Bought some pearl earrings from this place. I have only been to one other Harry Ritchie’s and also got pearl earrings from there a few years ago. Browsing around their store they do have some good deals and selection. I went here on Labor Day and sadly they didn’t have any sales going on compared to all the other jewelry stores. After comparing pearl earrings at other places for a few days, Harry Ritchie’s had the most affordable ones for only $ 40, deal! The other pearl earrings bought a few years ago are still nice. The reason for purchasing new ones is because she lost one of them. Quality is very good that is a reason why we came back, along with the price. Not sure if it was because they had to work on Labor Day but the service was okay. We just went and asked for the cheapest pearl earrings they had and it was the $ 40 but we also looked at others one which were more pricier. They got a new box and wrapped it nicely with a bow. When we left the store she wanted to put them on right away so we opened it. We didn’t realize that the pearls were different colors and sizes. So I took it back. When they saw they were embarrassed they didn’t notice. So after a few minutes trying to decide what to do they said the best they could do was another pair of pearl earrings that was for $ 75 but would give it to us for the same price. Of course I said yes. Only thing different about them was the size was bigger than the ones we originally got. But we got a steal and the pearls were still nice. Overall it was good experiences for these pearl studs. If shopping for other jewelry based on price, this place looks affordable.

3 stars only because their sales lady Rafi is the sweetest person on earth. We didn’t buy a ring, and I wasn’t all that impressed with the space or inventory, but she was adorable and genuine and I so appreciated that!

Boy do I wish I’d read the Unilocal reviews about this company before engagement ring shopping. Long story short, my complaint is not necessarily with the employees or the company, but the company that does their ring adjustment. I have been engaged for almost a month and have had my ring a total of 5 days. They can’t get the damn thing sized right! It has completely taken the wind out of my sails with the engagement, but on the bright side, all this stress has caused me to lose weight, so I guess that’s a good thing. But I have no plans on ever shopping here again, and now when I look at my ring instead of thinking about my husband-to-be, I think about what a pain in the ass this whole process has been!

I love fine jewelry. More importantly, I research what I love and I know good quality and good prices when I see it. Today alone I went to four fine jewelry stores, looking for a cheap travel wedding band to stand in for my 1.25 ct wedding band when I’m abroad. I ultimately bought an $ 80 white gold ring, and despite this low price point, employees Tristan and Randall treated my fiancé and I like royalty – definitely not something you can say for most other stores. I regret that the other reviewer had such a negative experience, but quite frankly that’s why you don’t go to a mall for high end, custom jewelry. You stick to stock and nothing else – custom is NOT this small, family-owned regional company’s bailiwick. UPDATE4÷11÷14: went back to get the husband’s wedding band, service was still epic despite simple needs and a low-ish budget. Great job, guys.

I got a Unilocal account just so I could rate this company and you can be sure that if they had negative stars, they would get them. In short they ruined my engagement ring, and wouldn’t give us our money back. I was appalled at how badly I was treated over such an important purchase. I called their corporate customer service rep to explain, surely she would understand. She was just as rude! I told her I was going to write this review, she LAUGHED at me saying«Go ahead, bad reviews WON’T change our policies.» Well hun, this one’s for you. They agreed to fix my ring, but upon getting it back I was told by another jeweler that the center diamond was chipped in a place indicative of being tightened too hard, and that we should take them to small claims court. After MONTHS of fighting with them Harry Ritchie’s agreed to take it back, but wouldn’t give us money back for our warranty, and made us pay a restocking fee… I’m sorry, who ruined it? Oh ya, YOU, and I hope to God you didn’t restock that chipped diamond. What on Earth gives you the nerve to fight with us when you are so clearly in the wrong? What kind of morals do you have that you would not give us a full refund when you ruined our ring? What kind of business model is that? We finally just took what we could get, literally ran to the bank to cash their refund check, because we didn’t have faith that they wouldn’t cancel it the second we walked out the door. We went to Shane Company, now there is a successful business model, it’s called standing behind your product. We bought a beautiful, 3x bigger ring for less than 1⁄3 of what Harry Ritchie’s charged us. Harry Ritchie’s has lost sight of what is important, and I’ve made sure everyone who admires my new ring knows why we are Shane Co customers for life!
