Clean, comfortable, professional — this is my favorite nail place. Family owned and operated, they do a great job and have many regular customers – I’m one of them! I like that they make and keep appointments. They do walk-ins if they aren’t booked, but it’s a good place to have an appointment.

I can’t believe I haven’t gone to this place sooner! Kim is one of the sweetest lady you’ll ever meet! My nails are feeling refresh and oh so pretty again! Just perfect for this crazy Portland weather. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I usually do my own polish and only get a pedicure about once a year, but after standing on my feet all day they needed some extra attention. Boston Nails is the closest nail place to my house, which is nice because I didn’t want to walk far. The owner was super, super nice and she did a great job on my toes. And the prices are very affordable. I may have to start doing this more often :)

I have been going to Kim for 20 + years and would not consider ever going anywhere else. She is very professional and friendly, her salon is immaculate and I have never experienced any problems with Kim or Jenny. I can always get an appointment whenever I need one. I get many compliments on my nails and she takes good care of my feet. Regarding Brandy’s review, it sounds like she was the one that was rude and tempermental. Kim has every right to refuse service to those type of people. Kim is the BEST !!

First of all, Brandy’s review is totally unrepresentative of Boston Nails. Read some of her other reviews on nail salons – she is a diva, by her own admission. I have been going to Kim for over a year and a half. Randomly, my first review was filtered. Read that, and the 7 other filtered reviews. Kim and her daughter-in-law Jenny are the best. Both of my sisters and my brother-in-law get pedicures, and several of my friends get mani/pedi’s too. I have referred others as well. If you are embarrassed by toe nail fungus, have ingrown nails or are even missing a toe nail, she takes care of you. Everything is clean, sterilized and top-notch.

In regard to the review from Brandy E. below I have to disagree with her version. I was in the salon when this all was taking place. I can guarantee Kim did not shut the door on her foot. My suggestion to those who make appointments for pedicures and manicures… make sure you schedule for the services above and beyond the basic ones. In addition please make sure you are on time to allow the person to complete such tasks as to which this young lady was late to her original appointment. I have been going to Kim for over 13 years and find her to be professional and tries very hard to accommodate her clients. She has my business for years to come.

I had gone to this place a couple of times before and never had any problems. I made an appointment today to get shellac on my nails and toes. The lady on the phone said it’d be fine, and I told her I’d be there at 3:30z I get there, and tell them I want a white shellac on my toes and nails, and then she tells me that she doesn’t do shellac on toes because it «takes too much time». How the hell can you not do shellac on toes?! I have always gotten Shellac on my toes and have been to at least 20 different nail salons. It’s the only way my pedicure doesn’t chip! She said«well you can only do a manicure today», and I said«No, I don’t want just a manicure, I was planning on getting my toes done too. I have to work every other day this week. I’m just going to find a different nail salon.» And she said she told me on the phone that they didn’t do Shellac on toes, and I told her that if I had known that I would have never came all the way in! As I was walking out the door, she started shutting the door behind me before I was even out and said«just don’t call again, just forget my number k? Bye.» And shut the door in my foot. I can’t believe how rude she was to me just because I didn’t want to stay and get just a manicure. If you aren’t going to offer a service that EVERYOTHERNAILSALONINTHECOUNTRY offers, then you shouldn’t get mad when a customer wants to go somewhere else. Avoid this place at all costs, the owner is rude and temperamental.

Going to Boston Nails is like a trip to grandma’s house. The business is located in a quaint older home with a welcoming garden. Inside the shop is immaculate. Kim has recently added additional spa chairs to accommodate her new assistant daughter in law Jennie. Together they are offering complete nail and pedicure services. I would not consider going elsewhere. I

I have gone to other nail salons but Kim at Boston Nails is outstanding. My mother and I have gone to her for nine years and I highly recommend her.

Kim is pleasant and careful, but slow. I mentioned I had to leave at a certain time and she still did the whole thing about smooshing lotion on my feet and legs for what seemed like hours on end(I was late). Definitely a better place to go if you want to luxuriate and be pampered, it just wasn’t quite right for what I wanted.
