Manchester Pub

Great, if you smoke. Not so great, if you don’t.
We decided to come here because it’s close to home and a pretty laid back environment. This night was a Saturday, and the place was busy. As we walked up, there was a crowded outdoor smoking section just to the left of the entrance. Not thinking too much of it, we went in and found one of two open tables left. I ordered drinks, and we sat and observed our surroundings. We immediately noticed the inescapable smoke smell in the area. Their outdoor smoking section is attached to the inside seating area, and they just leave the door wide open! It was completely overpowering, so we ended up leaving after one drink.
When I cashed out, the bartender made a comment about how quick our visit was, so I mentioned to her about the smoke, and she kind of awkwardly shook it off. I get that it’s a bar and all, but in Washington, it’s illegal to smoke within 25 feet of a door or open window. There were probably a dozen people smoking immediately outside this open door. Our clothes reeked of smoke just from the 10 – 15 minutes we were there. If that’s the customer base they want to cater to, that’s fine, but until they do something about the smoke, I won’t be back.
The only thing keeping this from one star is that service is good, and their food is pretty decent for bar food. Fix the smoke, and it would be 3 – 4 stars.

Great Pizza! I took my family there from out of town and they loved the pizza and the view. Noisey at night, as most bars should be, and quieter at lunch. I was also impressed that they accommodated my wheelchair and set up a table for me.

We love this place! The food, the atmosphere and the service is all great. We have never had a single thing we didn’t think was great. It’s a quaint little place with a friendly atmosphere. If you get to Port Orchard be sure to stop in. We are locals here and it’s one of our favorite places when we are in the Manchester area.

When I think of the show cheers I think of Manchester pub. I have been going there for about 4 years now. It has a very warm and inviting feel to it. Not to crowded like the moon dogs. Drinks are fair priced and the staff are amazing. From the bartender to the dj, you feel welcome right when you walk in. Rarely bars greet you when you walk in but these woman/​man who run the bar try their best to at least greet you as you walk in and tell you to have a good night as you leave. Fast, accurate and knowledgeable with their drinks: o great people skills even when they are slammed. They make eye contact with you when sit at the bar when they are packed to show that they see you and will be with you in a moment. Love the pizza: P not going to lie it is pricy for the size but hell its pizza made fresh and cooked there at the bar. That being my only gripe though. I have watched this bar expand and constantly upgrading and changing to accommodate its customers. The dj is funny, warm and kind, an all around good woman :) also great to see her join in on songs and very professional. You tend to know most of the people at the bar if you go there a enough times. Personally I love that. Oh I guess I have one last gripe. Wish there was more cover or at least more chairs for when its crowded. Though not a huge deal since I am mainly dancing with my girl. Love Manny! Beautiful view of seattle and a small walk to the water. I could go on and on.

Best pub in the area for a night out. Great owners, staff and a good crowd. I would continue to go if I still lived in the area.
Drink prices are decent and the food is pretty good too.

Manchester Pub offers a fantastic beer selection! For others like me who have gluten intolerance, they have Stella Artois Cidre on tap, omission pale ale and New Grist pale ale! I just moved here from Utah, and I am thrilled to find a neighborhood bar like this one. Fresh seafood from Oregon on Sundays, free pool everyday, and great specials on liquor and micro brews! Kerri Lou sold us on the fresh fish, and it was delicious. Thus far the staff has proven to be friendly and efficient! Awesome local crowd! I will continue to frequent this bar!

A very relaxed environment with fast friendly service, amazing fresh seafood, extremely cheep drinks, a large patio, free pool, a great view of Seattle, juke box, live music and open mic, and one of the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever set foot in at a bar. All in all a great five star bar in my opinion!!!

This is a super place to relax, have a drink, a little food such as pizza or a brat with sauerkraut. It is not a restaurant but they offer some yummy pub fare. The staff is very friendly and provide excellent service. The view they have of Seattle across the bay is very nice. Stop by it’s a great little place!

