Not that great a venue for NBA Playoffs, half the screens are on regular MLS and MLB. This is the playoffs, get with it lightning grill. Oh i forgot to mention there back area, ¼ of premises does not have A/C.

Nothing special here, wouldn’t come here for food. However, this was a great place to watch the warriors game because the owners have some association with the bay area. Lots of screens(even projector). I had a burger, was solid nothing special. Nothing bad either.

My girlfriend and I came here on a Thursday evening with the intention to watch the Golden State Warriors against the Spurs basketball game. Great decision! Rae is great! She happily took our order at the bar as we waited for someone to clear the bar. My girlfriend got a blackberry cider and I got a red rye ale. Shortly after we got our drinks, Rae offered us dinner menus. We ordered the Duck & Pork Belly Tacos and the Steak Sandwich with onion rings. While we waited for the food to arrive, we enjoyed the game in a quiet atmosphere :) Rae was attentive in making sure that we had what we needed and that we were enjoying ourselves. Thanks Rae! When our food arrived, the portions were bigger than we expected and it looked and smelled delicious. The tacos were plated in three and they were garnished nicely. Rae suggested we try them with sriracha and we were happy with her recommendation. The meat was tender and the arugula added a nice peppery bite. The sriracha was a nice balancing flavor. For the next dish we had the sandwich. The onion rings were tasty and the steak was tender and flavorful! The sandwich had a generous slathering of parsnip purée, arugula, and caramelized onions. The combination of all four components were a winner. The bread was buttered and nicely toasted as well! If you’re wanting a nice laid back atmosphere with some sports on tv and a stocked whiskey selection, this is a go to. As a bonus, they have games like pool, shuffleboard, foosball, etc in the back room! Overall great place on all accounts! We will return for more :)

This is my fav watering hole. No pretense, good drinks and good food. Great service, great staff. I love the neighborhood. Usually has some games on TV, usually the local teams

The brunch is worth it for the $ 10 bottomless mimosas, and friendly service! Oh, and no line which is unheard of in Portland. I had the smokers club for $ 12, which wasn’t bad. I’d go back to try something else. I’ll give it the four stars for the bottomless drinks and service. :)

Great beer selection with about 50 taps, super friendly service. A stoner sports bar taproom, what’s not to love?

Found this place on valentines day on Open Table for brunch. No need to make reservations through Open Table, as they don’t use it to check people in. I ordered rhe chicken and waffles which was ok. The atmosphere was a nice pub/bar feel, music people just hanging. Fairly priced.

Super friendly staff and the burger was delicious. I was really impressed with their extensive beer, cider and mead taps! Dogfish Head, Boneyard, Two Towns, Nectar Creek, Breakside, etc. What more could one ask for? Looking forward to spending time here pregaming Timbers/Thorns season !

I come here almost every Sunday with my friends for the friendly service, bottomless mimosas, brunch, and Sunday football. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and it’s quickly become my go-to spot for brunch with friends. The brunch menu has some great options to choose from, and everything I’ve tried is delicious(biscuits & gravy are my favorite). I’ve always gotten my money’s worth with the mimosa + brunch deal. Staff regularly comes to top you off, and they’re so friendly and welcoming that it feels like you’re eating brunch at a friend’s house. I’d name the staff that have been awesome, but they’re all great. :)

Great place to watch the game and get bottomless mimosas. The chicken and waffles is awesome $ 12. Comes with three mini waffles and two prices of chicken. The croque madammit(Gruyère-mustard mornay, brioche, egg batter $ 10. Avoid the«Big Mac». It’s sounds amazing with poblano, white cheddar, bacon & shallot– but it is a huge disappointment– I had to send it back. There is barley any pepper or bacon the cheese is nasty. AVIOD. They need to improve it– since it is such an easy dish! Everything else is good.

I agree with Chris V. That was the best burger I’ve ever had! I will be going back to this. Before now I’d only ever stopped in for beer and a game of pool, but now I’ll be back for the burger. My husband has the Ménage and it was also amazing! I live a few blocks from here and I am just upset I hadn’t tried the burger before. Excellent service! The chef came out to check on us, our bartender was awesome! I don’t know why people are leaving bad reviews… Oh yeah people just like to complain. Whatever, I’ll be back.

For those that judge the place on the food, agreed it is not the standard«bar fare», fair enough, each to their own. However, those that call out the burger, have you had a good burger before? This isn’t McDonald’s, this is the real thing, and for someone like myself that’s incredibly picky(living in NYC for 14 years totally ruined me) this is literally one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Except for the first time I was there and the waitress said she was new probably 5 times, no matter what we said to her, the staff is great! Keep up the good work guys!

The service is okay. The food is not good(awful, in fact, and expensive for what you’re getting). I regret every time I give them a chance for food. Things I’ve eaten thus far: *Duck phở(no. Just no. I get that I’m Viet and possibly picky, but it is inedible). *Pigs in a blanket(nothing special. At all). *Brussel Sprouts(meh. Lacking in taste). *Fig salad(Or I think it was fig. How can you get this so wrong? It was 5 – 6 small fig-like fruits on a long plate with balsamic on top. Weird texture, and no taste except for the kick of balsamic). But the bar? Cool spot. The bartender is wonderful and quick(so it’s not on her that the food’s terrible) and the drinks are good. Also, for some reason whenever I’m in the area and walking by there doesn’t seem to be anyone inside unless there was an event nearby(like a game at the Stadium).

