I’ve lived in apartments my entire adult life, from Columbia, MO, to Ann Arbor, MI, to Chicago, IL. When I moved to Portland, OR, I rented a single family home on a small acreage. Last year, I managed lawn maintenance with the help of friends and my own mower.
This year, I was doing a lot of business traveling, and the lawn got WAY out of control. I needed professional help. I got a couple of quotes I thought were out of line due to the guys telling me they would be weed whacking the .62 acres. What? Insert my landlord telling me I had ten days to get this fixed, and I did some searches. From the start of finding their website, to placing a call, to getting a quick call back and a same day visit to finalize the quote (which was less than ¾ the lower of the other quotes), Householder Mowing Service just reeked of professionalism. On the phone and in person, Nate is the king of customer service, and I can’t believe that my first ever hiring of a mowing service connected me with the BEST!
Nate and his crew came the next day. Four men total. Three mowers and at least one weed whacker. All of the men were professional, polite and friendly. They listened to my instructions. They delivered 100% (actually, they delivered 150%). They worked an extra hour to complete the job, but honored the original quote.
You will look long and hard to find a better company to manage your lawn than Householder Mowing Service. I will definitely be hiring them again to deal with other issues. I’m VERY impressed with these professionals! Thanks, Nate and team!

So convenient, and at a great price! That’s the type of combo I look for. Upon first meeting, I really trusted this guy. I really like supporting the local guy whenever I can, and not simply a big co, that way I know my money is going for something useful.
