Took over an hour and the food was cold when it arrived. Not only was the food cold but the paper container had become so soggy it was falling apart, most likely from all the condensation from the hot food… an hour earlier! In all fairness, the restaurant may be fine, but their food delivered wasn’t impressive.

Clearly evident in two dishes: frozen veggie blend(probably«Asian» blend), instant or low grade rice, acidic and low flavor tomato sauce. Flavorful and salty rice noodles. Not recommended at all.

My friend’s parents may have spoiled me with authentic home-cooked Filipino food, but what I had here was bizarre and unpleasant. It was basically spicy spaghetti sauce and veggies over rice. It was extremely hot, and I’m a guy who enjoys spicy food… almost as if someone were trying to hide the fact that dish being served was chunky marinara sauce over rice. Hmmm… The cart is rarely busy when I am in the vicinity, so the idea of eating any seafood from here makes me shudder.

If this is what Filipino food is like in the Phillipines, then I don’t want to ever visit. Not sure what we ate, but it was a strange mixture of(what tasted like) mexican, italian, and chinese. Half of it was disgusting, and the other half, although palatable, was not cooked well at all. My boyfriend ordered for the 2 of us to share, pork belly adobo, tilapia and rice, kung pao chicken, and the chicken afritada(which tasted like someone made a lasanga with rice, and mole for sauce. Highly odd). I agree with the other review about the pork belly adobo. If that was pork belly, then I’ve been eating it wrong for years! Overly cooked pork chop would be more accurate. The only dish that I even remotely enjoyed was the tilapia and veggies. The veggies were over cooked, and the fish was fine, but my biggest complaint was the scary, pistacio pudding like sauce on the side. Bright green and slimey. Once I dared taste it, it turned out to be some sort of wasabi sauce. It was gross. I would have given it 2 stars purely based on the fish dish and the deep friend oreos(which, even though I liked them a lot, but its hard to screw up deep fried breaded oreos), but the next morning, I was late to work due to the time I spent in the bathroom, and the frequent trips I’ve made all day. I have no idea what the other customers are ordering, or what is wrong with their palates and iron stomaches, but I would not return to this place. Bottom line: The food is gross and made me sick.

I just received this for lunch. I ordered the Lumpia and the Pork Adobo. The lumpia was no more than ½ inch thick and 3 inches long. it was burned and tasted like any spring roll i can get frozen from the grocery store. The Pork Adobo was supposed to be pork belly in savory spices over rice. It is certainly NOT pork belly… which is a fatty moist and normally delicious. This is hunks of very over cooked lean pork meat with canned veggies and a little very salty sauce that barely colors the plain white rice served under it. to top it off my soda is warm…

One of the things I absolutely love about Portland is its food carts. I love to go food cart pods and eat at like 6 or 7 different ones at a time(well, no, not really). I just love that there are so many choices. Anyhow, so on a lazy night, after working on the house and cleaning all day long, I could not bring myself to shower and get dressed just to go pick up something to eat. So I pulled up to see what delivers around my new ‘hood. Not much that wasn’t pizza, I’m afraid… but this little gem popped up, and I was curious. A food cart that delivers? That’s crazy. There is a minimum order of $ 10 with a $ 3 delivery charge, so I ordered two dishes: the chicken afritada and the tilapia with steamed vegetables. I figured I probably wouldn’t make it to the grocery store the next day either, so I’d save one for another meal. estimated 45 – 60 minute delivery, but it showed up in about 30. Both dishes were steaming hot! I decided to eat the tilapia first since I wasn’t crazy about the idea of eating day-old fish, and I’m so glad I did because it was amazing. It had a little bit of spice to it, which was actually perfect, surprisingly. The chicken afritada was also good, even the next day, but I do suspect it was even better fresh. Great place, cannot wait to try the rest of the menu!
