I really love it! We get basic, pepperoni, extra cheese, thick crust. Reminds me of pizza before it got trendy. For me, this is the perfect delivery pizza!

Would definitely recommend a calzone over the pizza. Not a huge fan of the pizza crust but for some reason it really works as a calzone. Go for the pesto, it really makes it! The beau likes their chicken parm sandwich as well. Staff is always friendly.

This place makes great American pizza! The thin crust is lovely and the spicy marinara just what I am looking for. The variety of ingredients available make creating the perfect pizza a breeze!

2 words sum up my experience here, «wow» and«yum». Ed himself made us an incredible sausage pizza and a beef sandwich. Who would think you can get 2 Chicago staples right in Portland? Everything tastes flavorful and fresh. This was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. In an age of too many chain pizza parlors, it is great to know there are still independents around that put the big guys to shame.

Great pizza, the thin crust makes an amazing pie. Has almost a crackers crispness, and goes very well with the sauces. Have had both delivery and eaten in. Both were great and didn’t take long to get the food. Other than only street parking, it is one of the bet pizzas I have had, and for sure for the area it’s the best around. Very friendly staff, we never felt neglected or ignored. Our drinks were always full and they even have several beers on tap which is always nice. Would absolutely eat here again when I am in north Portland. I’ve been told the regular crust is very different than the thin crust but that is I also great in its own way.

My son and I stopped in for a quick bite. The food was amazing! The staff — super friendly. I haven’t had fries that tasted so wonderful in years. Everything cooked to perfection. He had a burger and I had a chicken parm sandwich and side Caesar salad. Definitely coming back to try the pizza.

Wasn’t convinced by the Calzone(too bready) but still a big fan of Eddies’ pizza and discovered the Skinny option which is extra thin crust, less cheese and more sauce. Love it!

I ordered mats favorite pie on a thick crust. 22 bucks for a large, and that’s plenty of pizza for the price. Great sauce, tasty sausage. Service was prompt and friendly. A great choice for pizza in nopo

My family stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, almost thinking it was closed for good on account of the construction and dated exterior. The inside was similarly unimpressive, and the pizza was mediocre. The sauce had a strange flavor and the crust was like a cracker. Won’t be coming back.

I tried Eddie’s on a whim, and it could not have impressed me any more than it did. The dough, which is made from scratch every day, is simply the best pizza dough I’ve ever had. Everything on the menu seems to be carefully considered – the combinations of flavors are not just the same things you’ve seen at every other pizza place. I’m looking forward to exploring more and more of the menu to see what gems are hidden there. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Eddie himself. The owner made his way to my table when I sat down and made some friendly conversation. He had a few suggestions and tips about the menu(he correctly advised against over-ordering). He even carefully adjusted my table to make it juuuust right. I saw him bring over puzzle books for a family who were regulars, and they couldn’t have seemed more pleased with his attention. The level of attention and care from Eddie and his staff was phenomenal. The bottom line is this: the food and the service are fantastic. The prices are very reasonable. I’m looking forward to becoming a regular here.

Eddie’s is my go-to place for pizza in the neighborhood — and not just because it’s nearby. It has all the right ingredients(no pun intended) that make returning great every time: friendly service, mouth-watering pizza and a low key, yet warm atmosphere that always makes me feel welcome. Now let’s talk pizza! Eddie’s has all the components right. I always choose a flat and crispy crust, although thick and crunchy is also on offer if that tickles your fancy. The sauce, fresh and flavorful, along with the toppings(special mention for the sausage!) is always generously served up and pay attention to this very valuable note: it’s right to the edges of the pizza. I repeat: right to the edges. And yes, it does bring back happy memories of enveloping tasty and saucy pizza in Chicago. The best bit is now I only have to walk two blocks to get the same satisfaction. I love this family business and it’s honest menu of treats. It’s a bonus seeing the same faces with the same smiles every time I’m back.

I’ve never even been inside, but this is my place for delivery! I’ve tried pretty much everything pizza, calzones, hot wings, chicken parm, hot Italian beef sandwich, etc… I’ve honestly enjoyed everything we’ve ordered. I do prefer their thin crust over the thick crust for the pizzas, but that’s just my personal preference. The hot beef sandwich is so darn good. It’s like an Italian version of a French dip with hot melted mozarella, and their own spiced au jus. Hot wings are big and juicy, cooked well. Plenty of options for my veggie partner, as well. Plus they deliver, and their staff is friendly. They even put up with my drunken shenanigans! Thanks Eddie’s!

