Honestly the best manicure I’ve ever had in Portland. I’ve been to plenty of nail salons in Portland and I’ve never been as pleased with my gel manicure. On our way to the salon, my friend jokingly said that the nail technicians were going to do a terrible job because it was Christmas Eve and they probably just wanted to get out of there. Holly took her time and really paid attention to detail. I moved to LA and I’m back home for the holidays, so I’m upset that I can’t get my nails done by Holly every couple weeks. But I’ll definitely come and see her whenever I’m back home!

Best nails and spa truly REP’S their name!!! Very gentle kind hearted family owned business. Their selection of nail colors are AMAZING. great relaxation spa chairs with a warm vibe… and most of all their business etiquette very professional.

I just moved to Portland 4months ago and I’ve been to a lot of nail shops but none are like this one. They have the most up lifting attitudes, and they really try their best to make sure you are happy with how your nails come out. Le is the one that always does my hands… They even went out of their way to go and buy these certain diamonds I wanted on my nails and came back just in time for them to go on. I will never go to another nail shop even if I go out of town. Nobody can do nails better then the Best Nails And Spa

My favorite place to get my nails done. I’ll be honest, I used to think it wasn’t very popular because I rarely saw anyone in there when I went to get my nails done so I assumed the service would be bad. But they are always consistent, they remember me and are almost always able to fit you in. They do waxing very well, too! Compared to another place I went which is closer to my house, who missed SO MANY PATCHES of hair on my legs, best nails is not only thorough but gentle. I have had a regular manicure here, shellac, pedicures and waxing and they do a great job with each thing, every time. They also make me feel like a valued customer because they always remember me. And I love it

Best deluxe pedicure I have ever had! It has all the elements of deluxe pedicures I have had, i. e. hot stone massage, paraffin wax, awesome foot massage, to create one fabulously relaxing experience! Definitely my favorite!

I love Best Nails and Spa! Tina and her staff are amazing! My sister and I have been coming here since February, and keep coming back! I told my sister that I didn’t want to leave a review, because then everyone would find out about this awesome place lol! :) We came on my birthday May 9^th, and I didn’t like the way the color looked on my nails after we left. My sister and I returned, and Tina was happy to add another coat of a different shellac paint and another layer of top coat until I was happy (AND AT NO EXTRA CHARGE)! She is the sweetest lady! I am so picky about my nail color, and she is always so patient with me :)
Also, I witnessed a lady from Washington being rude to the one of the nail technicians because she didn’t know that it is Oregon law to bring your own nail kit with you for sanitation reasons. Tina was so kind to this woman explaining that it is Oregon law that if you do not bring your own, you have to buy one there ($ 2.00 lady). The lady continued to be rude until some of the other customers spoke up to her. Tina remained professional and kept saying that she was sorry, and that it’s Oregon law.

They were so nice. And quick! My tech didn’t speak at all, but did a pretty good job. A few times I had to point out missing spots, and there were a few nails she had to go through and get the fuzz off after polish had been applied. But over all I had a really great experience.

I have been going to this salon about every three weeks for a couple years now. It started with a Groupon, but now I ignore all the offers for other salons I receive in my email box. The employees are friendly, and the salon itself is very spacious. I’m never overwhelmed by smells that could set off an asthma attack as has occurred in smaller, less well ventilated salons. I’ve always left feeling satisfied with the job they’ve done. They now have more than 100 shellac nail colors! If I’ve been disappointed by anything, I mention it to the manager in a respectful way, and she has been very responsive. I’ve witnessed complete rudeness on the part of some people, especially those who resent the $ 2 charge for a nail kit. The State of Oregon requires this, and frankly it is for your benefit. Go out to the car and get your kit or stop whining and pay the $ 2. Don’t take it out on these women. You are not a princess!

This is my absolute favorite place to get my nails done. In fact, it’s the only place I go anymore!
I have relatively weak nails, so shellac was getting to be a joke no matter where I went. I have gone to many places and it always falls off within a week or two at the very most, if I’m lucky.
The ladies here do the shellac RIGHT and actually stays on my nails for at least 2 weeks!
They always put a smile on my face here and make me feel so comfortable. Even if months go by without having time to get my nails done, they still welcome me with a smile and «hi Mandy! So good to see you!»
Somewhere to look forward to. Even for my impatient 7 year old daughter

A friend of mine recommended this nail place, and I was pleasantly surprised!
I went in on a Friday afternoon with a friend, without an appointment– they were very welcoming and provided great service.
The place is big, clean and quiet. It was nice to be able to get our nails done and talk without a lot of distractions.
I got a great pedicure and am very happy. I will definitely be returning!

