I guess I got to give 4 stars because I keep going there. I mean, there are other options in town and just four miles outside in Manchester, there is a huge market. So … Well… I go to those too. Four stars means that you would go back, right? Would you go back to a three star joint?

Stood here for 8 minutes in line before anyone took our order. Then proceeded to advise us that half of the items on their breakfast menu were frozen(including bagels) so we couldn’t order them and it would be to time consuming for her to de-thaw a bagel. I’m appalled. Then don’t advertise them to patrons if your deliberately refusing to serve it. After finally ordering just 2 coffees, it’s been 12 minutes and she’s still trying to figure out the machine. Coupled with a poor attitude makes this a horrendous experience. If you’re looking for friendly staff, timely service and food you can order, don’t stop here.

The curry chicken salad was probably the best I’ve had — DELICIOUS! Funny guys working there. Clean, nice coop with good selection.

Stopped in after riding 10 Mile Loop to Point Arena for snacks and drinks. The staff was really friendly and helped to refill our water bottles. Great selection of whole foods and vegan-friendly treats.

Great Market, yummy sandwiches, nice selection.(It’s nice to be in a small town and find a market that has so many options that were right up my alley.) I also had the vegetable soup — and I tried to recreate it at home ’cause it was delish! Still not as good as the one I had here. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because there were flies in the lounge/tables area– enough to where it made uncomfortable to leave my food unprotected. Very slow internet, too:(

Loved this place. We were stranded it Point Arena for a few days waiting on a motorcycle to be fixed, and ate breakfast here with coffee each morning. Fantastic and a great vibe! Absolutely loved it! :)

excellent little market — lots of selection –produce is a little thin but other selections are great –including bulk, organic TP/Paper towels/cleaning supplies, etc. Very nice staff too.

Café is fun and market sells nice items, though you’re not going to find anything on the cheap here. The meat selection is a bit limited, and they actually had run out of chicken which we came to buy. That said, it’s the nicest market in town and the café is a great place to eat your baked goods you bought at Franny’s.

I was trying to kill some time and take a bit of a breather in between a day of shooting at Bowling Ball Beach. The intention was to pick up a bottle of something cold, but ended up walking around the market a bit. Looks to be fresh produce and a decent variety of food stuffs… and an oddly large selection of coconut water(flavored and otherwise) in chilled beverages section. Oh yeah, this is neighborhood market/grocery store. I ended grabbing a mocha after hearing the sound of milk being frothed. So the Starbucks crowd can get their fix along with other handmade goods available for consumption. There are café tables and chairs and bench seating inside at the front. A very relaxed atmosphere. Free wifi available and definitely appreciated.

All kinds of stuff and FRESH… They have a deli, a coffee, tea stand and seating indoors. if your thinking of a picnic lunch they have everything and I do mean everything you would need here, in fact you may have a hard time deciding what you want there is so much. A must if your driving through or staying!!!

Popped in to grab up some food and a cup of of joe on the fly. This gem of a place is THEREALDEAL! Arena Market & Café has everything a food-conscious/socially responsible individual would love! Free trade coffee by the pound, freshly made food, local products, terrific produce, and responsible canned good/packaged food products. VIBE: Chill and relaxed. A place I would like to find myself with a good book on a foggy day! GRUB: The pre-packaged«curry chicken salad»(available in the deli reach-in) was mouth watering, and my cappuccino was divine! Pleased to find that the Arena Market is actually a CO-OP as well! Might have to consider becoming a member. ;)

I was surprised to find such an outstanding organic market in this tiny town(technically a city, but not to appearances). It is a bustling place staffed by friendly people. They have a lunch counter(quinoa salads, veggie sausage sandwich on the day I was there). The store is not very large so they make use of every inch of it and the inventory is obviously thoughtfully and carefully chosen. The organic produce looked great, and there is a generous selection of bulk bins. I left with some Himalayan sea-salted sprouted almonds — it’s that kind of store. I found the prices reasonable for this area, and comparatively better than at the market in Anchor Bay.

Really awesome place! Stop in for a sandwich or whatever the special is for the day. Grab a cool drink or a hot cup of something special and unique. Did I mention that you can also do all of your grocery gettin there? Whenever I travel to California… which is a bunch, I always stop in and see the guys and gals at the Arena Market… there’s always something going on there! Tell’em the Junkman sent you! …and dont be afraid to share a table and make nice nice talk with others… it is Point Arena afterall!

We stopped by here on our way south on a bike tour and it was a pretty cool spot. We got some cheese, bread, and a couple of beers then sat down and hung out a bit. It has free WIFI and we were able to just chill out for a bit. The dude behind the couter was polite and helpful. It is a little expensive though.

This place is really fantastic and has a great vibe. They’ve been open about a year, I just recently learned, and have people working there who are proud locals who love where they live and have pride in what they sell. Its quaint but grand for such a small town. It features an espresso bar, grocery store with a great assortment of in-season oganic produce, and a very well tended to and appetizing salad and soup bar. We drove through on a Monday afternoon and I had a more than satisfying meal from the fresh organic salad bar. My boyfriend had a delicious potato salad that tasted more fresh and satisfying than any potato salad I’ve ever had. I wasn’t that hungry, but the soup made for the day looked excellent, too. The espresso was way better than I expected and to top it off, I couldn’t resist the huge strawberry muffins they had displayed on the counter, baked from that morning.(I had the muffin later than evening, and it was delicious!) They have cosy tables and a spacious place to sit at near the window. If that’s what Point Arena has to offer, along with a great looking cinema accross the street, a hip little pub, and apothecary shop, I’m jealous of anyone living there!
