I really like the beer here. I don’t love the service set up of ordering everything at bar and bussing your own stuff, but I do understand that model of business for a casual pub. I love their sturdy dart boards. Creative cork usage. They are not very roomy where they are but totally work and even better if you are only ones back there. These boards are solid. Food menu has expanded over time which is nice to see, but nothing I’ve had has wowed me all that much. Everything I’ve had has been good enough to fill the beer belly though. I know they do specials for Timbers and Blazers if you are into that sort of thing… which I’m usually unpatriotically not all that interested :) but you might be. I enjoy all kinds of music, but today grew anxious in a — I want to leave right now are you people messing with me??? kind of way — because it got way way repetitive and loud. I love Black Sabbath as much as any self respecting person who came of age in the 80s but cmon now people… Just because I like anchovies doesn’t mean I want to eat the whole can of them. Know what I’m saying? A little goes a long way sometimes. Too much Ozzy is simply too much Ozzy. I’m trying to balance the like and dislike in this review because there is lots to like here. Lots! And I teeter totter it with dislikes. But it’s certainly more like than dislike. Oh boy, are you enjoying my usage of big complicated words today? Like like and dislike? I think my brain has officially melted. June 5th and second straight day of 100ish heat… add a couple of beers and I am a bonafide genius. tl;dr? me like it here more than no like it here. Go drink the beer here it’s good.

I can’t rate their food(yet), but their beer, customer service, and indoor/outdoor seating options each get easy 5 out of 5! I have yet to have a beer here that I would not gladly drink again. My favorites are Clem’s Cream Ale and Migration Pale Ale. Both go down so crisp and fresh while soaking in the summer sun on their outdoor patio. Treat yourself with $ 8 growlers on Sundays and $ 3 pints on Mondays.

I was pleasantly surprised by not only the quality of the food but also the beer. I would definitely throw their Mac n Cheese in my top 5. The gringo bowl was also amazing and nice for something different than the typical bar food you find everywhere. I wasn’t expecting much from the beer, as I hadn’t heard a lot about it, and if there is one thing about Portland beer drinkers is that they like to over hype everything they drink. I was really impressed. I had the belgian ipa and for a nearly 8% beer with around 75 ibus it was really really smooth. The Migration Pale Ale(MPA) was perfect for the blazing day we wandered in on.

I have such a hard time with Migration because they are my litmus test for average. They beers are good, but in no way blows you away and not so bad you would rather drink PBR. The same goes with the food, prices, etc. They have deals during sport games, but have essentially one large TV and two smaller ones, but are in such as way that it’s essentially one TV per«room/area». It doesn’t blare extremely loud, but a little too quiet. They don’t stand out in anyway, just kind of meh. It’s always my fall to place whenever I don’t care where I go, I’m nearby, something other than«it’s my first choice». They are just… average.

Migration’s outdoor seating is one of the best, but I can’t justify giving it more than three stars overall. We’ve been here several times for beers in the sun. Since we have frequented it for that purpose, it obviously has some redeeming qualities, but there is nothing super memorable about this place, aside from the patio. We ate there for the first time last night. I got what I thought wouldn’t be a too difficult order: a banh mi with no aioli and a side salad. My fiancé ordered the pulled pork banh mi. They brought out our food completely wrong. Mine was a veggie patty banh mi with aioli(the standard is chicken, with an option of changing it to veggie or pulled pork). They also didn’t bring our side salads. Since I couldn’t do both veggie patty and aioli, I did tell our waitress what I had ordered and she politely took it back. When she brought back what she thought was the correct order, it was still all wrong. I can’t blame her because she heard me and repeated what I said I had ordered, so maybe the cook was feeling overwhelmed with how busy it was. I hate being the person who keeps returning food, so I toughed it out and ate it. It wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great. The salads, once they finally brought them out, were pretty pathetic, too. I’m bummed it has to be this way, Migration, but I’m sure we’ll be back for the atmosphere. We’ll just have to satisfy our hunger elsewhere.

The beer and food here is fresh and delicious. Their patio is super comfortable, I only with they had highchairs for our little one.

I stopped by here for a couple of beers with friends while we waited for a table across the street at Pambiche. I found the service to be nice and friendly and the beers were a-ok. The beer I went with was their Old Silenus Strong Ale. It was good and while this may not be a destination brewery for me, I’d have no problem coming here again if in the area.

