Fandango

I purchased tickets online to see Star Wars as a gift. I chose a local theater but when I showed up for the movie, I was told my tickets were for Plano TX. NOT the state I live in. I tried contacting customer service, but was disconnected via phone at least 5 times. I tried live chat, was on hold for hours and then disconnected. Finally got through to someone and was told they would not refund my money even though it was their error and I was unable to reach customer service in a timely manner. I would not advise using this service. Go directly to your theater to buy tickets folks. Save yourself a huge headache and some money.

I would also urge caution. Did not receive my money back even though I NEVER got the tickets. Very disappointing. I will not use Fandango again.

Using Fandango for buying movie tickets is very convenient however be very careful as Fandango will not give you a refund if they make a mistake on your seating. We bought 4 tickets to an 3D show bought our 4 seats got to the theater and fandango had the seat schematic wrong. We went into the theater a d had 3 regular seats and 1 wheelchair spot. We went to the theater manager and they said oh ya we have called fandango 3 times and they haven’t fixed the pronlem. So we couldn’t see our movie but the theater did give us 4 free passes for a 3D movie in the future and they let us go watch the movie in a non 3D Theater. My complaint is I emailed fandango and they first of all blamed the theater 2^nd they have a NO REFUND policy so in other words they can make all the mistakes they want with no accountability for themselves. Buyer be ware is all I have to say
