A bit small on the inside but otherwise a great family thai place — highly recommend their yellow curry

This place is literally terrible. I don’t know how they stay in business with Pok Pok, Chiang Mai, and Authentic Thai within a few blocks. I’m the kind of person to try a place a few times before writing a review, but the food was so bad that I wouldn’t bother with a second shot. This was more along the lines of a cheap Chinese joint than a decent restaurant. I find it hard to believe anyone would choose it over the three previous restaurants mentioned. I guess some people really like bland, tasteless Americanized versions of Thai food with sugary sauces and poorly cooked ingredients. Enjoy! Try elsewhere. You can easily do much better.

I really like this place. Great food, very nice. The atmosphere is well, a little run down, but it’s not dirty or anything. The food is reliable, and always pleases with big portions. I would choose it over pok pok across the street any day.

Despite what others have said, this place is awesome. Sure it might not be the best setting or décor(I had takeout) but the food is excellent! The ones who have complained must not know true Thai Cuisine. The other complainers are from the Pok Pok overflow, and Pok Pok isn’t authentic either. Give this place a shot, the owner pours her heart into the food and it shows… one of the best Red Curries I’ve had. period!

Our usual favorite — Authentic Thai on Division– was closed on July 4th so we decided to try this neighborhood Thai place out. We’ve driven past it 1000 times but never went there. As always, you have to try the pad thai to determine the quality of a Thai restaurant. Theirs was so-so being a bit dry and bland. However, the other two dishes we tried were quite good, including the cashew chicken and rama chicken. There was a great peanut sauce and the chicken was of good quality. We ordered it as takeout, and were thankful we did so. The sidewalk seating consists of 3 – 4 small tables and inside it was nearing 85 – 90 degrees on a semi-warm day. Our takeout took 40 minutes to walk away with versus the 25 minutes they quoted on the phone. If I had to, I’d eat there again but a great Thai place is very close down the road, so I doubt I will return.