We had the toasted ravioli and split a 12″ thick crust pizza. Service was friendly, price was great($ 22 for two sodas, an app, and the pizza), we had leftovers to take home(and they reheated well). The owner came over when we first arrived and made some recommendations. The space itself is nothing to write home about, but with pizza this good, who cares? We are moving into the neighborhood soon and I am very excited to have this so close by.

I went to Eddie’s a few months back with a group of about 8 — a raucous bunch of big eaters. 3 calzones, 2 pizzas, a lot of whiskey in various forms. Every one of us left there stuffed to the brim and still wanting more. The pizza was superb — cheesy, a thick, crispy crust, and the toppings were piled high. Every bite was the essence of savory. The calzones were the pizza’s equal, something I don’t say lightly. Eddie’s calzones are served with a side of fresh, hot marinara, and stuffed tight with the ingredients you pick. Some places put sauce inside, Eddie’s doesn’t — if you want red, you’ve got plenty for dipping. But don’t think they’re dry — I never knew a calzone could be succulent, in fact. The only thing wrong was that instead of sausage in my calzone, it got turkey slices! Normally that would be enough to make me ask for a few bucks off the tab, but it was so good I didn’t care. The sausage comes extremely recommended, despite the absence in one calzone. One of the richest sausages I’ve ever had. Not fatty, not greasy, just… rich. Exactly the way it should be.

The burgers are amazing… Fresh baked bun, delicious fresh ground beef, thoughtful adornments. Also, from what I hear, they’ve been the same price for years and years! The burger is absolutely delicious! At $ 6 with fries, you can’t help but feel like you’re getting away with something when you get the bill. Another thing– don’t get on Unilocal and write a bad review before calling Eddie to tell him why you aren’t satisfied! His cell phone number is on every napkin dispenser in the place for a reason and I am sure he would be happy to make it right on your next visit(or on the spot if he’s in the house). 2 stars should be reserved for places that are actually BAD in my book.

Ordered delivery from Eddie’s on Friday. We were so happy with everything. The pizza was hot, cheesy and everything that a pizza should be. We also got the kale roll-ups — I AMOBSESSED. They are filled with cheese, garlic and kale and they practically melt in your mouth. Delivery was pretty quick and the prices were more than fair. Highly recommend for a night in!

Every time we come here, not only does everything taste amazing and rich, but we over eat. Portions are large, the flavors are amazing. Highly recommend the Wings, Calzones And Pizzas. You can’t go wrong, just bring an appetite and remember, portion sizes are deceivingly huge! Go, take your time, eat slow and enjoy!

Fresh ingredients, fresh music, fresh people and a fresh new look inside! Eddie’s Flat Iron Pizza joint is deeply rooted in family history that they embrace whole heartedly, which is abundantly obvious via their traditional menu and atmosphere. An open eating area complimented by classic booths lining the walls, tables located throughout the room and bar seating facing the kitchen giving the traditional feel of a classic pizza joint. The wait isn’t unreasonable when you consider the quality of the food and people preparing it… Unless you’re used to eating from any of those horrible pizza chains that can get you their processed ingredients in 30 minutes or less. They can also deliver if you aren’t a social person, but if you are, I suggest you march those feet through the door and experience it for yourself. Might I suggest to you the chicken or eggplant parmesan… Or even the chicken club pizza… Better yet, try the chicken club in a calzone, but add pepperoncini(my favorite spin on an already awesome flavor) to spice it up a lil. They also have great wings on the menu with amazing blue cheese dip. With one of my favorite pizza joints around Portland, it’s hard to recall other pizza spots when thinking pizza. Plus, there is so much more than pizza if your aren’t in the mood for that stuff.

A fabulous place for pie. A real Chicago treat. This neighborhood must is worth a drive or walk to. The offer a pile of squishy dough to little hands who have to wait(think kid /family friendly). They also pour a modest well drink: cran /grey goose, in my case. This pie place goes hand-in-hand with sports lovers… though it does not«sport» multiple big screens, the L– shaped seating allows for a pretty good view.
