Great spot. Great beers. Fun vibe. They don’t have food so bring a sandwich from Hitchcock Deli down the street. A perfect combination!

Overpriced, but that’s Bainbridge I suppose. Also, pretty sure they added a tip to my drink… So it goes.

If you’re visiting Bainbridge Island you ABSOLUTELY have to hit up Alehouse on Winslow. I moved here a few months back, but have been bringing any visitors I have here for a day trip and everyone loves it. The bar is beautiful and bright, and it has such a relaxed & fun vibe(tons of board games to pick from, too). Their flights are a great option so you can try out lots of their local selections, which rotate frequently. I’m obsessed with this spot!

Swung in here on a Tuesday afternoon, the place was quiet but not dead; I really like the ambiance they have going. There was a fairly large beer selection with some fantastic choices, as well as a large pile of games to play while you chill. This place is for beer and beer alone as they don’t have a kitchen(though I saw a small pile of chip bags and other snacks), bring your own from elsewhere if you please.

Sweet little place to grab a drink! Nice atmosphere, the bar tender was very friendly and knowledgable. I’d say the only downside was no food. Maybe this is just because I was hungry though. Overall super cool little place when exploring in the area. Id recommend it for sure.

We stopped by this bar on our power hour bike tour of Bainbridge Island. The décor and vibe in here is super cool. Clean and modern with lots of natural woods throughout. There were plenty of seating options for our group of 6 to get some drinks. No hard liquor served here, only beers.

This was the only business of its kind open on the island on New Years Day. The service wasn’t very friendly, but we still enjoyed the atmosphere(large windows, comfortable seating, board games), the beer selection(they even had a rare Belgian beer from a brewery we visited once in Brugge, Belgium), the TVs(good for football watching), and the fact that we could bring in outside food. Since there’s no kitchen here, it’s also dog friendly!

Nice place to grab a beer and play games. Sampled a few different beers… didn’t find any remarkable or out of this world, but they were good. The building itself it very nice, close to the ferry terminal with lots of seating either in booths or high tops. Lots of window to look outside, and they sell bags of ranch popcorn made locally which tastes AMAZING. Seriously, ranch popcorn sounds crazy, but it goes perfectly with beer and Cards Against Humanity. If you’re in the area and trying to kill time, or you want to try something new, stop in.

I loved this little spot! We stopped here for drinks on our trip to Bainbridge & loved the atmosphere. Super laid back– you can bring your own food in & so many cool, unique drinks. I loved that they had board games and card games for us to play, too.

Huge selection and great ambience. Also has board games to keep you busy. It’s just a short walk from the ferry.

The alehouse is a great spot for craft beer relaxing, or catching a game on Bainbridge. The beer menu is extensive and has a good variety of local craft beer. The setup is very cozy and they have big tvs for games as well as a collection of games like Jenga and connect four. Service was very friendly and helpful with beer selections. The beer was delicious and enhanced by the atmosphere for sure.

When you miss a ferry to Seattle, where do you go? The Alehouse next door, of course! We strolled in here late one night to a half-full room of islanders. They all seemed content and chit-chatty with each other and perhaps frequent this place. The number of beers on tap is unlikely to get dull. there’s plenty! They also have an amazing cache of board games available. You sunk my battleship. There is a lot of indoor seating, the inside resembles a little bit of alpine lodge and a little bit of bierhaus. I quite like it. There’s a somewhat awkward outdoor seating that basically wraps around the building by means of a coiled rope. Not a bad place. Would not go out of my way to come back, but would happily go if ever suggested.

What a fabulous spot! On a Sunday, we took the Wash State Ferry to the beautiful Bainbridge Island and this was our first and only stop. The Alehouse has a great atmosphere, excellent bartenders and a good beer selection. The staff were quick to give suggestions for non touristy places to visit in and around Seattle and made us feel right at home. They also have Jenga, Cards against Humanity and many other games to play should you feel so inclined. I just can’t say enough nice things about the Alehouse.

Pretty nice place and nice environment. Staff are a little pushy, but they are very helpful. Warning: the whole ale house is considered a bar, so no minors or anyone under 21 are allowed inside. Pets are allowed to come inside and they have water bowls for pets. They do not serve food though, only alcoholic beverages. 3.9÷5

My wife & I took the ferry over from Seattle on a whim, and walked around a bit before catching the a ferry back… we had about 40 minutes to kill, and stopped here, because it was close to the ferry. they have a great craft beer selection, and good food. the service was great, even with a packed bar. a must stop if your looking for a good, cold beer.

The Alehouse is a beautiful building with an extremely convenient location across from the ferry terminal. The guys who own it and bartend are hilarious and friendly, and there is always a large and interesting selection of beers and a few ciders and couple wines. They are super dog friendly– so as long as your dog gets along with other dogs and people and doesn’t bark, they are welcome! A lot of people get annoyed because it’s BYOF(Bring your own food), but the building doesn’t have the facilities… get over it. There are a multitude of places to order from that deliver, or are within walking distance. Overall, I love the Alehouse and come often(it’s right by my place). It fills a much-needed niche for a beautiful, casual, beer-lovers bar on downtown Winslow.

Greatest place ever. My first time in, Mike chose my flight, introduced me to multiple new beers, and made me a devout customer. Travis(T-Bone) is a trivia master. He also recommends great beer and makes the time enjoyable — a gem of a human being. The environment, in general, is a glorious thing to behold. Friendly bartenders, friendly customers, great beer, good games, good music. What more can you ask for? I’ll definitely be returning EVERY time I’m on Bainbridge!

The only thing that redeemed this uppity island. This place was friendly, laid-back, and very comfortable. The bartender was excellent and gave me some great recommendations. Excellent and varied beer selection. Nothing negative I can say about this place.

Took the ferry to Bainbridge with absolutely no knowledge of where the downtown was? I loaded up my Unilocal and searched for a bar. 3 minute walk from the ferry building, sold! Before we went in for our beers, we made sure to walk the full Winslow strip, granted all the shops were closed on a Sunday night. It was still a nice walk. Coming back, we were greeted by a sweet bartender. Let me just say this is now our favorite alehouse because every beer on tap, doesn’t matter, is $ 6 for a pint??? Can you believe that? We can’t. There was a cute bull dog pouncing around and other dog came in. I love how laid back they are with dogs. Not as common in the SF area. Another perk, they have games for you to play. We grabbed Rakko and loved it. Take the time to read the rules because it’s a fun game. Around the corner we found out there is a bakery… darn! Or else we could have picked up some snacks. Ingested these perfect beers: Cream Ale Oatmeal Ale Nut Ale
