Fast, good food for a reasonable price, very nice staff.

Great food at a good price. Quick and friendly service and right in my neighborhood. I will definitely be back. I have ordered the teriyaki chicken and gyoza, so good!

it seems that these teriyaki places are often owned and operated by Koreans. Happy Teriyaki is too. I had their chicken and an order of california rolls. i suppose lunches are a better deal but what i had was worth the money. Chicken was tender, rolls were fresh and steamed veggies a nice touch. it s purdy good.

Credit card machine was broken and I didn’t have any cash on me. They tried fixing it for an hour holding on to my card. When they finally fixed the machine turns out they gave my food away. They didn’t even offer to make me one for a discount and I was sick of waiting. Never going here again unless they some how learn to run a respectable business.

Not bad! Love an original teriyaki flavor without a lot of pizzazz that o am used to from a teriyaki joint. Portions are big and service is as expected… Order at the counter and food brought to you. Second time here and still would stop in for a quick lunch, sure to have left overs.

My first few visits were fantastic! However the more I went, the more I noticed some things that make me less than comfortable. For starters, the very loud Christian Rock they have playing over the loud speakers. I get that business owners can play what they want, but they should bear in mind that most people don’t like the refrains of «Jesus is lord» on repeat while they’re trying to eat Yakisoba. Second, the smell. Every time I’ve gone in it’s been more and more. .. to put it bluntly, like they might have a broken toilet. Another thing that adds to the unpleasantness. Will I be back? Definitely, for take out. They’re next to my job and make a damn good Yakisoba! Will I eat in again? No. No I won’t.

Happy Teriyaki doesn’t make me sad. I wouldn’t say I’m singing from the hills, but certainly not sad. Their spicy pork, does make me quite happy. I like that they have some steamed veggies, and good deals on lunch specials. They have lots of side order options, pretty good prices and portions, and are easy to get in and out of quickly. My order is always ready when I call it in, and what more can you ask for? Oh, quality food-kind of. I will take the spicy pork over the chicken any day. Go on, get happy!

I love this place it has the best teriyaki I’ve ever had hands down. I would eat here three times a day of it was closer to my house. All the food is delicious and prepared quickly. I have eaten teriyaki in 28 different states and many more cities and none compare. I wish they were my personal chef. I’m serious this place is the greatest. If you have any doubts trust me it’s worth it. I’ve never have had bad service, so Idk what that other post is about; they could’ve been having a bad day shit happens. Eat here you’ll love the food I guarantee it. Also the proportions are big I always eat my meal for lunch and dinner.

This stop was my second time going to Happy Teriyaki. I like going there for the Teriyaki Beef Ribs. it is so good! The location is small, but the food is delicious. It’s good for someone wanting to eat by themselves or just for a piece of quiteness. The service is quite. I litterally got my food within 5 minutes of placing my order. The only thing I don’t like is the portion size. The portion for the ribs was good. rice was fair, but could give cusomter a little bit more, and cabbage is too small portioned. That’s why I give it a 4 star.

My boyfriend and I went in a couple weeks ago we ordered teriyaki with rice and veggies, it was very good beside the customer service and the amount of food that they served us. Apparently the time we went in was close to closing time and so when we got our food 10 mins after ordering they started to tell us that they were closing soon. Made us feel real uncomfortable, we kept eating and soon after they told us AGAIN and started putting everything away and closing the doors. We will never return to a restaurant where they basically kicked us out and not only that they charged like 10 dollars a plate and ended up giving us about half of a plate full.

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before stopping in. It wasn’t good. I popped in for a quick lunch before my next meeting and ordered beef teriyaki with fried rice and an order of shrimp tempura. I paid $ 16. The teriyaki has so much oil and juice that it was almost like soup and on top of that it was bland. I had to cover it in sriacha to make it more appetizing. The soda machine was out of syrup so my soda cheat day was wasted. I let the lady know that it still didn’t taste right, she fiddled with the machine and never got it fixed. My fried rice was also bland but the worst part was everything on my plate was a bit less than luke warm. It’s like they nuked it in the microwave for 30 seconds and called that a meal. Way disappointed and won’t be back. I feel so ripped off.

Had the Chicken & Gyoza with a Portland roll. Service was amazingly fast and the food was fresh. Sushi was very fresh and crisp. Loved it. When I am back in this area I will definitely eat here again.

Price point wasn’t bad, the sauce was really salty. Everything was just okay. I had the chicken yakisoba and a chicken egg roll. Egg roll was good, tasted homemade, the yakisoba was good, but the sauce on it was too much for me.

Love it! I adore calling them 10 minutes before, swinging in and for $ 5 getting my beloved chicken/rice bowl. Great food on a budget! Me so like!

I had no urge to vomit after eating their food and that is all that was memorable about getting take-out there. I never been a huge fan of teriyaki: you get a scoop of occasionally-fresh rice, some of the batch-cooked chicken, defrosted/reheated gyozas, and cabbage that’s been steamed long enough to serve an entirely infant/geriatric customer base. Happy Teriyaki is average-at-best on executing on this business plan. Their prices are somehow even higher than nearby noodle and Chinese places that considerably more effort to prepare your meals. Maybe it’s not fair that I’m giving this place a two-star review because I not an overall fan of its restaurant category. Oh well, life’s not fair.

This place has two things going for it — close to my work and fast. Most times I can barely get my Unilocal app open to check in before they’re giving me my order. (As you can see, I have quite a few check ins) For six bucks, I get a side of white rice, chicken teriyaki, pot stickers(except crunchy, what ARETHOSECALLED) & steamed veggies. Basically, a crap ton of food that’s pretty tasty. I would never say it was gourmet or anything, but still delish. They have the usual fare of a teriyaki place — and a bunch of other lunch specials too.

Craving teriyaki and out of our element around Clackamas Town Square, we headed north on 82nd through the sea of endless strip malls in search of a yummy destination. As the terrain thinned out and got a little… skankier(sorry, I don’t know what else to say)… we saw a little building, neat as a pin and promising… Happy Teriyaki. I did a quick Google — we were hungry enough such that unless I saw a headline that told of recent multiple deaths as a result of the food… But instead I found a few solid reviews about a generous portion of no frills teriyaki. And that’s just what we got. For just over $ 6 for the chicken and gyoza plate we each enjoyed a plate heaped with chicken, rice and a small serving of veggies. The cabbage was steamed — very steamed — and I wish it would have been more crisp. Along with it was brocolli and carrots which were right on, however. The chicken was grilled and was done but not overly so. Adding flavor was an optional house-made sauce that tastes like a mix of Siracha, sweet chili sauce… and I’m not kidding, but maybe ketchup. That sounds odd, but it was really so, so good. They have the usual array of noodles, meats, etc. and the big picture menu that looms to the left of the counter overpowers the smaller menu to the right of that which explains there are more things like sides and a few more entrees. We ate in; the dining area is small, basic, and a little… sticky. There was a steady stream of take out business. The place gets 3 stars instead of two for the good value — big portions.
