My husband and I love this place. We don’t even live next door, but found out about it from friends who do. Great beer, great atmosphere. Haven’t tasted the coffee, but I’m sure it’s great, too. Take a detour and check it out.

This place is super friendly, chill, and a great addition to a sparse neighborhood. The owner is very welcoming and seems committed to creating a community hub. I don’t know where they get their pastries but the bagels and cookies are delicious! You have no idea how life changing it is to finally have bagels within walking/biking distance from work! I’ll be back to try something from their extensive tap list.

I love this place as it is literally right out side my apartment door. Unfortunately I work a bazillion hours a week so my visits are fleeting but the coffee on my way to work keeps me going for ever and ever and ever… cue energizer bunny. Owners are so, so nice and personable. I really want to spend more time here and try more beer and wine that they have. Good local business to support run by a passionate owner. They also offer food! Good addition to this area as its up and coming but lacks a lot of options.

Multiple beers and ciders on tap. Friendly atmosphere. Also, great coffee. We are so glad Howl N Growl opened! My girlfriend and I now visit Howl N Growl on a regular basis.

My husband and I LOVE this spot. The owners are wonderful! The friendly welcome, relaxed environment, and delish beer made us instant regulars. Having a large selection of beers is great, there is always your favorite and something new to try. I love that they have wine on tap, and sell bottles. Prices are great and service is awesome.

My partner and I recently stopped in for a free Ground Breaker tasting and stayed another hour sipping pineapple cider. He enjoyed the atmosphere so much that he returned the next evening and stayed for four hours. So glad Howl ‘n Growl is part of The Waterline! Tommy, the owner, is a really personable, kind and hardworking man. When we inquired about the delicious gf beer we were tasting making it’s way to the taps, he said that he and his wife had decided to keep it in the cans and off the taps specifically to make it more celiac friendly. Thumbs up! If you’re in the neighborhood and interested in a beer, cider, wine, kombucha, or pretty much anything you might want off a tap and in a growler you should stop in. They also serve coffee –pour over, French press, you name it. Be sure to check the hours — there’s a bit of a break in the middle of the day so that they can open earlier in the morning and stay open until 9pm.

Coolest new place in town! Seriously awesome growler station/bar/breakfast joint/chill spot. Tommy is super friendly and knowledgable. He brings in local brews and ciders to do tastings and they’re getting food soon too! I live nearby so I drop by multiple times a week for my beer snacks and to relax after work. Love Howl’n Growl!

If you’re looking for pretentious coffee, this isn’t the place for you. Brand new across from Dockside, the owner Tommy greeted us with a warm smile and his crew handed us a menu. They have more than three dozen beers on tap available in Taster size($ 2), bring your own Growler 64 oz @ $ 12, and Howler 32 oz size(empty @ $ 4, filled @ $ 10, bring your own @ $ 6). They also have wine, ciders, and coffee on tap including Italian soda. The beverage menu is extensive and the owner told us he’ll have a food menu once the license pulls through. Onto what we ordered. My dude got a Blackberry Sour taster that was perfectly refreshing and delicious for summer. I ordered a glass of Pinot Gris that was perfectly chilled. Service was awesome. The owner and staff were extremely accommodating and helped welcome us to the area with a friendly, genuine smile and history of how they just opened up. No pretentious coffee hum drum — just real, friendly neighborhood service. Décor was impeccably clean with nice vintage looking farm chairs and a bunch of long, wood community tables with a set of comfy couches in the corner. Couldn’t ask for more — the waterfront area totally needed a neighborhood center for beer, wine, coffee and smiles. Can’t wait to pick up breakfast here in the near future!
