THE best pizza in Portland! I LOVE this place. And I absolutely love everyone that works there, the customer service is like the Nordstrom of pizza restaurants. Fresh, local ingredients, incredibly perfect thin crust, lots of variety. You just can’t go wrong here. Delivery is always fast. They even have delicious cookies! The only problem is that I can’t eat pizza anywhere else now because they make such good pizza.

Manager eventually called me back. Issue still unresolved, but it was nice just to be contacted and see that they had remembered me. Still not a full 5 stars because that original reaction still leaves me feeling a bit bitter, but much more satisfied now.

Decent pizza delivered hot if you live nearby. And usually my order is accurate, prompt and hot. Stick to the basics: cheese and pepperoni. Even sausage kinda sucks because it’s some sweet sweet local thing. Sausage on a pizza should be *spicy*. At any rate I digress. Tonight the person on the phone while sickly sweet, insisted my usual 12 dollar pizza was 16, even after I insisted she had calculated it incorrectly. «Well how much is it usually?,» she asks. YGBFM, we’re asking the customers how much the food should cost? I actually had to stop to help her calculate the 4 dollars she was over charging me. She couldn’t be more put out. No tip tonight for this reason sorry. The delivery guy was prompt and friendly.

Refused to give service because i was too drunk despite being sober. I wish there was a zero star rating

Amazinggggg. So fresh and cheap! The fact that they use local ingredients and organic ingredients and they charge only 3.75 for a slice of pepperoni is insane. I always add some hot sauce to the pizza and it adds that nice contrast of flavors.

Wow! Just wow! Had the ITALIANSAUSAGE + ARUGULA Housemade Italian sausage, arugula + ricotta cheese on a tomato base and the cheese… just perfect. Even better after it cooled down. Delivery was prompt. Service was friendly. Ordering was a pleasure, especially being from out of town and not really knowing what is what in Portland. I only wish my friends were here with me to enjoy all the goodness of being here.

Delicious all the way through. Pizza and cookies and Marionberry soda all made with love. You’ve got a return customer here for a long time!

We had the pea shoots and walnut pizza while on a food tour. It was awesome and remarkably not greasy. Only thing… it did come out slightly cold but this is a totally minor complaint as compared to the quality of the pizza

Great for a family when everyone wants to pick out their own pizza? Love the crust. So good! The wheat crust was awesome. The Bread sticks were fabulous!

Hotlips pizza by the slice is the way to go! We typically order large pizzas(via delivery) here, which are fairly pricey and GIANT! But if you want to save some money(and your waistline), actually going to the store and ordering by the slice is your best option. They have a great selection of pieces by the slice(their daily specials are über tasty) and the side breadsticks and salads that are equally delicious. They also have beer on tap and local ice cream, so it’s the perfect pizza joint to go to with friends… get a beer, order some pizza & sticks, and be merry!

Of all the mid-shelf pizza options in PDX, HOTLIPS has got to to be the most expensive. Insert some bad puns about«dough» here and wait for your Unilocal elite status to roll in. In any case, a 4 dollar tip on delivery(it’s not their fault!) I actually managed to pay nearly 40 dollars for a single large veggie pizza. Their breadsticks are regular breadsticks that cost 2 dollars *each* because there is some pesto oil haphazardly baked in. This is madness. What good is ordering pizza if you choke to death while reading the receipt? I can see an *argument* for the pizza quality itself being closer 4-stars, but that convo doesn’t even start if I’m paying 5-star prices, jeezum. SFNY and Pizzacato are both better options(in their own ways) in the same weight class and they’re not gouging you either. Also, as a dishonorable mention: their website sucks. It’s web 2.0 crap but without the option to order online or get a price total.

