Alan is a very compassionate and engaging counselor. His interests in Buddhism and mindfulness truly help with finding clarity – and he’s funny, too. The only thing I could possibly complain about is he’s a little disorganized/​scatterbrained occasionally, but it’s more charming than problematic. Oh, and he’s up in the Burlingame area, which is a bit of a trek from East Portland, but that’s not a big deal either. If you have attention-​related issues, he’s a great person to consider as your therapist! Funny, compassionate, comfortable. A good person to talk to, in a comfortable environment.
