I have been wanting to try this place for awhile now. Popped in the other day and tried the chicken bibimbap. It was a large serving of food and the presentation was excellent. I will definitely come back for more. The staff is friendly and courteous.

Very tasty and fresh. They have a good selection of bowls(love those short ribs) and you can get either hot or cold! The kimchi is wonderful, but i wish they had some sauce options other than sriracha on the tables… The bowl have good flavor with all the fresh ingredients, but something to pour over it all would bring it together so nicely. Is it bad that i wanted soy sauce?

I ordered the traditional Korean #6 and with beef and it was just as I expected. Great! The beef wasn’t too dry and all the extras in there were perfect. The size, in my opinion, was perfect for me but a little on the bigger size. I also ordered a side of jap chae which wasn’t disappointing at all. Service was good and they do online and phone orders which is convenient. I would highly recommend this place.

Really wanted to like this place more, since it’s so quaint and cute. I’ve had some really delicious Korean fusion pizzas, so I was hoping this would be like that. It was not. The traditional dolsot with the stone bowl was good and what you’d expect from a fast, casual Korean restaurant. I would recommend getting the dolsot and the traditional version. The American version is uncooked veggies, while the traditional is the right mix of cooked and uncooked veggies. The pizza was pretty disappointing. We had the kimchi pizza, and it was just a regular combo pizza with tomato sauce and topped with some kimchi. I was hoping for a more seamless melding of flavors, like gochujang sauce instead of tomato sauce, rather than just adding toppings. My recommendation is to skip the pizza and stick with the traditional Korean dishes.

I will say — seeing an eclectic combination of Korean and pizza together did make me wonder, but I saw this place had good reviews and I decided to give it a try once after work. The location is very unassuming — in a strip mall with some depressing-looking buildings, and the parking lot looked like they had forgot to maintain/address overgrown weeds for years. This did make me pause and question things a bit. However, I was hungry and didn’t feel like trying to look for anything elsewhere. Inside — it was exactly what I pictured. A pizza restaurant with Korean tv. Interesting choice, I do like both foods — just had never seen the two together. I was not disappointed! I went with the short rib bibimbap served in a hot stone bowl. The veggies were fresh, and the bowl was steaming hot! The sauce to add had good flavor, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. This place was obviously popular, as the dining room became closer to full when I was about to leave. My review is 4 stars as I felt it was a little pricey considering what it came with(was actually cheaper getting the same thing during my layover at Seoul earlier this year). However, i enjoyed the meal and could see myself returning in the future.

Great place to eat if you are indecisive — they serve Korean, Arabic, and American/Italian food. So very diverse. — 6.2TRADITIONALDOLSOT [3/5]: Your typical Korean stone bowl, with the meat and sauteed vegetables. We went with brown rice and I was kind of sad to find the rice at bottom of the bowl to be kind of burnt :( — SEAFOODPANCAKE [2/5]: Very sad 4 pieces of pancake. :(Had a hard time finding the seafood. — KIMCHIPANCAKE [2/5]: Also very sad 4 pieces of pancake. Not a lot of kimchi action going on either… You order and pay at the front. It’s almost like a self-dining service. Food was prepared in 15 minutes or so. Not the best tasting food I had, but have to consider the circumstance — it was located in Livermore and next to a huge mall. By the time we finished, a GIANT group of Asian elderly came in. I hypothesize they were from the tour bus that we previously saw at the Livermore outlet. This may be just a part of their tour.

Needed a fast in and out place. Didn’t feel like America, so we found this place. The first thing that caught our eyes was the fact they have pizza and korean food and the rating for this place was not bad. Decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, we kind of wanted to back out because there place looks dead, but decided to go in anyway since we were there. It was a fast food type of place. Order up front and they bring it to you. The items where priced very reasonably. And the owner was very nice. Don’t let the presentation of the food fill you, it was actually pretty tasty.

Completely puzzled as to how this place has a 4 star average. I was not impressed, no one in my group felt that this place deserves 4 stars. Seafood pancake & kimchee pancake had bad texture. It was also not crispy at all. Chicken breast in my Bimbimbap(got 6.2) was dry, not a lot of a rice. Veggies were OK. I asked for my egg well done and they just have me the sliced scrambled egg that they use for jap chae. Second 6.2 bowl with short rib was overcooked. Short rib had lots of black charred pieces and a section of the rice was also black. Cheese pizza was big but didn’t taste good. Lady that worked there didn’t smile once. Guy was nice and checked on us once. Not coming back, ever. If you’re ever in the south bay, try Bimbimbowl in Sunnyvale. Much better food & service.

