The location is actually great: just off the beaten path down Alberta. The service is really what drive my review down. The barista was snarky, and was very uninterested in promptly answering my questions. The coffee is in fact very good, but the menu is small. The prices are reasonable. The crowd that inhabits the building is eclectic and diverse.

You drive by Legend and you just aren’t sure. Is this a bar? A café? A diner? Huh. Are they open. Note if the chalk board is outside with a welcome message. But trust the tips of locals on this one… this is a spot-​on stop for a cup of joe (Batdorf and Bronson) and an egg. Oh yeah.
And when I mention egg I mean eggs. And I mean that you have your choice of eggs. Eggs and cheese on a with bagel. Egg, cheese and a biscuit. Green eggs is some healthy Oregon tofu dish. The menu won’t bowl you over with tremendous options but neither will the bill. About $ 6 a person a breakfast to eat there or on the go.
