This place is alright if you’re down by the waterfront and need something quick. They served the last of the soup special before we got up to order, so we were kind of bummed and just ended up getting grilled cheeses to tide us over while we searched downtown for more food. Probably better options on the menu, but basically the place seems to cater to the office building lunch crowd.

Overall a pretty decent place. I really like that you can use the order ahead app and have your sandwich waiting for you. I used to get the pulled pork a lot which I like. However after twice getting more fat than pork I decided to stop taking my chance. The farmhouse club is great and I like it on the roll. Had the grilled cheese recently. Good sandwich but seems expensive at 5.50 $ for two slices of bread and some cheese. I probably won’t get it again based on being able to make it for less than a dollar. Impressed that the kitchen staff has never screwed up my order. I often have them remove sauces or cheeses and have always gotten the order right.

Great breakfast burritos on the go, coffee wasn’t bad. Only thing I would recommend is dropping price to $ 5 for burrito, that would keep me coming back.

Went here for the first time, when I went to pay the man didn’t give me a total, just held his hand out for payment. When I handed my card he slid it and gave me a receipt. Never said thank you or anything. Won’t be back based on customer service.

Ew. I walk past them on my lunch walks. Decided to give them a shot. Just went for a grab and go salmon ceasar. Salmon was not fresh, odd texture, and pretty tasteless. For $ 7.50, not going back. Not worth it. Many other places to try downtown.

Happened upon this café randomly after getting off the bus one day and now I’m here almost every day. Sadly, I normally only get coffee — but it’s always fresh and hot and very tasty(they serve Nossa Familia) and I’ve never had a bad cup. The owner is always smiling and friendly and helpful. The staff takes after his lead and are always cheerful and interested in how you are and what you’ve been up to. I had the clam chowder today and it is without a doubt the best clam chowder I’ve ever had. Makes me want to try more of their menu if this is any indication of the quality available. Highly recommended!

Solid place for breakfast and lunch, especially in this business area of downtown. Great soups and really well made sandwiches. Personally I love the bacon cheddar breakfast sanwich, the club, and the clam chowder.

This was one of the first places I visited upon arriving to Portland, OR. Now it’s my Go-To place for lunch. The various assortments of soups, and gourmet sandwiches provide great options. I haven’t tried breakfast yet, but would highly recommend the Tuna Melt, and ANY special that they list. The customer service is excellent, and always welcoming. Recommend this greatly.

This is my favorite downtown breakfast place. I have eaten here at least once a week for more than a year and every meal has been excellent. Every one.(Reasonable prices, too.)

Great food, fast! Best clam chowder in town. The Farm House café is also on the cutting edge with reusable to go boxes, and an app to order online, Friendly service too!

There isn’t much open for early breakfast in Portland, but the Farm House got us going on several days during our week in the city, and we left well fed and full of friendly chatter from the proprietor. The coffee was great, egg dishes well prepared, and the toast was the best toast.

Great café with a wonderful breakfast menu! Very affordable and has a large variety of options. Use their OrderAhead if you want your food to be ready for pick up when you’re in a hurry. The owner is a great man, always very pleasant and courteous! Definitely recommend!

I’ve been here a couple of times now, both relatively early in the morning. The prices are reasonable and the ordering process is quick and simple. Unfortunately, the employees aren’t super friendly and I imagine they are mirroring their attitude problems from the owner, who isn’t too friendly himself. At least, I’m assuming the guy who rings people up in the morning is the owner. Their biscuits and gravy are delicious and worth a try. If it wasn’t a carb overload, I would absolutely get them all the time. The last time I went, I got a greek yogurt parfait. A helpful employee said she was making them in the back and could hold off on putting blueberries and raspberries in mine, and only put strawberries. I thought that was awesome and waited patiently for it. The owner came out and gave me my greek yogurt parfait with all berries in it. Gaaaaah. Okay, that was a waste of time, so I just ended up picking them out. I’m still definitely willing to give Farm House Café another try at lunch since the food is at least worth it.

I cannot praise Farm House Café enough! Overall, Farm House provides excellent value, an extremely friendly and accommodating staff, and a wide variety of options to please any dietary restriction. I frequent Farm House Café at least 3 times a week, for either breakfast, lunch, or an afternoon snack. They always have fresh, high quality ingredients, and everything I have had has been delicious and recommendable. Farm House is definitely a must and you’ll see why this is my favorite quick breakfast and lunch spot in Portland!

Overall, this is a great place. It has good food, good service, friendly staff, and good variety. Their breakfasts are my favorite and nicely priced for what you get. The lunch is a bit more expensive so I usually don’t purchase lunch. However, they offer good quality food so it may justify a bit higher prices. Soups are tasty and seem homemade. I know the one-star reviewer who complained about changing portions and charging the same price. I admit that that is very frustrating, but to the credit of the Farm House staff, in both cases they changed the prices back to the original. I’m glad the Farm House is near work and there when I didn’t have time to make myself breakfast.

I try to like the food, but it’s the owner that keeps me away. I have been to this little«restaurant» several times during the day. Twice now they have change portions for their set menu items and did not communicate that on the board or when ordering. Yet they somehow think that’s alright. It’s like asking for a dozen eggs, getting 9 and have the shop owner providing you with a SORRY instead of providing you what you paid for. Everyone should find another place to satisfy their morning/afternoon hunger. There’s much better places in downtown that will treat you much better. Good riddance!

Nice lunch spot. The French Dip was very tasty. I picked off the mushrooms, but that’s my own fault for not reading the menu carefully. Nothing especially notable about this café, but nothing to complain about either!
