The Alley Room is one of our favorite places in Port Huron. The atmosphere is intimate but inviting. The owner often projects black and white movies on the brick walls; a very cool effect. The music always fits the atmosphere and is never too loud as is the case in many restaurants. If you are looking for the best pizza in town — the Alley Room is the place. The pizzas are European thin-crust and are completely handmade from the dough to the meatballs. I recommend the Neapolitan. Check out the Alley Room, you will not be disappointed!

Great pizza and sliders! The owner is very personal and we’d love to see this place succeed.

The Alley Room is a quaint, quiet, upscale feeling place for a drink(not serving food at this time). The lighting is minimal, creatinig a cozy atmosphere. Old black and white movies are projected on the brick wall for an eclectic atomophere. The liquor selection is minimal but they do have liquor as well as some great wines and beer. This caters to the over 40 crowd. Only open weekends in the evenings.

The Alley Room is a great place to relax and enjoy drink and conversation. Bring a date or a few friends and enjoy the intimate, inviting atmosphere — you won’t be disappointed! I have been here several times over the past year or so. Things are a bit louder on the nights when they have live music, but it’s still a good time. My favorite experiences have been when it’s a little quieter and you can just unwind. Some of the notable elements are the fireplace(great for cooler evenings), and the projector playing old movies on the brick wall! As for the drinks, though I admit I may not be the most discerning critic, I will say I have never been disappointed. I agree with another reviewer who said pricing was appropriate. If you are looking for a place that sets itself apart from other offerings in Port Huron(in a good way), try The Alley Room.

The Alley Room is one of the only bars in Port Huron that I feel is actually catered to grown ups and I love the place. Drink prices are on the higher side for Port Huron but completely appropriate. Atmosphere is relaxed, dark and inviting. Never loud or rowdy which is a scene almost impossible to find in Port Huron on a weekend. Also, the cheese platters here are have some really great cheeses and the price of these is *very* reasonable. My only complaint is the addition of live music Thursdays. For a place that’s only open 3 days a week, they’ve managed to devote 1⁄3 of their operating time to music that is WAAAY too loud. The place is too small and acoustically inappropriate to accomodate live music. You can’t hear the person sitting right next to you and that’s really a shame for an otherwise really great place. Music aside though, there is no other bar in Port Huron that I would recommend over this one.