Only good thing here is the beer selection and the nice bartender. Not a good happy hour. My coworkers and I decided to come here because they have a pretty good beer selection and it’s $ 5 a beer. Reasonable. I ordered the happy hour cubana, caesar salad, burger, and mini mac. The cubana is rolled up and about the size of a cigar. Decent flavor but you are done in two bites. The caesar salad is about half a serving; not really a happy hour deal if you are serving about four bites of a salad. The burger was pretty flavorless and only comes with potato chips at happy hour. Potato chips were soggy. The burger has a slice of lettuce and nothing else. The mini mac although a good size service is really a mini mac. It’s not a mac and cheese as there was very little if any cheese in it. We had a party of 13 and I understand that that you couldn’t split the bill and still charge18% gratuity when 80% of the bill was drinks. What bothered me was our server approached me after nine of us had left to tell us that the check was short. He should have known this when he collected the cash and ran everyone’s credit card. I didn’t realize until after I left that he had charged us for something that they ran out of(he even acknowledged it). But since I was the first there I paid the difference and moved on. Our total was over $ 300. At the end of the day, there are plenty of places with a great beer selection and nice bartenders in the area. There is no reason to come here and I’m definitely not coming back.

Let the chef choose for you . Everything is awesome. We had the ménage a tois, the filet melted in your mouth and the sauces knocked it out if the park. The phở with duck was incredible. Best meal I’ve had in such a comfortable atmosphere in this city. Staff isn’t pretentious but still care about their craft. Have you seen their tap list? Great service to compliment everything. 5 stars all around.

2nd day coming here to eat and drink and it is so worth it. These people do beer and food right. Nice interior, great service. The burger is delicious especially with the fried egg Menage a tois, three tender melt in your mouth chunks of tenderloin and sauces to try with them. Phen-nom nom nom al Phở-ck, a flavorful duck phở, was perfect Pigs in a blanket was a creative and delicious small bite Im a huge fan of their fries too. As my guy aptly put f-ck these Unilocalers with bad reviews, they were so wrong.

This place does brunch right! Three tv’s above the bar, six total. Mimosas: bottomless $ 10!!! Or buy the bottle of prosecco! Food is incredible! We’ve eaten here on every visit(even when we came just for drinks). Today I had the vegetarian frittata. LOVED it! There are so many meat choices but they are great to work with vegetarians. LW is local and independent. Beer drinker? You’ll be really impressed! I was thrilled to see Racer 5 on tap! They have Belgians and ciders too! They’re packed on game nights! This is perfect for football Sunday! Ask for Randy, he’ll take good care of you!

This place has foosball and shuffleboard. That is awesome. Good beer selection and the bar tender was super friendly. But don’t eat here. Super weird menu and nothing was even close to worth the price. I got the smoked meats plate of mystery meat(no one seemed to know what meats were included) for $ 12. It came with three small pieces of each the of meat. The flavor was okay, but it was served cold. Cold pork tenderloin and wild boar(eventually someone told me what the meats were) were weird and kind of gross, unless your into cold smoked meat. The smoked sea bass tasted just like beef jerky, if that gives you some idea of how over smoked it was. I could only bring myself to eat one piece of each meat.

Nicely prepared food, great beer tap list and bar and an amazing selection of bar games: pinball, arcade, shuffleboard, pool, and foosball. I wish the branding was better, the place is worth checking out. You just wouldn’t guess it from the sign. –update! They re-did the branding! New favorite dish is the ménage a trois, steak served rare on hot rock with three different sauces. The burger is also ridiculous, go for the Gouda and bacon. Great spot.

Was in town from the bay area this past weekend visiting a friend and decided to check this place out since we were staying near by and we were both starving. We sat at the bar and was pretty impressed to see a good craft beer selection. We had some trouble deciding between all of them so I asked the bartender for recommendations and he was nice enough to give us some tasters of a couple we narrowed it down to. I ended up going with the Abominal Snowman which I guess is pretty popular in Portland since i ended up seeing it a few other places in town. The food menu was a bit different than what I expect when I go into a bar. Usually I expect to see mostly burgers, wings, and other fried apps, but they had a pretty good variety of stuff like pastas, chicken dinners, pot roast. I decided on the Winner Winner chicken dinner which was breaded in corn flakes, served with mashed potatoes(with skin), and a cheddar jalopeno biscuit. Our food came out quicker than I expected. The chicken was moist, had a good crunch to it, good mash, and great biscuits which i used to soak up the gravy and pesto aioli. My friend had the Spaghetti O’s and meatballs which i tried a little of. It looked like cut up rigatoni into small rings, had a pretty good sauce, and I really liked the meatballs. It was kind of a throw back to when I was a kid since the food looked similar, but I’m just glad the taste didn’t haha. We ended up going back the next night for dinner since we really liked the food and wanted to watch some hockey. I wasn’t really sure how that would pan out since I have no idea how hockey is perceived in Portland and there was a Trailblazers game on. We decided to ask anyways and they were nice enough to turn the sharks game for us since they had plenty of other TV’s on the Trailblazers game. They also had a pub crawl come through that night which filled the place up quickly. I kind of wish I knew about it ahead of time so I could of brought a ugly Christmas sweater and joined them
