Really though, I thought this place was delicious. I had the spicy tinga tacos with a side of sour cream and a horchata and it was all so yummy. Perfectly spicy and the horchata was creamy and not too much cinnamon. I’m already craving these tacos and I just finished eating! Plus the guy who took my order was so nice and he remembered my name and addressed me by it. Which is a plus to me. Great customer service.

not really a fan of their burritos. gave it a 3rd try with the tacos and that was also ho-hum. if you’re going to this foodcart pod, i’d suggest going somewhere else.

All I’ve had here are the $ 1.50 tacos — filled chicken and carnitas. They are always super fresh and tasty. I could eat a whole plate of them. I think I will come back on Thursday and do just that. Not sure why this place has low ratings — maybe you guys should try the $ 1.50 tacos.

I tried out some tacos this evening, and was very happy. The price was right($ 1.50 each), and they were pretty darn good. I’d like to give it a 5-star, but it didn’t quite blow me away. I’d go back if I had a hankering for some tacos.

I eat here at least once a week sometimes twice. Awesome food that is served by the nicest lady! The burritos are big but not the humongous burritos you find at other places which is fine by me. $ 4.50 gets you a burrito and a coke… can’t go wrong.

Went here for a taco treat and was quite disappointed. I ordered veggie tacos. They each came with a dollop of refried beans and a few pieces of queso fresco. For $ 2 each! Will go to another cart next time…

Filling and tasty. Las Locheritas served me my first torta in the States. I cannot compare it to other tortas in Portland, just yet. However, Los Locheritas’ torta was huge! The sandwich tasted clean, fresh and non-greasy. The bread provided enough support for the bountiful inerds. I recommend Las Locheritas based on their tortas. I was sad to find that when I returned in October, the truck was no where to be seen. Where are you hiding?

It’s not often that you find vegan and vegetarian options at Mexican carts.(Well, perhaps you do, but it’s not often that I do — hence the extra star on top of the well-deserved 3 I’d planned to give.) I was pretty pleased with my tofu taco and soyrizo taco. They were pleasantly spicy and just filling enough, and only cost $ 3.50 or so. It was around 2pm on a sorta rainy Saturday afternoon, so the carts were all pretty empty and my order didn’t take too long to fill. I could see how things would move pretty slowly on a crowded day… but doesn’t that just mean that the food is going to be fresh and amazing? «Cart» does not have to equal«fast» in my book.

I came in with high hopes for this place, since apparently it will be the only taco truck allowed at the Good Food Here pod on Belmont. And that’s a damn shame. I wish I could write a review of the food, but I NEVERRECEIVEDMYORDER. My wife and I stepped up to order from the cute little girl helping her parents run their business. She could not have been more than eight years old, and took quite a while to write down our order, and longer still to calculate the total and figure out our change. It was a hot day, so we retreated to the shady bench behind the truck to wait. And wait. Twenty minutes go by, several people behind us receive their order, and still nothing for us. Finally my wife goes up and asks, and the little girl looks around and realizes that she never gave our order to her parents to prepare the food. So we got our money back, cursed them for wasting our time, and went home hungry. I don’t care if they make the best tacos on the planet, I refuse to go back to this place. It’s a blatant disregard for their customers, and a violation of Oregon’s labor laws, to have a little kid trying to manage the front of the house(er, truck).

In the brand-spankin’ new food cart pod at 43rd and Belmont sits a shiny silver bus, Las Loncheritas, serving up all the usual Mexican fare — tacos, burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas, for cheap. Tacos start at a buck, and most meals are under $ 6. All the usual meat choices and plenty of vegetarian options, plus a few vegan options. I’m not totally sure if this taco truck is the same that was further west down Belmont already, but I couldn’t find a review/listing for Loncheritas, so I’m adding with the Good Food Here cart pod address. The food was pretty good, nothing super amazing, but as that area starts getting busier, I hope they can kick up the speed a notch. It took well over 20 minutes to get a couple of tacos the other night when there were only a few people milling about. I’d give it another shot in the future, though, hard to resist a shiny taco bus on the way to Movie Madness!
