Dropped by here because a friend said they had cheap luggage here. Spent less than $ 50 bucks and got 5 t-shirts and a medium size luggage bag. Its been almost 4 months since I’ve been here and my luggage bag is still in tact and shirts have lasted. No complaints here!

Should’ve kept it a Ross. It’s part of the Ross chain, but think super ugly stepsister status. They closed the upstairs and crammed every non-brand item on the main floor. The men’s section is very small and geared towards gangbangers. It’s the same prices as Ross but you get brands you’ve never heard of. There are too many security cameras hanging from the ceiling. *They didn’t remodel anything and after leaving I felt like I needed a shower.

My sock drawer is in disreputable condition, so I stopped in here to pick up new socks so that my feet would no longer be embarrassed to be seen with me. Picked up 12 pair of name-brand socks(and a cute new top) for $ 20. Feet are happy. I’m happy. Wallet is happy. Sweet deal all around!

Downtown is a shopping destination. There’s Pioneer Place, several boutiques, and department stores. While shopping downtown with a friend, we happened upon DD’s Discounts. Curiosity got the better of us, so we decided to check it out. As soon as we walked through the door, we were confronted by an employee who demanded we check our shopping bags in at the front desk. «We have a no bag policy». Seriously?!? I understand the pressures of theft on margins, and I am all for passive loss prevention policies, but to be asked to check our shopping bags in before we could shop is ridiculous. If theft is such a problem in this store, then they need to employee Loss Prevention officers and tag items with sensors. Asking me to check my shopping bags is where I draw the line. We said thanks but no thanks and did a 180 out the door.

From what I understand, this place is part of the Ross family. Same stuff… However. The prices seem to be about 25 percent cheaper! Win!!!