Wonderful place to enjoy the sunshine and wide array of darn fine beers. Headed down here with my family and friends on a sunny Sunday and was really quite happy with their décor and beverage selection. The menu is steamlined to offer the essentials in brewpub fare and to good results. The Migration Burger is absolutely fantastic and a nice variant on the classic pub burger. The fries, which I believe are house made, were quite good and disappeared from my plate much quicker than I realized. Out party also ordered the chips and salsa which came with a homemade guacamole which was a bit on the salty side for me, but nice and chunky. Seating is more than ample(indoor/outdoor) and can accommodate just about any size party you want to bring within reason. Bear in mind, though, that all ordering would be at the Bar area, so don’t wait for someone to come take your order. A welcome location with much to offer.

Hey, Migration… you’re not THAT cool. Seriously. Every interaction with a «server»(a stretch) was super shitty. If you hate working there, or the service industry, do us all(and the owners) a solid and bail. The ONLY reason I bestow 2 stars is because I still enjoyed the brew,(the Glisan St. was delectable) and I like that I can bring my dogs and chill here on a sunny day. My $ 16 nachos, after I added pork and guac($ 2 each) was SAD. Jesus. I know I’m jaded by my interactions with the less than charming crew, but… If you want the hometown business, don’t be a dick.

Stopped by for some late night beering. Great selection and patio for late night drinking. Staff was attentive. Next time I’m in Portland, I’ll be back.

I have to say that this was a bit of a lack luster experience. The nachos were good nothing spectacular just some black beans and jalapeños with some cheese salsa and a sour cream drizzle. I was also a little frustrated with the discussion of the beer. I asked specifically about there Glisan street isa and they just said oh it’s a session ale and that was it. So I also use an app called untapped that I use to track my beers and I put in the Glisan street isa and it comes up as this dry hop one and I asked is this the dry hop they said yes. I wouldn’t have minded but I like to try new beers all the time. Had they told me it was the dry hop versus just saying it’s an isa I would have been better informed. I tried there isa as well and just wasn’t overly impressed. I don’t think that I will be going back here on my own accord but if someone wants to go here I’ll tag along

This is a busy place, at least it was when I visited. You had to wait for a table to clear. Granted if the weather had been nice then everyone could have just sat on their large patio out front. The burgers are good. But skip the chicken sandwich.

The atmosphere is laid back, casual, and group friendly. Every Monday they have beer specials, as well as for Blazer games. Dart boards are in the back, if that’s your game. The bartenders are always friendly. They recently started serving cocktails, which is a pleasant surprise. Come in for a beer, and watch games on any of their 3 televisions. They have AMAZING outdoor seating so when the weather is nice you can enjoy being outside. You can fill up your growers here as well. I just moved to the NE area and this is a very good spot to make your ‘neighborhood’ bar. I would like to see some more variety on the menu as far as eating goes, but from what they do serve, they do it right.

Excellent meatball sub(because it was spicy), BEST fries, only drank Luscious Lupulin IPA and it was 4.5÷5. Would give 4.5 stars overall because outdoor seating was a little loud on Glisan but rounded up to 5…

All of the places on my «brew tour» have features that rise to the top, not to mention the abundance of great beer! Flights, yes of course, do that. Enjoy their patio, which I think is one of the best I’ve found. There’s also ample and comfortable space inside if the weather isn’t cooperating. The gems behind the bar were super helpful here too. The Dry Hop Pale was memorable, as was the Terry’s Porter.

A fantastic neighborhood brew pub with their own brewed beer and excellent food. The usual assortment of burgers on the menu but also some plates such as steak frites or an assortment of salads. With the Rolling Stones playing in the background and NCAA basketball on the large(70″?) TV I am enjoying their excellent«gringo bowl». An excellent dish of brown rice, black beans, serrano peppers, tomatoes, and onions. I added chicken to my bowl. A fantastic spicy meal accessorized with a side of amazing house made tortilla chips and accompanied by a pint of their Migration Pale Ale.

This is a great little spot that I got the opportunity to try out because I went to an event for graphic designers. They had a little food spread for us and since there was a Blazers game going on, it was a buck off beers. I am a dark beer guy and the Terry Porter is what I had. Really nice beer. Smooth and very mellow. They had some veggie plates, olives and food wrapped in bacon. I was happy with that option. The actual menu items look pretty good too, but maybe on another occasion. Overall a nice place with friendly staff who were willing to get the porter from the other bar area so I and others could enjoy it.
