Evelyn Ehlis by far does the best cut and style. Her technique and attention to detail shows by her training in Seattle. It’s always great to see her and I highly recommend her.

I have been having my hair styled by Kimberly at Bella Pearl ever since she arrived back in Portland. She is amazing and makes my fine hair look amazing! She guides me to on trend styles that fit my personality and the time I have to spend on my hair. Kimberly is an excellent stylist and I highly recommend her!

Make sure to ask for Kimberly! She is such good company and really knows her stuff. This is by far my favorite place to get my hair cut in Portland.

I just recently got my hair done by Kristy and she did such a good job that I will for sure be back as a regular client. I had a stylist strip my hair over a year ago and no one that I have seen, a new stylist every three months, has done it right. Everytime I would walk out of a salon thinking well there goes another 120 for nothing. Kristy listened to what I wanted took her time, she even ran out to get me another parking pass while my hair was processing. She made sure I walked out of there not just with the service that I paid for but the hair that I paid for. I was thoroughly impressed. I will absolutely be back in three months

Evelyn has been doing my hair for about 8 months now and she has completely trained my out of control curls to be docile when necessary and absolutely bodacious on command.
She rocks, and makes my curls rock too.

After quite a bit of research I decided to give Bella Pearl Salon a try and was beyond satisfied! I booked my appointment with Kristy online. She gave me an incredible cut and full highlight. It’s always nerve racking trying a new salon but I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you book here. I highly recommend Kristy as well. She listened to what I wanted and made my hair look fantastic all while making me feel comfortable as a new client. My experience at Bella Pearl salon was perfect.

Britt is the best! I will never let anyone else do my hair. Everyone at bellapearl salon is great and very knowledgeable. The receptionists are also very friendly and welcoming.

This place is terrific, a very pleasant and clean salon but the best part is obviously the phenomenal talent behind the cuts and color. I have been going to my stylist Britt for almost 12 years and followed her to 3 different salons. This is by far the best location. Britt has dealt with my hair at all lengths, colors and conditions. She ALWAYS makes it feel healthy and look shiny! She is great with blondes, highlights and rich browns. Those are the only colors I have had done by her, but I’m confident that she is talented with all. Her cuts are unbeatable and she always makes sure that I’m pleased with what’s been done (not to mention has accommodated me on short notice in the past when I needed something fixed or redone after an appt).
Point being, Bella Pearl is great and Britt is your girl! Amy also does terrific waxing and I hear her facials are out of this world.
One tip though, book far in advance! Appointments fill up very fast with these gals!

I have been going to Kate for years but after my boyfriend gave his guy stylist props on Unilocal,knew it was way past due! Kate is fantastic. Healthy blonde hair when I am so dirty blonde! She takes time to color the same pieces so no zebra striping. I tried others while she needed time off to be a mom, but counted the days until her return. Honestly, great color, very consistent, and healthy hair I get compliments on all the time. Always give Kate credit! Quality color and great conversation? This is your girl!

I was rescued by Kelly Meakins at Bella Pearl after a bad haircut & color experience at another salon and I’ve never trusted anyone since (it’s been 7 years!). She is the perfect combination of classy and trendy and keeps me young, fresh and feeling great about my hair. Plus, Kelly has an excellent ‘black book’ and is a great resource for just about any referral (she should publish I swear!). I highly recommend Kelly to women looking for a hair stylist who will never disappoint.

I love coming to see Kelly at Bella Pearl salon. She is so happy, cheerful and energetic. I always love how she does my hair. I am not very creative in knowing what I want, and she always has great ideas. I also love the wine! Kelly is such a great conversationalist, I always feel like I’ve just spent time with a truly great friend.

After becoming engaged, I knew I wanted Anna involved because I had been so pleased with her service. We discussed my wedding plans many times on each of my visits for cut/​color (well over a year prior to the wedding). Unfortunately, with less than three months to go I heard third hand that she could no longer be available because she had booked a second bride on the same day. Even though the other bride was booked second, I was told (again third hand) that she would assist me in «finding a replacement.» If I had any questions about this I could «call her to talk about it.» Needless to say, we had nothing to talk about and I was left scrambling to find a new stylist for my wedding day. I did learn my lesson… when planning big events always get a contract.

I have been coming to Bella Pearl for almost 6 years and have always had a good experience. I have never left feeling dissatisfied with colour or cut. All the stylists know what they are doing and you hair will certainly be in safe hands.

Got a lovely haircut from Carrie, and a make up consultation for free! Wonderful, friendly atmosphere.

I had an absolute wonderful experience today at Bella Pearl. I was referred to this salon by my aunt and uncle who have been coming to see Anni (owner) at Bella Pearl for years. The location is easy to get to and parking wasn’t a problem on the street. The salon itself is beautiful, well maintained, and inviting. I was immediately greeted when I can into the salon. Very friendly staff. A big bonus for me is that they carry all products that I love to use: Bumble & Bumble, PureOlogy, and Dermalogica.
My hair stylist was Carrie, and she was terrific! She did a perfect job on my hair. It is exactly what I discussed with her and more. I consider myself pretty high maintenance and have high standards. Carrie understood everything that I wanted, and gave me a fabulous haircut! She was super friendly and I was able to talk to her with ease. I felt like I’ve known her for years, and that made my first experience that much better. I will definitely keep going back to see her and this salon (I already made my 6 week out appt) =)

Beautiful salon, great stylists and a glass of wine. Who could ask for more?! I arrived slightly late due to traffic and parking (coming from Beaverton), but they were still able to fit me in. FYI… their cut off time is 15 min. after the appointment.
It’s always a bit scary seeing a new stylist, but I was confident that my stylist, Anna, would do a fabulous job based on all her reviews. I must say that everyone was right, she is absolutely amazing with color.
To add to the greatness, scheduling is pretty stress free. I’ve been able to schedule appointments outside of my M-​F, 8 – 5 schedule. Always a bonus, plus easier parking! But remember, call to schedule since they are «appointment only».

I was recommended to this salon by a co-​worker who worked as their receptionist. I made an appointment with Evelyn who even stayed late (7:15pm) so I could go from work. I got a great cut (Rhianna-​style bob) and have gone back four times since. She does a great job and is nice and pleasant to talk to, plus the second I walk in I get a glass of white wine. Last time I needed a haircut ASAP and she was away, I saw Kelly instead and she also did a great job. They cut the same way too, wash, basic shape cut dry then cut layers-​which works best!
The girl who recommended Bella Pearl to me uses Kelly for color and Evelyn for cut too, as does three other people I know.
