My wife and I love this place. So thrilled to have a place not too far out of the way to go to when we are craving some authentic Mexican food. We usually go for the fajitas and enchiladas. Huge portions and fresh chips, you wont leave this place hungry.

I have thought I had found my favorite Mexican restaurant after being here several times and being amazed by the food. However this last Sunday I went my food was not so great, the same with my family, they were not so pleased. What we noticed is that all the other time we had been there in the past the owner was there. I will go again in hopes of this message reaching him. The food should be just as great anyday not just on those he’s there to watch over his staff.

I love love love the chicken taco salad at this place. The shell is fresh and they don’t skimp on the cheese, chicken, sour cream and guacamole. Service is a little slow but that salad is worth the wait.

When I moved here from California, I was warned Mexican food here was not the same and to prepare to be disappointed. And I was. UNTIL COCINA GARCIA! So happy we stopped in last night. Best Mexican food I’ve had in Oregon so far. And great happy hour deals ALL DAY Sunday and Monday?! Good deal. Can’t wait to go back.

This is still my favorite Mexican restaurant. Food and service are actually better than berfore when it was La Costita. Went there today for my sons bday and ordered a MACHO BURRITO and it tasted excellent and fresh. If you want great Mexican food in Portland, I recommend you come here.

This used to be La Costita but this location got a new owner. Same amazing food, pretty much the same menu, and still great service. This is still my favorite Mexican Restaurant in the Portland area. They also have an awesome happy hour menu now! :)

This place kicks ass!!! The food is absolutely excellent and a clear step above the old La Costita’s! I’ve never been so excited to see shredded beef in my meal in my life! (Something not offered at LC) The drinks are excellent and very flavorful! We will definitely be back. Repeatedly. GO NOW!!! Trust me, just drop everything and GO!!! You won’t regret this!!!
