Gossamer Salon is owned and operated by Kim, who is that special breed of hairdressers who have the feel in their fingers to produce the look you discuss with her: rare and awesome!
Only recently I decided to go from superlong (past my elbows) to supershort (past my ears) hair, and finding someone who can think with you and then execute that in your short hair is difficult. She makes me so happy with her cutting!
Why? Because Kim comes through for me every time, and I have been going to her for over 8 months now (forgot to Unilocal her, duh). She cut my hair one time a few months ago, and even though I was supposed to have it redone 8 weeks later, that date inadvertently became 13 weeks – but the way she had cut my hair, it still looked great and I was able to still style it as I wished.
Probably some of my styling ableness results from her nice product line, from Davines; the hairspray is so worth the price! Now I am trying a new thing, texturizing dust, which so far produces just that casual look I like.
That styling ability makes Kim golden in my book.
