Great store. Easy access and not too busy and has almost everything you could possibly need

This review is strictly for the deli here. I’ve been coming here for about a year now and I’ve just given into giving a review. I hate this deli yet some how I still find myself coming here. The food in the cold selection is fresh somewhat, that’s why I’m giving 2 instead of 1 star rating. I HATE THAT YOU STOPPED MAKING THE YELLOW CHICKEN CURRY SALAD!!! That used to be my favorite … Now if I want it the closest one that does it is over off interstate in N Portland… Also, for the cold part of the deli, you really need to step up your game on how many items/​different bigger selection you have in the case. The selection here is so strange and unusual compared to the most of the Fred Meyers, like a red beat salad concoction??? most of them have the same things, which usually includes the chicken Cesar pasta salad that for some odd reason, all the other ones don’t add the little red peppers, this location does. I’m curious to know if this is because of the owner /​manager of this location or the people actually working in the deli deciding to spruce things up. On another note, please figure something else out for packaging up the turkey/​cream cheese cran. wrap. The way you have it is disgusting and I’ve now thrown ²⁄₃ wraps that I’ve bought at this location due to them being stuffed into a plastic sack and zip tied for it to just become grossly soggy and inedible. I really wish this location would step up their cold deli selection. The one south gate Fred Meyer in Medford OR, now their deli is one to follow. They do everything right !

This review is for the deli. Came in today before the Superbowl to pick up hot wings/​drumsticks, jojos and chicken tenders. Never again! They obviously created this stuff in a hurry today. The spices they used for hot wings were really odd tasting and the tenders were super salty. So gross! KFC would have tasted better, and that place is nasty.

Seriously? It’s Labor Day! Many other holidays before Christmas FM!!! I kinda hate you right now & will be boycotting your stores.

Literally the worst customer service I have ever ever experienced. I received such bad service tonight from a larger woman in customer service. (I say larger because I do not remember her name and there were two others working) I watched her treat three other customers in front of me horribly. Then came me. Oh great i asked for a money order, she was very snappy and rude. She didn’t even greet me or confirm any amounts that I had asked for. Also did not count my cash back. She literally handed me my $ 10 bill. I did comment on her customer service skills. I simply said you should be a little bit nicer if you work in customer service. She laughed in my face and said yep okay hahah have a great day lady. Like really I would have asked what I could have done to made my experience better. Bottom line this places customer service has gone down the drain dramatically. I really hate that this is the closet Fred Meyer to me. :(I do not like Fred Meyer anymore. And it’s over priced.

Staff of electronics– 2 workers were so irritating we printed pictures and they didnt even give them to us

We buy most of our groceries from here. The store is somewhat near Gresham. The pricing is moderate and I like that the produce is always fresh.
The deli is great too. They have fried and baked chicken as well as jojos amongst other things. There is a bakery here too. I love the freshly baked French bread. The workers are friendly and seem to like their jobs.
The parking lot is generally full, but you can usually find parking in the back.

Yes it’s a little average but the staff are friendly informed for what they have though they don’t have a huge selection but it’s kept clean, and neat. Never very busy and products seem fresh.

I come here every other week. Either to buy a new game that came out, or just to buy snacks or juices for myself. Their are a great selection of books, toys, hardware, electronics, food, shoes, clothes. Etc.
In overall I always have a good experience.

Once again rude customer service in the electronic department from Ellen or erleen. why I continue to come here IDK

I visited four Fred Meyer stores today, in search of the best 70% of clearance stuff. This one had the most stuff and the best selection. Henleys for 4 bucks. Sketchers for $ 15 – 20, really awesome scarves and hats for 5 bucks each. Do not go here during girl scout season if you are hungry. I managed to spend more on cookies than clothing, and that is not an easy thing for me to do. Surprisingly, the homeless people hanging around were less aggressive than I expected for this area.

Very nice staff. Great selection of everything & good deals abound. Great meat department (love the black angus beef), it doesn’t cost that much more and worth every penny .
Occasionally, Freddys will have a sale on Carhart’s clothing that’s better priced than the factory store by the airport is at any time.
This is the only Freddys that I’ve been to consistently where the staff isn’t 50% assholes minimum.

Never been to a Fred Myer before (I’m from Ca) but it’s gotta hella good meat department. Kinda like a Walmart that you its a all in one shopping experience, but with out the freaks.

This is my local Freddy’s, and I end up shopping there a few times a week.
The pros about this store:
–prices are reasonable
–selection is good-​I can usually find what I’m looking for
–very quick checkout and lots of lanes open
–the grocery or main part of the store never seems understaffed
Cons:
–pharmacy is usually understaffed and employees are uninformed (I now go elsewhere for prescriptions)
–I literally had to follow a chatting voice on the phone to find an employee in electronics dept
–store has a depressing, outdated feeling
Overall, it’s a good store and I’d recommend it. There is a Safeway not too far away that is less depressing, but the prices are much higher, and of course I can’t buy printer cables or hardware there.

This Fred Meyers is particularly super busy. Sometimes it’s hard to find a parking spot unless you want to walk a good distance.
One thing I LOVE about this Fred Meyers is their customer service in the bakery. I always come here for the best tiramisu cakes — actually it’s a sheet cake that Kroger orders and they can cut it to the size you need. It’s super afforadable and really hits the spot. I’ve also ordered their regular round double deck chocolate cakes a few times. The cake decorator does a great job customizing all the cakes and meeting your vision. The base price of the round double layer chocolate cake with raspberry filling was only $ 11.99! We decided to add berries and fancy it up for a grand total of $ 16 :) The decorator will call you for a specific quote and meet any budget you have. Can’t beat those prices and got a declicously beautiful cake.

This is the Freddy’s of my childhood. And even some of the service folks of my childhood still work here. My two faves are Leanna (a manager) and Steven (u-​scan). But I haven’t met anybody at this Freddy’s that isn’t good with customer service. The selection of organics is fair here, and while it isn’t the fanciest Fred Meyer, it has definitely stepped up the layout over the years (I remember when the deli was in the back of this store, and the pet section directly in front of it, with the produce all to the left and front).
It’s not our local Freddy’s but we come here when we’re on our way to the folk’s house in my old neighborhood and they rarely ever lack anything we’re looking for.

You average neighborhood friendly Fred Meyers. I’ve been to nicer ones around town. This one is average, same quality as the one on foster. Area around this location is dangerous and ghetto. Parking can become a war zone. There are loitering people outside that greet you.
Most employees here are unenergetic and seem like they rather be other places than here.

I recall it was a hot day when my friend and I walked here. We went from SE 155^th Ave and SE Stark St to SE 148^th and walked to the store.
Thank god this store had AC, otherwise, I would have looked like a boiled octopus. I recall walking into a somewhat empty supermarket and we beelined it for the cold drink and meats section.
Decent grocery store I guess. Oh how I miss CA even more so.

They have a wonderful large selection of fresh flowers. I love coming in and seeing what new flowers they have. I was able to get a large bouquet of flowers for right around $ 20.00. They come with the little packet of flower food that helps keep them looking vibrant longer.

This is my neighborhood Freddy so we frequent it quite often. It is one of the smaller, «more limited», and «less-​nice» Freddies but it’s passable.
What I like about this Freddy:
— always have nice bananas
— the produce stockers and most employees are nice
— free kids cookie at the bakery
— play area for kids 2 y/​o and up
What I wish they can improve on:
— the quality of their tropical fruits (e.g. mangoes, Hawaiian papaya)
