Allstate Insurance: Michael Mosso

So far Mike has been great. Everytime I call I get an answer. Never not been called back. Anytime I have a question it is answered immediately. Thank you Mike for your service. It has helped and I appreciate your work. I have no complaints. Not to mention I was insured for a great rate even with my not so great drive speeding history. Thanks again Mike.

I have had auto insurance with Michael for two years and he has been the easiest, personable and friendliest auto agent I’ve ever had to deal with. I tell him what I need and he has always been quick to get it done and get back to me with good fair rates. Even when it was time to add home owners insurance he was there and did all that needed to be done with my mortgage broker. I didn’t have to do a thing but sometimes communicate a message. And If he isn’t available there was always someone in the office that I could talk to. Even when I had to move to another state he helped me find another agent! I appreciate all his work and help!

I switched over to All State with Mike Mosso about a year ago. He increased my coverage and lowered my premium cost after being with my previous insurer for 5 years. Great value and great service!

Not impressed. Not thrilled. Not recommended. As shown in prior reviews for this agent, getting him to communicate with you is horrific and clealry something he is not motivated to do unless there is a negative complaint left on Unilocal as the prior reviews suggest. It seems 3 our of 4 prior Unilocal reviews were complaints later updated once Michael decided to provide services insureds expect to receive from their agents. Oh, Micheal is great when he wants your business. Almost even communicative; but, once that policy is in place he has a certain way of making you feel insigniicant. If he is so detached from his clients on a day-​to-​day basis, I shutter to think of working with him when a claim is involved. I came home to a cancellation policy for moss on my roof. No courtesy call from Michael, no explanation; nothing; just a cancellation notice from Allstate??? Instead, he let me sweat it out until he sent an email more than a week later explaining it is typcial of Allstate and could be resolved with a receipt for moss removal. When I contacted him to find out how long my current policies were paid up through, he was was clearly inconvenienced by my inquiry and went as far as labeling me as having higher expectations than any other client he has had. Really? Letting me know the date my polcies are paid up through is kind of your job. Wait, it is your job! But, to him, it is about getting the business and then maintaining it with the least amout fo work without communication or the courtesty of a timely call back or email response. I, again, refer you to prior Unilocal reviews. My experience with Micheal lost him, and as a result, Allstate an insured who carried an auto/​homeowners/​umbrella policy with them. Client’s don’t want to feel like they are insignificant and/​or an inconvenience when they have needs let alone told their expectations are unreasonable. Of equal importance, Michael represented my my airbnb renters were covered by my homeowner’s poiicy under «boarders;» however, when I called several other Allstate agents to give them my business because Michael’s services were unacceptable, I was advised Allstate does not cover airbnb guests under homeowner policies. So on top of everything described before it appears I was paying for a policy which didnt cover what he represented it did. And, before i finish — I should mention: Michael won’t repsond to you timely; but, you can expect to be spammed DAILY by Allstate with their promotions. I literally had to beg to get off the spam list. Based on the above, you can image how easy that was. I was afraid to mark emails as spam in case Allstate had a legimate message for me. Ha! Not with this agent. There are other insurers/​agents out there that can sucessfully take care of you needs in a way that makes you feel signifcant and apprciated. In my opinion, Michael is not one of them. Two starts because at least I had some coverage and after leaving message after message or email after email — he finally did contact me. Sigh.

Since my last review a few weeks ago the situation has been resolved and the amount they said I owe was taken care of. I have renewed my policy for 6 months and expect that I will receive better service. My questions are answered and issues are resolved.

I have tried to get ahold of Michael (I have called 4 times) regarding my policy which he is most familiar with for almost 3 weeks. I also requested a document (I have contacted them 5 times about this) from them and I feel they have put me on the back burner.
Update: Michael has been awesome and has since then fixed the miscommunication between him and I. His rates are twice as low as everyone else btw.
