They moved the ball field to the park. Didn’t ask the locals. Spent tons of tax money. Now they have a slightly nicer ball field than they had in the same place they had a ball field before. Nice way to spend money. Worth it? Probably not. They have bathrooms if a formally approved game is going. They have drug dealers if no game is being played. They have a water fountain that’s on sometimes. They have a small concession stand that is only open when formal games occur. Next to busy Holegate so can’t let the kids wander. We shall see if they leave it alone for a bit.

The new ball fields at Lents Park are beautiful and the Lents Little League concession stand makes an afternoon at the park into a real event. The kids are great, the games are fun to watch and the nacho cheese is always hot!
