica for almost 2 weeks setting up an appointment and discussing options, so imagine my surprise when I showed up for our meeting to be told her shift was ending and some other person would help. Why not reschedule the meeting? We were in constant email communication! The gentleman who helped me wasn’t current on his price points and then told me the ONLYWAY we could how see how any item looked was if we paid a non-refundable $ 40. This is outrageous! To rent a vest for a day is around $ 35, I left and went to Macy’s and found a better quality vest that I could BUY for $ 30. Would definitely not recommend using this location. If they can’t schedule a basic meeting for us to look at the items, how can I trust they will communicate and accurately schedule items for my big day?

I think they did an outstanding job, with a price tag to match – which took me down to 4 stars, otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Our situation was as follows: my Junior year son decided last minute to go to the prom. Which meant that we arrived at the store two days before the actual prom event. They totally fitted him out, even still ironing other pants in back while we trying to get the correct size/shape ratio for him. So he was a happy customer, and we shared the cost. Apparently if you order the costume a week beforehand, it is less expensive. As we came from Europe where there is no prom held which require a costume, I did not know that.

Spent $ 200 on a tuxedo for prom and when I found a huge stain on it the day of prom they wanted to charge a $ 40 handling fee. This is the year after I rented from them and had the bottom of my shoe rental straight fall off when I was dancing. No apology offered was the icing on the cake.

My son went there to rent a tux for his upcoming senior prom. He was very professionally and patiently helped by a young women there, I believe her name was Brooke or Veronica. After he returned home with the receipt I thought the price was a bit high. Called the store and the young women suggested she could get the price down by switching out a jacket very similar to the one he picked. She had to cancel out my order, credit, then re-bill. This was all right around closing time. Very helpful.

My boyfriend and I came in here to get his suit for a wedding after sub-par service from the location in Cedar Hills. We worked with Kalila, who was AMAZINGLY helpful. She pretty much had to get him and entirely new outfit because the Cedar Hills store had measured my bf so poorly. It was great because this location has the warehouse, which means they have much bigger selection of sizes. Kalila remeasured him, got him clothes that fit better, and even went back to the warehouse multiple times to get different sizes in order to make him more comfortable. He’s a big guy, so it was hard finding things that fit well, but she was absolutely great helping us, spending about an hour getting everything perfect.

My wedding was booked through this company and it affiliates Première wedding services. We hired them to do photography and groom and groomsmen suits. The fitting went fine as far as I know but make sure you don’t joke around because the female who waited on my fiancé was annoyed with our groomsmen party. The WORST thing about this company is that they are highly disorganized, when you go in to finalize the photography, you need to select the photographer that you want. I selected and found out nearly a month later that the person I selected was not assigned to my wedding and that I needed to chose another photographer. Another problem was that I got correspondence from multiple different people who did not know what was going on or return phone calls. I am praying that my wedding does not have anymore hiccups but to be honest, I am very nervous.

This place is great if you are a high school kid and don’t care about the quality, fit and feel of a tuxedo.

Friendly quick service, pick and and drop off took less than 5 minutes. Although, for a place called Mr. Formal, they don’t address their customers as Sir and Ma’am, which isn’t very formal at all.

While the rest of the country debates the insanity of the GOP caucus, global warming, & various & sundry Asian economies, our household has been plunged into the wonder that is the Winter Formal. Our son who, previously had been oblivious to these teenage rites of passage, has recently divulged that he is, in fact, attending the Franklin High School Winter Formal. Huh… who’d’a thunk? The young lady in question apparently purchased her own ticket as well as flowers. When queried as to why she was in need of an escort at all, Son #1 replied, «To have someone to dance with.» Um…okay. Except that he doesn’t dance. Well, nevermind… with only 4 days to go until said Big Event, I did my parental duty & took the budding Tony Manero to Mr. Formal. We did get slapped with the«Rush» fee($ 15.00), which, if he were paying himself, my attitude would be «Serves you right for waiting till the last minute». But since I’m footing the bill, it’s a wee bit annoying since I am convinced there is not much call for a charcoal gray suit to fit a 6′ tall, 120# 15 year old wearing size 12 shoes… The point is, at the last minute, there were options, the young women working there were extremely tolerant & helpful, & this is a perfectly fine place to rent formal wear. Honestly, it’s my one & only time in a place like this… my Dad owned his own tux & his own white dinner jacket(hello Rat Pack!)…dates of mine to the Junior Prom & Senior Ball handled this themselves, & for both of my own personal nuptials, no formal wear was involved… As these things go, I’d recommend Mr. Formal. They have suits & all manner of clothing for these specialized needs. The total cost set me back $ 143.00, which, while not budgeted for January, still seems reasonable for a young man’s Winter Formal happiness… ah, such dreams are made of this… I suppose.
