Goyo Tattoo

It goes without saying that getting a tattoo is different than getting your car washed or getting your nails done. It needs to be done right and it needs to be done correctly the first time. Goyo is the place to go for this. The facility is clean and welcoming and Greg is talented and professional. The prices are reasonable and definitely worth the money.
Goyo is located in Northwest so parking will not be a cinch. Then again it is not on 11^th or 21^st so you will be able to find it. They are generally only open for appointments so it is difficult to pop in for an impromptu ink session. I wouldn’t imagine people get too many tats on a whim they don’t later regret. The artist is flexible and will try to accommodate reasonable requests.

Greg @ Goyo Tattoo is veryyyy awesome. His level of professionalism and skill is great. I went to him for both my first and second tattoo and I plan on going back for sure. The environment is comfortable and clean, and he is willing to do what you want in order to give you a great experience. Greg is a very skilled artist and I cannot recommend him enough to friends looking for tattoos.

Portland is home to some of the best tattoo shops in the country and Goyo Tattoo studio is no exception. I recently got a tattoo from Goyo. This was my first tattoo, so obviously I had many reservations and concerns about the whole process. However, Greg (the owner and resident artist at Goyo) was very reassurring and helpful in answering my questions. In designing the tattoo, Greg listened very carefully to all of my requests and offered some valuable insight.
Looking back on my experience, I think what sets Goyo apart from other mainstream tattoo shops is their commitment to providing excellent customer service. When you get a tattoo at Goyo you’re not just getting any old tattoo; you’re getting a quality piece of art. Greg designs every tattoo based on the customer’s personal preferences. Greg received a BS from PSU in Painting, which is evident in the fresh and innovative perspectives revealed in his designs.
Bottom line. Goyo is your Go-​To boutique tattoo studio if you’re looking for a quality, relaxing and enjoyable experience. I was extremely pleased with the end result of my tattoo and have already started saving for my next one!
