After communicating with the business owner who owns the CCB number that Humberto uses, it’s clear that this is just outright fraud. Stay far away from this ‘family man’.

Does not show up after scheduling, time and time again. Even said to show up on a Saturday morning and I woke up early to get ready and didn’t show up.
After showing up a week later, the work was not professional.
Wall to ceiling not joint properly above cabinets. Can see patches of mesh material… didn’t mud over properly; Did not cover existing areas properly and made a mess of door trim and cabinets with paint.
Already paid him but found these problems afterwards and haven’t returned to fix the issues even after promising he would. Did not dispose of the extra drywall and paint cans. Very disappointed in this business with Humberto Guzman and I do not recommend this company at all.

We hired Humberto because he was the lowest bid. His drywall hanger, David, and the two mudders did a great job. However, Humberto had excuse after excuse and when he finally showed up to paint, he did the entire house in one day with his teenage son, and did a terrible job. The walls were never wiped down, and he painted over them, so there’s drywall dust in many places that need to be sanded down and repainted. He cut like a blind person would, the lines are so crooked.
We are still trying to get our money back from Humberto. We even found his address and showed up at his house to get some of our money back. His excuse (that time) was that he’d been sick and hadn’t worked. Do not hire him unless you enjoy not getting your calls and texts returned, having a very unprofessional job done, and waiting around for someone who will not show up when scheduled.
