Very knowledgeable staff at this location. Just beginning my fitness journey, and everyone was more than happy to assist and answer questions and suggest things to help get the end results I want.

Chill gnc, reps know a lot of good info. Good place to check out and maybe learn some tips on supps or general bodybuilding.

I have been to many locations, this one I like the best. Friendly staff with very good suggestions. I was looking for a simple multi-​vitamin for women and it took a few days, but the guys helped me out and I love what they found.

This place kicks ass! Just moved to Portland and I get all my supplements from this store. Martin rocks! Keep up the good work guys!

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION! Here are just a couple of reasons:
1) They are not open during business hours. You can go there and the lights are on but the door is locked and no one is in there.
2) Customer Service is the worst on the planet. I purchased the wrong item and noticed it before I left the store. Ok, just exchange right? NO, I had just renewed my Gold Card and it wouldn’t be in the computer system for 24 hours (although I had a receipt for the purchase in my hand) so in order to make the exchange for the correct item, which is $ 10 less, it would cost me $ 4. WHAT? that doesn’t even make sense… because the item I’m returning was with a Gold Card so the amount towards the next purchase was lower, ok, that makes sense, but since my GoldCard would not be active in the system for 24 hours (how can that be, I just purchased stuff with it?), I would have to pay the regular price for the exchanged item. THAT DOESN’T EVEN MAKE SENSE.
3) The guy helping me was the Store Manager, who told me he was very sorry but he didn’t know how to fix it, I would have to come back. REALLY? You’re the Manager! He could have made it right, right then and there, but why, because that would mean they have good customer service.
GNC is the Used Car Salesmen of the Retail World.
Read my reviews, I don’t just rant, in fact this is the most negative review I’ve ever written and I’ve written 210 and counting.

So generally speaking a GNC is a GNC is a GNC, right? Well, yes. Really the only thing that separates them are small variants in stocked items (although everything is basically available on-​line), and customer service. This location shines because of this.
I have gone into this location a couple times now. I’m not totally clueless on what I’m looking for, but guidance is certainly appreciated. I have been met each time with a friendly greeting and what seemed like genuine interest in helping me. I asked my questions and posed my scenarios, and received well informed answers and situationally appropriate anecdotes. Of course their job is to sell me something, but I have never felt pressured and also like the fact that I wasn’t pressured to «try» the more expensive item. I was actually referenced to one of the least expensive options.
The space is very GNC. Bright lights, lots of stock and plenty of inspirational signage selling the newest and greatest in pills and powders to solve your problems. With the right guidance though, one can actually navigate this mine field of supplements and mass builders. It doesn’t hurt either that all of the staff I have encountered has also been quite handsome!

This is my first Unilocal review. Worst buying experience ever. I just wanted to buy some protein for the listed price that it was advertised for. That can’t happen at this GNC. Instead the clerk tells you that the listed price is the sale price that is happening in 3 days. Then he wants you to purchase the «gold card» so I can save money. After a little back and forth about the price and the «sale date» I leave frustrated. I do a little research and call up another GNC and I ask if I can purchase the protein for the advertised price in his store. «Well of course you can… sir». I’m feeling foolish that I feel like I’m getting a deal for actually paying the listed price! So I drive up to GNC off Barnes Rd. make my purchase and think wow why couldn’t that have happened at the other GNC 2 blocks from my house?! What’s done is done, I will never purchase any item from the GNC in the Pearl.