Yes, yes, yes! While Bob is just the name of restaurant, Mr. Chang(owner) knows his sh*t! Theeee best bibimap I’ve ever had. Sometimes I get the 6.1 with spare ribs, but that’s 2 dolla extra. Chicken w/brown rice is my go-to. You hit that gochujang sauce hard in that bowl, and, baby, you got yourself a meal. He knows I have a pizza addiction, so they got pizza, too! Hit the Saloon next door for a Hamm’s to cool off.

Bob’s is set up cafeteria-style. You order, pay, and sit and wait for them to bring you your food. I wasn’t a huge fan of the concept of tipping prior to eating, but that’s the way the point-of-sale system works. The food didn’t really impress me. The beef dolsot bibimbap was fine, and it came in a stone bowl with crispy rice. The flavors weren’t amazing, but it was filling and the ingredients were fresh. However, the seafood pancakes weren’t good at all. There was minimal seafood and the batter was rubbery. It isn’t too expensive, so I might come again for comfort food style rice bowls, but probably nothing else.

Friendly service with delicious Korean fried rice. I love coming here because it’s perfect whenever. Super filling and delicious fried rice for only $ 10.95. I love 6.2 with chicken. It’s rice, chicken, greens, sprouts, mushroom, carrots, and of course, the sunny side up egg. The egg isn’t fully cooked so when you break the yolk, the egg cooks fully in the hot stone bowl. SOGOOD. Overall such a great place to eat, portions are huge so i always have food to take home. Service is good, food is good, great parking lot.

Love their Traditional Korean Bowl it’s #5 on their menu. Simple, Healthy, and Yummy. This is not nothing like your regular Korean Restaurant… They also serve Pizza here. It’s not a fancy place, but there’s alot of reason why you should try it. Fast/friendly service, Huge food portion, Reasonable in price, and Our order came with a smile. The lady who took our order is very sweet.

Delicious and healthy place for your Korean cravings! Words can’t explain how much I love this place. As people say the service is rude or they aren’t being paid attention to. I’ve had nothing but great experiences here! The veggies are fresh. The meat is tender and flavorful. Everything is made to order. I’m a picky eater(or maybe because I don’t eat rice and I’m allergic to eggs) but they have no problem customizing your order the exact way you want it. My go to is a number 3 with short rib, no egg and no rice. My boyfriend gets the traditional Korean bowl with short rib and brown rice. Fresh fresh fresh. Their seaweed salad is great and has some carrots in it as well. Gyoza was flavorful. But I have to say my all time fave is the red sauce for your bowls — might I add it’s a pretty big bowl! I’m waiting for the day to try their Korean pizza. Say what? Korean pizza!!!

Cheap bibimbap and pizza all in one place! They have an interesting variety of American and traditional bibimbap and as well as pizza. I ordered the traditional dolsot bibimbap with chicken, a side of seafood pancakes, and a slice of cheese pizza. My bf also ordered the American dolsot bibimbap with chicken. The owner warned us it was going to be a lot of food but we were like, «We can handle it.» We grabbed a table and sat down and waited about 5 mins and our food came out piping hot and sizzling. The portions were quite big for the bibimbap. Then our seafood pancakes which came in 4 small cd sized pancakes, and lastly our GIANT slice of cheese pizza which was cut into 6 pieces. The owner was not kidding, it was a whole lot of food for just two people. The bibimbap was good, nice balance of meat and veggies and rice. The seafood pancake was okay. The squid inside of it was a little chewy. The pizza was nice, and thin and cheesy. Food overall was good, however, when we got our water from the soda fountain machine, i noticed that at the bottom of our cups was bits of what looked like dirt or something and didn’t end up drinking the water. I believe their soda fountain machine has not been cleaned and who knows if it is just the water. This place has good food for good price, but they need to clean that soda fountain.

Obsessed with this place! I would’ve never expected this little place to have some delicious food, but alas, I was incorrect. I ordered the bulgogi bowl(I think it was bulgogi, i can’t remember) and it was a HUGE portion. For the price it is an insane amount of food. They put the rice in a stone bowl so it stays super hot and actually keeps cooking throughout your meal, so it basically tastes more delicious the more you eat it. GENIUS. Service was also super nice and welcoming. Only weird thing was the marketing of this restaurant. Pizza and bibimbop? Odd. And the interior is a weird putrid green color. Not super appetizing but overall love this place. Will be back!

