Ginger lime macaroon — so good and only a dollar! I’m going back for the homemade ice cream sandwich next time I pass it, and I have room.

I miss eating breakfast here in the summer. One of the first Portland food carts, and still one of the best.

LOVE! Their elixirs are a God-send. I now crave one overy morning. The chedder biscuits are delicious in any combination. I could eat the biscuits plain all day long… Wished it was closer to my house!

I stopped in yesterday morning and had a cheddar biscuit with egg and smoked salmon. I swear I could taste the love in every bite. It was magical. Really one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. Nice people working there too. Highly recommended.

Try the cheddar biscuit with smoked salmon. $ 5.50 so good but a bit pricy. But don’t let the size fool you, its filling. The buckwheat waffle with banana and home made whip cream $ 6, super good. Also, don’t let the size fool you. Best shake for a long bike ride, Rx = banana + almond + soy milk + agave + protein stuff. $ 4.50, kind of pricy but it is filling. I wish everything was at least $.50 less.

We tried about half the menu and none of it disappointed. So, I think it’s safe to conclude that EVERYTHING on the menu is good. From the Swell sandwich to the Mexicali smoothie… it was a great way to begin the day.

Love this place — very unique food cart — seems more like a roadside diner with really high quality baked goods and drinks. I always get the breakfast sandwich with salmon — will not disappoint. Their mexican iced coffee is also a treat. Come on a sunny day, get some breakfast and just lounge on the surrounding yard and do some people watching. My idea of a great weekend!

I scoped this place out during LAST year’s Portland trip; I went to Gravy down the street, but saw this awesome adorable little trailer/food stand that looked like it was right up my alley. Now, a year later, I finally found myself in Portland once again and couldn’t wait to try it out. It was more than I could have hoped for! Every rustic little piece of wood has been so lovingly placed, and we were super cozy inside the ‘shack’ extending from the trailer, even though the day was cold and drizzly. Our last day in Portland, it was HERE that we decided to spend the last hours before our flight. The juices! OMG the juices. I want a juicer like they have. I’m not a huge healthy juice fan, but these were awesome. I first tried the ginger/pineapple/cucumber combination, and my bf had a coconut milk/mango concoction. Our next visit we tried the kale/mint/apple/lemon and the berries/milk/granola combinations. All 4 juices were TODIEFOR. Frothy, fresh, perfectly balanaced, and unlike a smoothie — full of sugary yogurts etc — these drinks were completely refreshing, light and particularly good for a hangover. We tried 3 out of 4 things on the menu, plus 3 different pastries, and all I can say is the Cheddar Biscuit sandwich is killer, the prosciutto bfast sandwich is killer, the Eggs & greens are killer, and their pastries are simply HEAVENLY. The juices are served in cute rustic jars, there was quaint music in the background… and even on a Sunday at 1:00 they were anything but crowded, unlike most Portland brunch places. I hope they start doing more business, but it was really nice not having to compete for seats. This was one of my favorite dining experiences ever!

When my bf first decribed this place to me(because I didn’t know we were talking about the same place). He said there’s this place his ex-gf took him to and he waited for her there while she went to get a coffee next door. When she came back he was just getting a sandwich handed to him and she said«That’s your second one isn’t it!?» Course she was right. If I ever had a food cart, it would look exactly like Moxie. It has vintage kitchen acessories strewn about, window shutters for magazine racks, a bakery counter, cute hand written menu signs, and it’s just about the coolest looking thing ever. I’ve really only had one menu item, but a few times now. We always come straight from Son of Flavour Spot, so it’s hard to order anything more. We always each get a biscuit sandwich. The bf gets bacon and I get smoked salmon. The crumbly moist cheesy biscuit surrounds a freshly cooked fluffy egg and either crispy salty bacon or smoky tender salmon. It may seem small as I nibble at it like a squirrel on a nut in my paws, but it’s perfectly filling and always exactly what I want. Doesn’t hurt that the ladies I’ve seen work here are always really sweet and patient too!

Best muff in town! I heart everything on the menu. Absolutely no complaints, except it does totally suck when the weather shuts’er down.

Is the Moxie cart the pinnacle of human achievement? Maybe I shouldn’t say something so dramatic about a little trailer that makes juice and breakfast. Just kidding, it totally is.

Struggling to comprehend my latest injury & awaiting a chiropractic appointment, I chanced upon Moxie RX& my day got brighter. The trailer itself is beyond clever– just a perfect setting all ’round: trailer, some tables, a cool selection of magazines, & a sunny day. The juices, elixirs, & snacks all sounded delicious. I opted for a drink with apple juice, lemon, royal jelly, and bee pollen… it revived me! It was pretty darn close to miraculous! Now, if only they’d come up with a tonic that fixes torn rotator cuffs, I’d be there every day! They are closed for a couple of days, but the sign says they will be back 18 August. This is a spot worth seeking out.

Such a great find. They are open Friday thru Monday(summer hours) according to their website. The salmon egg cheese on a biscuit thing was amazing. Their biscuits are flakey, their staff isn’t, and the date scone thingies with goat cheese my friend had were so tasty. Love this little place, great outdoor seats and super friendly staff. Quality.

Oh little Moxie. The coolest vintage trailer turned industrial kitchen I’ve seen in years. Awesome elixers and tonics(like the Hangover Cure) made from fresh fruit and veggies in interesting combinations. Best for snacks(biscuits, finger sandwhiches and cookies) and juice. I still haven’t figured out the hours yet… they don’t seem to be regular. Oh and be prepared to fork over between 3 and 4 dollars for a juice. I know, it seems like high way robbery, but it is well WORTHIT.