If you’re craving pizza and breadsticks, Hotlips has the cure to what ails ya. Waiting for Providence Park to open its doors for the season opener, we craved pizza. Maybe it was the smell permeating from the doors of Hotlips, situated only a couple steps away from the stadium entrance. I ordered a slice of cheese, pepperoni, and ham/tomato. Every slice burst with flavor, and had an excellent texture. The crust was superb with fresh seasonings and a nice overall flakiness. We also picked up a couple breadsticks. These things were massive and extremely delicious. I tried both the regular and roasted garlic parmesan. They reminded me of something you might buy from a legitimate bakery. Piping hot and doughy, all covered with cheese. I highly recommend Hotlips for your stadium-side pre-game pizza needs!

There is something so magical about pizza being delivered to your house. Pizza is my all-time favorite food, and I’m an exercise junkie so I don’t allow myself to indulge very often. There is nothing worse than wasting bad calories on a bad pizza. HOTLIPS was oh so worth it. I am so grateful for this experience. My Love and I got a LARGE half pepperoni & Olive(me) and half Veggie Nirvana. I’m usually a vegetarian except when it comes to pizza. nothing can take me away from those perfect spicy pepperonis baby. This was the perfect pizza. Crispy pepps, golden crust, sweet tomato sauce, and the cheese wasn’t overwhelming.(if you like a lot of cheese you might ask for extra). Also, worth noting, I didn’t feel bloated or sleepy after eating 2 whole slices. Usually, pizza does me in pretty good, but I actually felt pretty dang good afterwards. This is a telltale sign of high quality ingredients. Thank You HOTLIPS! We will be back again!

Delicious hot slice of pizza for a rushed lunch today hit the spot, and I can always depend on that with Hot Lips. A terrific young woman with excellent customer service ethic helped me out and made my lunch seem less stressed and rushed. Thanks, Hot Lips!

Good assortment of tasty za and friendly staff. I like their Sicilian crust and habanero hot sauce(it’s not very spicy but it is tasty!) I even tried the vegan pizza by accident and it was great. The Hawaiian has nice big chunks of pineapple and they don’t go easy on the toppings on any of their pizzas.

FACT: a slice of Hotlips’ Vegan Focaccia pizza could turn a canine-toothed caveman into an all-foliage-all-the-time herbivore. It’s that good. The super puffy focaccia serves a purpose beyond deliciousness — it actually helps withstand the weight from all of the seasonal veggies, garlic and tomato sauce that’s slathered on top. Recently, it’s comprised of onions, roasted red peppers, spinach, mushrooms and garlic with freshly sliced tomatoes on top, but don’t be surprised if a rogue veggie makes its way onto your pie — the more the merrier in Hotlips’ book. Wash it down with whatever homemade soda is on tap and you’re bound to be the most gluttonous vegan this side of Hawthorne.

I’ve been eating at hot lips for over twenty years. I swear by it. Best Sicilian pizza in portland. Try the meatball Sammy too! Belly is a good deal of a loyalty program here too. Nice beer selection too at a very fair price!

I like this place a lot for a slice of pizza and a beer. Whenever I hit this place up it is clean and service is friendly. Prices are great and honestly the location is great! Sometimes when I get of the Max my tummy wants a slice like NOW! When the timbers play it can be hectic here but still not a bad option. Cheese pizza is solid.

My local Hot Lips location, which I can only frequent when there is not a Timbers game. They are pretty quick at turning around a to-go order, I tend to only wait for 15 mins to my pie to be done. Slices are also on par with their other locations and I enjoy being able to sit and enjoy a good local beer with my pizza. Only complaint would be that there pizza doesn’t tend to stand up well to travel, meaning by the time I get home with my pizza the cheese has started to separate from the dough and the toppings slide off when grabbing slices. The pizza is best fresh.

After having a vegan lunch at Whole Foods, I stopped by Hot Lips for a slice of pizza. The salad just did not cut it for me because after walking around for an hour in the city, I was hungry again! I ordered a slice of pizza with mozzarella at Hot Lips. I must have put too much habanero and chipolte sauce on it because my lips went up in flames! The sauce had a bite to it, and I was sweating like a hooker in church, but it was good. Awesome pizza and great staff too!