The first time I ever came here, I thought that the lady who served us was extremely unfriendly. My boyfriend and I were asking her some questions regarding the menu, but her responses made it seem like we were wasting her time with dumb questions. Our second time was a much better experience. The guy who worked there was very welcoming and attentive. He even checked up on us while we were eating to make sure that everything was okay. Food: –Bibimbap bowl: I thought my dish was only decent when I added their special red sauce. Without it, it was just a dish with too much rice and vegetables, and not enough meat. But maybe I really just have no idea what a good bibimbap consists of, so definitely do not take my word on this. –Seafood pancake: Good appetizer. It’s super cheap too! –Bibimbap wrap: This is my favorite! It’s huge, filling, and full of flavor, with a kick of spiciness. I recommend this one! –Korean pizza: This«slice» is really a super humungo slice. I wish the guy would’ve warned us, because my boyfriend and I ended up with too much food, haha! However, I was pretty disappointed with this pizza. It was definitely not as delicious as it looked. Bottom layer was the bread, middle layer had meat and various veggies, and top layer was cheese. When I bit into it, the veggies tasted as if they were raw. Later that night, my boyfriend said he had an upset stomach. I probably wouldn’t get this again. Overall, it’s a decent little shop to check out. This is more of an Americanized Korean joint, but I was definitely liking the prices, as compared to authentic Korean restaurants.

Came here with Binky this past Friday for a quick dinner. Mix & Eat is definitely not a traditional Korean restaurant experience — you order at the front and they bring you the food on plastic trays(similar to those from elementary school — Although I’ve never ordered the pizza, it could be a fun fifth grade lunch throwback with the red tray. Definitely good for the patron going through a mid-life crisis with a desire to feel YOUNG again). There are also NO small Korean appetizers nor do they sell anything but bibimbap but the price is also lower than most Korean restaurants. Food was good, per usual. Tasted maybe slightly blander that day than usual(don’t know if this was just me). Binky doused his bibimbap with the Korean spicy sauce(comes in the big, red ketchup-looking container) until the rice was the same color as the bottle so I didn’t even bother asking him what he thought. Bob came out a few times to check on us – what a sweet, sweet man. Overall, a pleasant experience — recommended for those with a hankering for sweet, Korean men + red, plastic trays.

I’ve gotten bimibap takeout from here a couple times and it’s always been really quick to get my food and really tasty as well. I wish they offered the dolsot to go, but understand that because it’s in a hot stone bowl, they can’t. Although, I think that they would let me box it up myself if I ordered one. I’ve had the bibimbap with fresh vegetables and also with sauteed vegetables with beef. The last time, I actually added a fried egg to the #5 and really enjoyed that. The food is very good and filling. I can never finish the entire bowl. The sauce that comes with it is really hot(for me), so I can only eat a little with it. It would be nice to have another sauce option instead, but the food is still good without it. It really makes you feel good eating so many veggies! Service is always super fast and friendly. I definitely recommend if you’re interested in something quick but not from a fast food joint.

This place is really close to the Dublin /Pleasanton BART station, so imagine many of the reviews here came from BART users. It’s easy to spot as its on the corner where the Burger King is off Hopyard and Owen(south of the 580 freeway). The place is pretty barebones on the inside, you definitely don’t come here for the ambience. The people are nice, but the food is just average. The fiancé and I got the Korean style stone pot bibimbap. I think it’d be a good take out option on those busy days, but it wasn’t a great value. For two stone pot bibimbap, the total was a little over $ 21. No banchan either. I think this will be a place I’d go to if time and convenience were of the most importance.

I was rolling my Whip Black Beauty to Navin Ks UYE at Mix & Eat Bobs House. They are located in a large stripmall so I found Parking for my Whip in a Down Low and Convenient location . I rolled in to Mix & Eat and was Greeted by Navin K and his Unilocal posse. I grabbed a seat at the Group Table and then made my way to the Order Counter . I perused the Menu and then I ordered a 6.2 Hot Stone Korean Bowl and Seafood Pancakes . I grabbed a Cup Of Water from the Soda Fountain. It was a Nice Turn Out for Navin K UYE even Yo Steph Our Lovely Eastbay CM made an appearance . The Korean Bowl was very tasty and it even came with a Sunny Side up egg. The Seafood Pancakes were a good appetizer . The Owners of Bobs– Brought out Samples of Their Pepperoni Pizzas and Pot stickers. The Prices are very reasonable and portions were good sized. There are 2LCD TVs for Entertainment. I would return if in the Area.
