Darling Press & Stationers

I attended a local bridal show in Portland, Oregon and stumbled upon Darling Press. They were exactly what we were looking for in invitations. We weren’t entirely sure of the direction we wanted to go with them, but Alia walked us through the process and made it so easy. We worked mostly online to come up with a concept that we all loved. They are the most gorgeous, letterpress invitations and RSVP cards that were designed especially for us. One of the best parts? They cost us almost exactly what ordering from an online mass-​produced shop would have been, except these are tailored especially to us, local, and we got to use the best team around.
These invitations do take time, though, so just make sure you start early. I would definitely recommend Darling Press though if you want a little something so special and a wonderful group of people. :)

I found Darling Press via Pinterest and contacted them via email to inquire about having them create my wedding invitations. I had an idea of what I wanted them to look like, but really needed a designers eye to pull it all together.
Working with the team was amazing. Since I’m based in Chicago and travel quite a bit for work, they were able to work with me ONLY via email (which is easiest for my schedule) and were always very responsive to my endless questions and requests. They sent a few different ideas to us and were always extremely friendly and helpful. They sent samples in the mail of the paper that we could use so that we could actually see the quality and choose the exact colors we wanted.
The invitations turned out perfectly — they are exactly what we wanted. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Darling Press for any custom stationary and have already recommended them to many of my friends. I can’t wait to send them out! I would post a picture because I’m so excited about them, but don’t want to ruin them for my friends/​family :)