$ 13.75 for a Crown, house whiskey and diet, and a Mac and Jack’s? I’ve been doing it wrong.
This is the diviest of dives but that is just a-​okay for what it is. It seemed to be mostly locals which makes sense.
Friendly bartender and patrons. The view of the Sound can’t be beat. Would definitely return if I’m around these parts again and in need of imbibement!

Great staff, low key atmosphere, fun karaōke, entertaining live music, Blue Moon on tap… what more do you need?

i love this place! being a local and growing up a block away it was always the i wanna go there spot. im now a regular there. i love the wings and the pizza. great crowd and amazing barteners. im frustrated that the smoking area outside being closed down it was nice to keep dry and warm and be able to smoke with my drink. the pool and dart crowd are great also drinks are reasonably priced. food is a bit pricey when there isnt a special going on but worth it! it has a really great home town feeling and the bartenders dont put up with crap they will kick you out if you start anything which is really nice to know its a no shit pub. your tab is safe here also ive never had other people’s drinks put on my tab which is more then i can say about other bars. also dont be afraid to call a cab or ask for a ride from someone there are no issues with leaving your car there for the night it is a safe neighborhood very tiny and really safe take it from a manchester local =)

Nice little spot near the water. We went in on a sunny Sunday afternoon and sat outside. I liked that it was covered, so that you could enjoy the beautiful weather without the hot sun beating down on you.
I saw a few people eating and food looked pretty good. I heard from a few people in there that the crab cakes are amazing. I’ll have to go back and check it out.

This is a nice little pub. I went there for the Sunday night jam hosted by «Harmonica Dave». It was a lot of fun. The drinks there are very reasonably priced and not weak. I had not inteded to eat anything when I went there. I thought I would just have a couple drinks and listen to some music until the bartender started frying up some crab cakes. Man, they really smelled good and they were only like $ 2 so I tried one. I am glad I did as it was actually really good. Not exactly what I would expect for «bar» food cooked on a hot plate behind the bar. If you go there be sure to try them.

Absolutely packed on Friday and Saturday. This place used to be a morgue before Gary and Becky got a hold of it.

First time here… stopped in for a beer after a motorcycle ride around Kitsap and Mason county. Manchester Pub is classic neighborhood bar… friendly staff, pool table, electronic darts, outdoor seating. Great view of the Seattle skyline… I bet it is a wonderful view at night. I saw one of the pizza’s pass by… looked like something I would order if we were there for food. A great stop!

The Pub is a great place to stop and have a beer after a ride. It is a Biker friendly bar. It has good music, great atmosphere, and a view of Seattle across the water, which is the best way to see Seattle.

Friendly, cheap, and one of the best open aired seating spaces in the area. This place is the bees knees for having a drink in on a Summer day. It’s sort of a biker bar, but that just adds to it’s charms. Good pool tables as well and a awesome view of the water front. You can lose a lot of time here.

Just moved to town and the Manchester Pub happens to be the closest bar to our house and we’re glad it is.
It’s pretty simple– bar, pool table, couple of TVs, jukebox– it’s just what you want in a good neighborhood spot. Service has been great. They have some food– pizzas, dogs, wings, etc– but it’s not a restaurant.
I like sitting in the outdoor seating area. It’s an open aired space with tables and a couple couches. It’s a great place to hang out on a cool rainy northwest afternoon. A bit of rain mixing with a bit of a seabreeze while sipping a PBR– it doesn’t get much better.

The Manchester Pub! After closing down for awhile, the new owners, Fox and Becky, have turned this small pub into a masterpiece. It has a great nautical theme, pool tables, clean bathrooms, music, open mic night, great beer and drinks, and an outdoor seating area for smoking and drinking (with a heater). What more can you ask for? The people are friendly, the staff is great, and the place is registered as a Biker Bar.
This is a great place to relax, play some pool, and get your party on. Right in Manchester, walk out the door and you can see Seattle across the water. Just a short walk to the boat launch and park, get a beautiful view of the Seattle skyline.
The only downside to this bar is the menu. Its great if you just want a quick snack before you start drinking, but if you are looking for a full meal, you may want to stop somewhere first. But the Family Inn is right next door and they have great food.
