Cafe Mango

They recently moved across the street to a smaller location but I gotta say, I like it better than their old spot. It gives you that homey feeling the moment you walk in and the workers just make you feel like family.
Coffee is not bad, but not great. I must say though, their mocha tasted really funky. But maybe cause I’m used to Starbucks’ mocha…
The thing that really needs improvement is the food they serve. I ordered a panini which took far too long to prepare (about 8 – 10 minutes?) But it was really good.
I don’t know what I was thinking, but the next time I stopped by, I ordered the teriyaki chicken when I was on a tight schedule. About 15 minutes later, I was given a measly half-​sized chinese take-​out box. Since I was in a hurry, I left Café Mango to meet up with an old friend of mine without opening the box. When I met up with him, he had a large plastic to-​go container with him which was filled with rice, chicken, and an assortment of vegetables that he got from a food cart downtown. When I opened my little Chinese take-​out container I looked in to see where my 7 dollars went. It was a bed of rice with about 9 small cubes of chicken. Needless to say, I’m never getting the teriyaki chicken ever again.