Wow. If I could give zero stars I would. Their customer service here sucks. Like… Sorry I’m not sorry your life is awful but don’t take it out on your customers.
So I bought 2 groupons for this place. I used one and gave one to my friend. When I got my nails done with my groupon my nails were fine. Like. 3.5 stars fine. Nothing spectacular. My friend never used hers so I called this place to see if they would take the unused portion toward service. They said yes but I need an appt. ok fine, I scheduled an appt. something didn’t sit well with me so I called to make sure I could use the expired groupon. Now the answer is no. What? You guys can’t figure out your answer amongst yourselves? So I call groupon to get my money back so I can purchase something else. Groupon gets back to me and told me they would use the groupon. So I called just now and talked to a guy who said no they won’t and groupon needs to call them. When I asked his name, he mumbled something then hung up.
Seriously there are a million nail places in portland. Don’t waste your time with this joke of a business.

Went here with a bridal party for a shellac mani/​pedi and was pleasatly surprised. CASH ONLY. The technician was quick and clean and professional.

Love this place! Everyone was very friendly. I got a full set with nail art and it was perfect, last three weeks before I needed a fill, no secret charges here.

My mom and I stopped in here today on our never-​ending quest to find a good nail place for our «Mom-​Dates». We have been all over the place, and while my mom is ok sacrificing quality to save a buck, as a stylist I tend to get squeamish if I note code violations or really appalling customer service.
Best Nails and Spa was a breath of fresh air!!! The facilities are clean, open, well aired and accommodating. There’s no rushing you through your service with a line backing up, they spend time doing a wonderful job and making conversation with you. We were there on a wednesday afternoon and it was easy to make an appointment for our mani/​pedi.
Not only that, but the technician was quick with my fill, and deftly executed the pointy nails I asked for, my manicure looks just like the magazine.
We are making this our spot, and I look forward to coming back in for their spa packages when it’s time for my bridal shower!

I got a groupon since they’re in the neighborhood. I went in the Saturday before Mother’s day to get my mani and pedi. I didn’t have an appointment, but the girl (I think her name was Vikki) accommodated me and got me right in. Picked out my polish and got into the chair for my pedicure. Their chairs are great! My old usual place on the West side where I used to live didn’t have chairs this good. I got great back massage out of it!
My esthetician did a great job with both my toes and my fingernails, even suggesting a complimentary color to the color I had chosen for my toes. We had easy, light conversation and I was out of there within an hour. My toes still look great a few weeks later!
I do like that they only use your nail kits, which I keep in my glove box in my car. I’ll definitely be back!
Make sure to remove your polish or they will charge extra to remove it.

The location is a bit out of the way for me, but I return because of the friendliness of the staff and the great foot/​leg massage that comes with the Pedi. I have never been disappointed with their service (and I come at least once a month).
The massage chairs seem to be too nice for the place, though ;) Ask for Yen, she does an amazing job and she can speak English, which is a big plus. Remove your own nail polish before and bring your nail kit, and you won’t get charged an extra $ 2-​$ 3.
This is my go-​to place for a high quality manicure or pedicure. Did I mention their prices are very reasonable? It’s worth the drive!

Stopped by on Thursday afternoon without an appointment and my groupon deal in tow. They were able to get me in right away and my services were decent. My lady was fairly quiet so when she mumbled something about a nail kit I declined but then she explained to me that it was Oregon Law to bring your own so I had to buy one for $ 2…an unfortunate hindsight I’d wish I’d know previously because quite honestly the «kit» can’t be more then $ 1. However my services were great and she was meticulous. I really enjoyed this place because I didn’t feel like my gal was as distracted as some nail places I’ve had in the past (staring off, looking around a lot) and the biggest point was that I didn’t feel rushed at all.
The place itself is big and clean so I’d recommend it to anyone not really looking for pampering but a good service.

Great mani/​pedi for under $ 40! The ladies who work there are super friendly and do a great job.
