Charming Charlie

I was lured in by the pretty springtime color combo of mint green and peachy coral, so grabbed the door handle and sashayed right in. Eureka, the store was empty (that doesn’t happen often enough), and I was cruising the aisles fingering things and getting all happy. Lots and lots of pretties (scarves, jewelry, etc.) all reasonably priced. Each step I took, I got happier because I knew I was going to find my niece’s birthday present here. She’s a stylish gal who I knew would love this store and/​or something from it. Hell, Auntie was having a grand old time.
Then my happy bubble sadly was burst. One of sweet young ladies who worked there broke into my revery and told me very nicely that the store was closed, but that they had forgotten to lock the door. I think I probably frowned, but they told me to come back in ten minutes. I was oblivious enough to time that I realized I had to skedaddle for an appointment and couldn’t come back the rest of the day.
However, that won’t stop me from coming back for more fun with shopping. And I definitely have time before J’s birthday to get back here. Yay!

I love this place. I was lured in by the sale signs, but quickly noticed that they had nice stuff. I love jewelry and like to buy it when on vacation, like souvenirs. Affordable yet sparkly ones.
I had a hard time deciding where I would even start, but thought that I would get a nice earring and necklace set in the faux rose gold color and found some cute items on the 50% off rack. A pair of horseshoe dangling earrings and a firefly necklace, both in gold.
The girls were just so friendly and nice to let me know that there is one in the Stonestown Galleria in SF. The prices are inexpensive, so I could see myself getting out of hand with some sparkly accessories and had to cut myself off, until next time.

I love that all the pretty sparklies are arranged by color scheme which makes it easy for me to zero in on what I am on the hunt for.
I love that there are oodles of lovely accessories such as purses, belts, shoes, hats, scarves, and even some clothing items to be had that just happen to match perfectly with the pretty sparklies.
I love that all you comely sparklies et al. are now conveniently located downtown Portland just for me.
