A friend of mine bought a LivingSocial deal several months ago for Frankie’s Franks. We got pizza, chicken wings, and breadsticks. The pizza wasn’t bad. Maybe a little undercooked, but eh. The breadsticks were… okay, and the chicken wings were the worst chicken wings I’ve ever had. Then we played some Fright Fearland. All in all, a good day! A couple of months later, I saw a similar Groupon that would let us get whatever we wanted. Frankie’s Franks has a pretty varied menu, but there was one thing I saw while there that I couldn’t stop thinking about: the pizza burrito. Well! I snatched up the Groupon and we scheduled another visit for the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. When we got there, though, Frankie told us that because it was slow, he was closing up shop. It was around 2:30 when we went, and the place is supposed to close at 6. Unless we wanted some nasty wrapped sandwiches or something, we were out of luck. Because, I guess, he can’t prepare new food? He makes all the food in the morning and just lets it sit there all day??? I don’t know. But it was horrible. I would not, however, be deterred from my mission of eating a pizza burrito! We decided to go back about a month and a half later. Again on a Saturday, again at 2:30, except this time not on a holiday weekend. And this time, THISTIME… all the lights were off and nobody was even there. What the hell! What kind of slipshod enterprise is Frankie running where you can’t even count on the establishment being open when it’s supposed to be open?! I just wanted a pizza burrito… We vowed never to go back. Frankie’s Franks gets a 2… out of 5.

Happy I found a place that has something for everyone. Stopped for lunch and got Hot dogs, AND a pizza to take home for later! Going back to try some Mexican food, but I’m not sure about the Elephant ears! lol! Very Friendly employees!
